• Mina (8/5): - Just a couple of minutes away from a tram and bus stop. The staff was really nice and always helpful, breakfasts were satisfactory (toast + jams/peanut butter) or cereal. There were a lot of alternative milk options 👍👍 bathroom and kitchen were always clean Bunk beds aren't very stable and make a lot of noise when you climb the ladder

Location great for a walk into St kilda or Albert park, I had a lovely time seeing the penguins on the pier. Receptionist was very friendly every time I saw her. Slept well in the dorm. Girls bathroom was closed for cleaning for a lot of the time I needed to use it

• Kylian (7/5): Poor cleanliness and noisy beds, excellent location and welcoming staff. - Location is great, Turkish guy at the reception is super friendly, including breakfast Bathroom and kitchen are not cleaned well/at all, beds creaking terrible, lots of longtermers and people who live here. They won’t change your bed linen even if you stay a week.

• Sven (9/5): Price-wise a great option for a private room in Melbourne - We stayed for a week and it was a great base for visiting the Australian open. Close to the tram which comes every 2-3 min so you’re fairly fast in CBD. St Kilda itself is also nice and one day we walked to the beach (20 min). Albert park is also walkable. Breakfast included, we also used the 25% discount on food and 10$ pints in the pub a lot of times which was nice 👌 Bathroom was ok The room only had a fan, sometimes it got kinda hot depending on the weather

Clean , basic room with clean shared bathroom. Still does the job, good breakfast in the bar. Windsor Arms downstairs is still excellent

• Charyn (1/5): Im also aware that they don’t want Australian backpackers staying in their two hostels located in stkilda - Nothing Basically I have stayed in this hostel and their sister hostel (where I was sexually assaulted by one of their guest) the management on the pint on punt has made a cowardly decision to kick me out of this hostel for no good reason other than I had supposedly made some people uncomfortable. When I asked him what I had done he said I can’t tell you….No discussion was made I was just thrown out onto the street. He also lied about evicting me! And refuses to give me his managers details. He told me Agoda made the mistake with their booking website and that the pint on punt was booked out for the duration of my booking. He then cowardly wrote an email that I am not welcome there. It’s disgusting behaivour.
