• Hannes Ronny (9/5): Really nice hostel - Staff was super friendly and often included in social life in the hostel. Nice events like trivia, music quiz and lots of other stuff. Nice people. Chill balcony I stayed three weeks in this hostel and it was really nice. I didn’t like the plates and cutlery concept. You had to go to the reception to get it and then you could keep it. I understand why they are doing it, but they have to chance it. When I went to the reception they didn’t even had a plate for me. But sometimes someone let their plate in the kitchen so you just can take it. Furthermore forks are very rare. If you find a fork defend it for your life XD.

• Ana (3/5): - Läget var centralt Ostädat och stökigt boende med många long-term gäster. Rummet jag bodde i var i väldigt dåligt skick, det var stökigt, det låg kläder över hela golvet, luktade illa och det fanns ingen plats att ställa min väska. Dessutom var det svårt att få någon ro då andra i rummet pratade högt med varandra och i telefon mitt i natten, trots att jag påpekade att jag ville sova. Lampan var dessutom tänd under lång tid, vilket gjorde det ännu svårare att vila.

• Miki (10/5): - I stayed here for a few days. It’s within a 10-minute walk to Cairns Central Shopping Centre. The room had good air conditioning and the bed was comfortable and sturdy. The kitchen was spacious, and the shared areas were kept clean with regular housekeeping throughout the property.

Poêles et casseroles de bonne qualités. Manque de toilettes/douches. Pas très propre. Un peu vieux et vétuste. Chambre ou parties communes. Chambre froide pour stocker nourriture. Manque lumière près du lit. J'aurais aimé plus de clarté pour free drink, pas le dimanche.
• maria (3/5): Buena ubicación , pero bastante sucio. Mucha gente y poco respeto por los espacios comunes . - La ubicación Muy sucio los espacios comunes. Nunca vi a nadie limpiar. El suelo es de moqueta y estaba super sucio por todas partes. En 4 dias nunca pasaron el aspirador .

• ronak (2/5): - The location is good. I've travelled a lot and stayed in many hostels. This was by far my worst experience. The staff really doesn't know things and quite confidently bluffs. After I checked in, I put my stuff on the bed and when I came back it was gone. On asking at the reception she had no clue, only to find it in the basket behind her. Next she says personal pillows are not allowed in the dorm as it is against Queensland rules, while her colleague at night just handed it back to me. The rooms are messy as many people stay there permanently and are not restricted to one room. There's barely place to walk.

• Lindenberg (10/5): - I loved this hostel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed that it was a social hostel and right in the middle of the city! Would recommend to anyone looking for a social hostel.

The room was book: single bed in 4-bed mixed dormitory room for 3 persons (3single bed) under same booking number that should get the same room number (stay together) 2. Once we check-in that we got so terrible experience that 1 person stay in other room and those room are so messy (the review was support the hostel good ) but what we got are so bad condition and experience ) 3. THE OWNER of the property should KNOW of their product to selling to customer ???? 4. Super surprise that quite complicate to Check-in and after 8pm (another 2 guests arrived around 9pm) also NO towel and dispenser provided for guest? 5. We paid money for ???? But we got very less benefit ??? 6. The reason while Check-in was said “ no guarantee that you will get the same room together” but why on selling can select room and bed together! 7. It quite Deceitful the guest while mad decision to book the room! 8.Totally not valuable room rate for us!

• Cook (10/5): Exceptional - Mad Monkey Central Hostel is a fantastic place to stay if you're looking for a vibrant and social atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome, especially Joanna and Zarah. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

• Alicia (8/5): Very good - The room didn’t have ventilation, which made it a bit stuffy. It had AC and a fan, but I feel it really needs a window. Since there are many people in one room, proper ventilation is necessary. The kitchen needs more organization and utensils.

The bathrooms were very dirty and definitely not enough of them for the amount of people staying. If there is an option with an ensuite, it’s worth it. Rooms are tight

• Molly (10/5): Exceptional - Had a lovely stay here over the weekend! The location is perfect, everything you need is within walking distance. The staff are extremely helpful and attentive, especially Zarah and Kasper they both made me feel very welcome. The facilities are very clean, there is constantly staff cleaning throughout the day. The bar creates a lively atmosphere in the evenings and they also have a great happy hour!! I would definitely come back to stay here☺️
