Sizes are small ie 1 small slice of bacon 1 sausage etc although you have to choose the night before they still managed to mess it up blamed everything on the staff saying i that they were new food dressed up to make it look good but very poor
- Gillian (8/5): July 25 - Our room was over looking the main road, although noisy to start with, the traffic was very quiet after 9.30 so no disturbed sleep. The hotel is very spacious, and seating areas to cater for everyones needs. Great placd would recommend.

Our room was large and comfortable with a table and chairs, plenty of storage space. The grounds were a good size, well maintained and great for sitting outside. Dinner was very good in a conservatory dining room. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, happy to chat and offer advice on places to visit and things to do. A very enjoyable short stay

Lovely bathroom, but very little space to put your own items and could do with some extra towel rails. Thank you to the staff who were all very friendly and attentive. Overall 9/10 and will definitely book again.

- Sharon (10/5): Happy Days. - Our 4 night stay was excellent. Room located on ground floor was perfect for my wife with COPD. Food was very good and staff were all excellent. We would single out Pam, head of housekeeping and Fiona, duty manager for extra praise, who both went that bit further to make our stay perfect. We will certainly be booking again next year.

My only concern for me was when we returned back to the hotel and you wanted a evening night cap that the beer was not cold it was more on the tepid side rather than cold as a beer should be served, this was the only negative element for me as this hotel is a fine good quality hotel, the breakfast was of a good quality.
- James (8/5): - It’s a nice quiet Inn with a lot of character, lovely garden and nice surrounding forest. Very easy to get to the local sea towns from here. The rooms are cosy and well kept, the inn is old fashioned but that is never a bad thing. Staff were very polite and helpful to any questions or requests. The food is great quality and the staff were friendly. The only issue we had was flies/wasps whilst dining.

The hotel has some lovely gardens. The food was very good indeed and close to two National Trust estates and just a few miles from Cromer. Overall, our stay was just perfect.

Great Bar and bar staff very helpful, the only problem we had was the shower water pressure was very low and was told to run the hot water for about 5mins just to get hot water (wasting water) as our room was a bit further away from the boiler, I still give 10 out of 10, planning to book again with friend and family.

- M (8/5): Good place to stay - My wife and I enjoyed our trip to Norfolk and the Roman Camp in is situated within easy driving distance of many interesting places to visit. There was a bit of a hiccough on arrival, as our reservation had not been processed by the Inn, even though we appeared to have received confirmation by email. As a result, we had to move from one to another during our stay, which was a little tiresome. Traffic noise was a bit of an issue, particularly in the new room, but otherwise the Inn is definitely a fun place to stay and we would be happy to recommend it to friends.

- Emma (8/5): We enjoyed our stay - Lovely staff, really friendly and helpful. Accommodation was good, evening meal was very tasty and nicely presented. Except for pints, drinks are a bit on the expensive side. The hotel is next to a busy road, which would have been good to know when booking as it disturbed my sleep with the window open. Bed was lovely and comfortable, not hard like most hotels. There's a petrol station next door, which is useful for getting water for the room, as we only got the free bottled water when we asked and it was fizzy; think it would have been expensive to buy at the hotel. Local busses are few and far between, Saturday bus runs twice, both before 1pm, no busses on Sundays. Great area to walk round, we walked to The Rocky Bottom across the local land no problem.

- Frank (8/5): Is it Me ?? - We had booked the "Deluxe" dble room for 2 nights B&B, upon arrival, we were offered complimentary afternoon cream tea which we declined as we had lunch on the way, but it was a nice gesture, dinner booking was recommended although the table offered was over looked by the "till" area and was small, it later transpired that we sat outside as it was so humid and a warm night, and there was no need to book a table at all, as plenty were available. We were not comfortable with being constantly welcomed/addressed as "Guys" by the waiting staff in the restaurant which seemed to be the norm for serving everyone, it was too impersonal and took the edge off our first night there, although we didn't complain. We did not eat there on the 2nd night. The room was pleasantly airy and clean however it looked right over the main A148 !! Hardly any tea/coffee making items, we asked for replacements twice, no bottled water in the room nor was it the "Garden view" as was advertised, the "Spa bath" is shallow, also, the towelling was fresh out of the packaging and most of our clothing and body were covered in "Fluff" which we did complain about the next day, much to the "seemingly shag-ran" response from reception. Breakfast was a full on English or lighter if you preferred, the 2nd morning they ran out of Dairy free butter and we were subjected to the minuscule table scenario again, (Wings in) yet other guests of 2 had a table for 4 reserved ?? Room for improvement, Aged public rooms.

The room was lovely and clean tidy and perfect for a four night stay Breakfast was everything you could ask for and more , this also went for the meal at night Cooked to perfection! But the greatest thing about the hotel was the staff, each and every person made the effort to make the stay as pleasurable as possible 10/10 for everything ! A place I’d like to stay again and again if I was in the area

- DARREN (4/5): Disappointing!!! I felt Regret we've chosen here!! - We stayed two nights in the most expensive room ' Delux Double Room' from 28th to 30th May 2021. It's £160 a night, but it's not worth our every penny at all! Every morning at 8:09 am, we had a massive/extremely loud fire alarm that shocked us from the bed and it happened again on the 2nd morning. We strongly doubt that was set up by the hotel on purpose as the breakfast time finishes at 10 am in the morning and guests need to check out no later than 10.30 am. Then while we were very tired and wanted to go back to bed after having a massive shocking alarm, it was just like an impossible thing. We can hear very loud water-dropping noises through the ceiling above our bed - just like someone showing above our head and we had to wait until the showing finishes!!! It had happened in two mornings while we stayed here. The 2nd night at 10.30 pm when I just started my shower, the water temperature wasn't hot and I thought it might get warmer so I kept my shower going but I was SO wrong! The water became colder and colder, unfortunately, I had to rinse myself with freezing cold water! I wasn't happy about it, but I couldn't complain at that time as the receptionist only works until 10 pm. Sadly, the nightmares hadn't been finished, the 2nd morning we had our breakfast at 9.40 am, the staff started moving tables and chairs, making lots of noises, and cleaning things around us. They said that was their cleaning time so they can get it ready for lunch! EXCUSE ME!? Disappointing!

The room was clean and comfortable but a little noisy being so close to a busy road. Breakfast was good and the food was generally adequate. A pleasant stay was made even better by the staff.
