• Judith (10/5): - Absolutely fantastic historical hotel. It was a history lesson right in front of us. Beside that we had Crystal and China glasses and cups. The rooms were better than excellent with all the comforts and more. The breakfast was great. We highly recomnend this place.
• Carin Cecilia (10/5): Best stay in Arromanches-les-Bains - Best stay in Arromanches-les-Bains (in Normandie)! A well-kept building from 1850 where they have kept the style, weathered doors and old windows. Fantastic host/hostess! Fantastic collection of WW2 memeromobilia in the entire house. The atmosphere is unbeatable!
• Jeffrey (8/5): - There are some issues with this location. Apparently, Normandy is a fairly rural location, and taxi service is poor at this facility. We also arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the car rental company was closed for the weekend. We had arranged thru the facility owner to have a taxi waiting at 0645 when we departed and it arrived an hour late and we missed our train and flight.
• Andrea (10/5): - Lots of WWII memorabilia sprinkled through out the property and even our room. Wonderful to peruse. The owner of the property stopped by as well.
• Thomas (10/5): - An exceptional hotel experience. Paul is a fantastic host with a deep knowlegde of the fascinating artifacts in this almost museum hotel. My kids (20 & 13) that it was the most interesting hotel they ever stayed at. It is an ideal base for exploring the D-day beaches. We would like to return!
• Mary (10/5): - Jean Marie’s passion for WWII era planes, equipment and stories — and his willingness to show off his curated collection makes this little hotel a gem in Normandy. Our room was large and the bathroom modern. We loved it!
• Steven (8/5): - If you love airplanes then this is the place. It’s a pilots dream. Fantastic art work and prints. A C-47 cockpit no less. Room was fine, comfortable, lots of stairs to floor 1. Would stay agin for sure. The owner was very nice.

• KEVIN (6/5): - The old electric wiring resulted in a breaker to flip and short out plug ins.. This fried (i.e. ruined) both a new AC charger and a new AC conversion adapter.
• Joanne (8/5): - This is a really interesting property for D Day aviation enthusiasts - the owner is a proud collector and shares his display openly throughout the property. The bathroom in our unit was modern and well appointed. The house is old and brings with it the challenges of trying to carry heavy suitcases up numerous winding staircases. This was too much for us so we had to leave our large suitcases in the car. Parking is a bit difficult if the pay lot is full but there is free parking about the equivalent of 3 blocks away. The property is secured at all times with a locked gate - make sure that you have a phone you can use in Europe for contacting the owner upon arrival for check in. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed a memorable stay at this location.

• John (10/5): - Such a charming small hotel. Decorated in antiques and WWII memorabilia. The hotel is really more of a family run BnB. A very friendly family. Even the dog works by excorting guests to breakfast and if necessary by helping them eat. A couple of courtyard parking spots are available. The location couldn't be better being acdoss the street from the museum in Arromanches. Our room was surprisingly large too.

• Regis (10/5): A must see experience - We had the separate aile for our family. Great room with lots of history. Staff was amazing and always ready to help. Restaurant are 2 minutes away by walk.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Decent, but unprofessional, look elsewhere - The hotel is not really a hotel, but more of a BnB, just keep that in mind when you book. The Owner is exceptionally rude and not professional at all. The location seems decent, but with all the road construction going on there isn't a great way to get to the location and a lot of the shops and restaurants were closed when we were there. The owner wants to give you a full on tour when you arrive, so just be prepared for that even if you've had a long day of travel and just want to take a shower and sleep. She is very proud of her establishment, which is fantastic, but the tour could wait (we even asked for it to be done later, but she insisted). There are NO elevators, so lugging your suitcases up multiple flights of stairs is not enjoyable. The breakfast was the bright spot. They did have a great assortment and the breakfast was worth what they asked for it. Everything else... not so much.

This location was a good base for our museum excursions around the area. Our accommodations felt historical, comfortable and more than adequate. The home and hosts are just charming! • Ronald (10/5): A Simply Wonderful Location - I was in France on business and snuck away for a weekend to Normandy. Normandy itself was great; the facilities and friendliness of the staff at DDAYS made the entire weekend wonderful. The hostess was marvelously charming, helpful, and just a wonderful human being. The facilities are marvelous. My room was beautiful. Overall, I'd say that Day Aviators Le Manor is a bargain at any price. I look forward to my next visit.
• Gregory (10/5): Stunning hotel in historic home near the beach - Fabulous hotel! A beautiful building that was once a mansion. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. Everything is very clean. The town is cute, and the hotel is a very short walk to the beach. The owners of the hotel or extremely kind and speak French and English. They’re breakfasts are fantastic!
• Terri (10/5): - Perfectly located near the beach and town. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The entire house is decorated with items from D-Day and other historical pieces. A museum in itself. An incredible breakfast. You won't need to eat the rest of the day. Loved this place.
• Erik (10/5): Meget hyggeligt hotel med fremragende placering - Vi tilbragte 3 dage i værelse B6. Det var et stort og fantastisk værelse med havudsigt og en lille karnap, hvor vi kunne tage en kop te. Vi blev modtaget med stor venlighed, ligesom morgenmaden var omfangsrig og fremragende. Arromanches-les-Bains er et lille by, men der var flere restauranter og barer, og en købmand, hvis man har brug for det. Alt handler om D-dag. Museet er fremragende og Mulberry-havnen er meget fascinerende.

Easy parking across the street, short walk to restaurants, stores, etc. But the hotel is still pretty quiet so you get the best of both worlds. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay again if we go back to the area.

Dom serverar jättetrevlig frukost som rekommenderas. Hotellet har perfekt läge med parkering på innergården, åker gärna tillbaks.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful - My daughter and I stayed in this wonderful B&B with welcoming hosts, a comfortable room, and a historical collection that swept us back in time. While focused on the WWII tours that ran out of Bayeux, we also wanted to have plenty of time sea side as well. This was the perfect location for both and staying at DDay Aviators Le Manor helped make our short time in Arromaches-les-Bains very special. The breakfast environment with the 1940s soundtrack was a great way to begin each day, and the period decor of the room (with fully modern bath) was a peaceful and noble way to wrap up the day. Hope to return someday.

• Colleen (10/5): - What a beautiful spot! My cousin and I travelled this way to visit June Beach for November 11 and chose this Manor House - and it did NOT disappoint! The place is like a museum of historical artifacts from World War II in Normandy. Our host was only too happy to explain these pieces to us and the stories that accompanied them - he was a pleasure to listen to in his passion for the subject. If you're looking for something authentic with lots of history up close and personal, this is the place. Will be back and would highly recommend!

Cette maison d hôtes est un petit musée en elle même, beaucoup de souvenirs récoltes par des passionnés que sont les propriétaires. 2 petites remarques qui ne remettent en rien notre bon séjour - Le bruit du au fait qu il y ai un plancher, selon les personnes et les heures cela peut être gênant. - petit déjeuner copieux mais il faut choisir ce que vous voulez à votre arrivé. Il serait plus judicieux d avoir un buffet et de pouvoir choisir ce que l on veut tous les jours Sinon rien à redire sur la qualité du petit déjeuner
• Paul (10/5): - This is surely a hidden Gem! I cannot speak highly enough of the hosts. The hotel is full of artefacts from the WW2 D Day invasion. There’s even a C47 cockpit here, pictures of the invasion, bits and pieces that are just fascinating…. Get Paul, the owner to tell you about them and you will learn as much about D Day as visiting a museum… The hotel itself is a very nice comfortable place to stay, great room and bathroom. It’s 2 minutes walk into the restaurant area, as well as the waterfront that you will want to look around.. We would happily stay here again so that sums it up!

Room was amazing, sea view, beautifully decorated and the D Day artefacts were unusual interesting and poignant. This is a gem of a hotel highly recommended thank you again.

She and her husband are very interested in the historical importance of the area and their property is decorated with WWll photos and artifacts. It is located 2 blocks from Gold Beach, just a short walk to the museums, restaurants and shopping.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - So much thanks to making my stay in Normandy wonderful! Florence is an incredible host. Her guidance provided us with so much insight of Arromanches and beyond. Our accommodations were amazing! Our suite that allowed us to be serenaded to the sound of the waves of the Normandy Coast through the double hung windows of this beautiful nineteenth century manoir. Breakfast was a must as we were woken to the aroma of fresh baked croissants and the sound of vintage 1940's music. My visit to the Normandy coast was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. A visit to Florence's manoir made it the creme de la creme!

• Karen (10/5): - Our host, Florence, was amazing. From start to finish, she was all about us. The property itself is exceptionally situated. We opted for the additional breakfast each morning which was well worth it: lots of fresh baked goods, cheeses, eggs, ham, juices, and coffee in a lovely dining room. The house is filled with memorabilia from WWII, which is extremely interesting, but it’s not cluttered or too ‘museum like’ for people just coming for a holiday at the beach. The room was nice, with a lovely modern bathroom (double sinks are always a plus when getting ready in the morning). In all, a lovely manor house in a wonderful location, and whose host made us feel like part of the family.
• Tiffany (8/5): Adorable manor house. Great value for the money - This adorable manor house has just opened in the heart of gold beach in arronmanches.les bains. Walking distance to the town and museums and on site parking for very cheap ... breakfast available also. We had a triple room, which turned out to be a suite with 2 separate bedrooms and a bathroom with 2 showers! And an ocean view of gold beach. Only downside was it was difficult to check in and out. We arrived and no one was at the desk. The sign said to call a number but my US cell wiuldnt call in France. We walked around town and stumbled across the sister property ( a b and b) next to the tourism office. The same lady runs both properties and goes back and forth.. but we got settle and it was lovely!! 1 of the best hotels I have stayed in. She required us to pay cash upon check out, which I didnt see listed as a requirement online, but thankfully there was an atm about 50 yards away.

• Danny (10/5): Superb B&B - Wonderfully warm place. We were greeted late after a delay to our ferry by the owners with a lovely welcome (including from their gentle dog Hunter). Shown to our fantastic room, pass some amazing photos and artefacts from D-day. Our room was great. A superb blend between a brand new modern bathroom and chic traditional French. With a view of the sea we gently drifted of to sleep in the comfortable beds. Oh, nice touch was that Paul had tuned the channels to the English ones on the TV. Breakfast was amazing. Full of proudly local produce. Cheese, croissants baked on site that morning, apple tart with local apples and a wonderfully rich brioche. Overall, FANTASTIC. It set us up so we'll for our (too) short break perfectly. We will be going again. Fantastic friendly hosts....and a lovely dog
