• Kreuger (10/5): - Wat een oase in alle drukte. Ruime kamer, schoon en goede airco. Van de drukte op straat is op de kamer niets te merken. Gezellig dakterras met prima zwembadje. Personeel niets anders dan lof, allen super vriendelijk en zetten zonder dat je er om vraagt en pas extra. Niets is te gek, allemaal onwijs vriendelijk en zo ook de eigenaar. Staat een beveiliger 24/7 voor de deur wat een heel fijn idee is. Beveiligde parkeerplek ook nog. Kortom, absoluut een aanrader! Met plezier hier verbleven!

NO SMOCKING UNLESS YOU GO TO THE FRONT LOBBY AND IS A D SGEROUS ZONE. IT NEVER SHOWS I THE DESCRIPTION THAT YOU ONLY ARE ABLE TO USE THE POOL TILL 9PM OR THE COMMON AREA TILL 11... BUMMER

I came to Panama with no plans and ended up staying five nights instead of two, because of the hotel. This place embraced me like home, full of warmth, kindness, and soul. Every detail, from the warm hospitality to the peaceful ambiance, reflected thoughtfulness and soul. This isn’t just a hotel; it’s where comfort meets kindness. The staff are warm, attentive, and truly go above and beyond. Pure class! The owners offer their help wholeheartedly, and the receptionist is simply a wonderful person, more than just a concierge, with a truly unique spirit. And the bartender? She is absolutely first class! Thank you for creating such a beautiful experience. I carry it with me, and I’ll be back.

• Philester (9/5): Hotel Casa Miller checked off 99% of my must haves. “ Satisfaction achieved.” - I made a personal request as I was leaving the premises. To my surprise when I returned the item I requested was in my room. I can’t find a word at the moment to describe how impressed I was with Victor, the owner immediate response. I can't think of anything I didn't like. The hotel has security, a restaurant, rooftop pool, and the staff were great, Oh, there is on occasion a DJ to spin music, Maybe, you could dance!

• Darren (1/5): Horribly unsafe location and you won't get your money back - The place was in a horrible and unsafe area. Didn't even get out of the Uber. Driver even told me not to stay here. Tried to cancel, I was told by booking.com, and the owner that I'd have to talk to the other side and ther was nothing they could do. Never stayed here or got my money back. They basically stole my money. Terrible experience in a super unsafe area. So unsafe I booked another place. Was never given my money back. Stay somewhere else this place is garbage.

Good cheap breakfast on the roof. Great value for money. Internet was erratic at times and the room decor a little tired.

Super comfortable bed, very good air conditioning, clean, nice staff and security, and the restaurant was open late. A little dated decor and based on what I saw probably not a great neighborhood to walk in at night

• Lisa (8/5): An Oasis in the city - Staff was very friendly and helpful. The building is interesting and I would love to research its full history. It felt like we were the only people staying here it was kind of fun to have a whole hotel to ourselves LOL Our AC unit started to drop a little in the night. We just flipped ourselves around in bed and let them know when we were checking out. It didn't ruin our stay. Also, in the kitchenette there was no silverware, again, was not a big deal. Just would have been nice to stir my coffee ☕ we actually really enjoyed this place! Clean comfortable the staff was nice the price was right what more can you ask for!

• Vivienne (9/5): We loved our stays at the Casa Miller and slept there 3 times between island visits. - The hotel CEO is a very friendly and excellent entertainer. We loved the hospitality and the great evenings at the outside rooftop bar. The rooftop bar with its DJ and comfortable sofas where we spent our evenings were definatly a highlight. It’s very close to the old town, but not recomendable to walk there at night, due to the unsafe neighbourhood. The streetnoise is also not a plus.

The real star of the place is its staff. The most kind and helpful I have experienced so far in all my travels. Booked for one night, ended up staying for 3. Amazing! Best choice if you want to save some money and stay 10 mins walking from casco Viejo There is nothing bad about the place. 24hrs reception, super clean, very comfy beds and pillows. We had a leaking AC unit, they changed our room immediately. We had to get up early for a tour at 6am, the guy at the reception offered us some coffee as he didn't know we had to leave so early. Negatives - not many restaurants etc nearby and noisy in rooms facing street. Ask for an inner room. Hotel happily moved me after 1st night. Hotel restaurant is OK but could do with more choice for a week stay and service a bit slow. Maybe that is normal here. Nice stay overall and owner friendly. As above

The location was a few blocks away from better restaurants which required some extra walking.

We were waiting outside for an Uber one day and went to walk around the corner to get it, the security guard (kindly) ran after us down the road to tell us it’s very dangerous and not to walk there. We had to take an Uber everywhere, which was easy and cheap but kind of annoying. The breakfast took about an hour to come and wasn’t great when it did.

• Scott (4/5): Disappointing - The room was clean. Drinks we had were good. Breakfast was included and tasty. Overall for a quick overnight trip it was ok. There was a coffee maker but no coffee. There was a built in desk but no chairs. The bed was ok but the pillows had a strange odor. Had a hamburger at the restaurant and it was tasteless and tough especially for 15 bucks. Wings were ok 5 out of 10.

• Paul (1/5): Disappointing - This hotel is located in a dump. The rooms are small and smell like antiseptic cleaner. The staff themselves informed us that it's not safe to walk outside at night. There was the dangerous ghetto directly across the street.the name of the area is Calidonia. We opted to leave without checking in or presenting ID. I called a taxi almost immediately. But they still charged my card for the full stay and said that it wasnt them, and that booking.com charged my card automatically. This was by far my worst experience and I will inform everyone I know both in person and on social media about it.

• Annie (5/5): Not worth it- gross - The staff was nice, free covered parking and water upon arrival was a nice touch. The room had a very very small window and generally felt dingy. The club upstairs was tacky and the pool is really small. Honestly I was trying to save money but wish I spent $20 more dollars and stayed in any other place. Cigarette smell and a creepy feeling everywhere.
• Aida (5/5): I wouldn’t stay here again. - The bed was very comfortable It was in a very unsafe neighborhood. I wouldn’t recommend for solo travelers, especially women. They have a restaurant that is also a club and they blasted the music so loud when my friend and I were trying to have dinner, we couldn’t even hear each other (there was only two other people there and it was only 10 pm - no need for all the loud music yet). They took 30 minutes after we arrived to check my friend and I into our rooms. And the AC in my room wasn’t working. I called to asked to be changed rooms. It took them about 20 minutes just to come up and confirm that my AC did not work, and another 20 minutes to move me. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’d like a relaxing place to rest or if you like to take night strolls since it’s an unsafe part of the city.
• Adam (9/5): Superb - The inside of the hotel is clean and decorated nicely. The staff are great and go out of their way to make you comfortable. The upstairs (terrace) is a nice place to chill, have a meal, and drinks. The room was very comfortable with great AC. While not a far trip to the city centers (old and new), the hotel isn´t located in the best zone. Be careful going out at night.

• Sarah (10/5): Worth every cent and topped all expectations - Everything topped my expectations. 1. The staff is super helpful and speaks great English. 2. The area is how it is in Panama but not dodgy or unsafe in my opinion. Everywhere security and I travel alone as a women and never felt bad. But sure it's not an area where you go out for dinner and chill on the street. But that's why this great hotel is cheap. If you want the same standard in the old town you would pay 3 times as much. And hey, from the hotel to casco viejo it's between 2.25 dollars and 2,50...so absolutely no problem. But back to the high quality of this hotel 3. Great big absolutely clean rooms. Even a fridge and microwave and Coffeemaschine. But if you are lazy u even get free coffee in the reception area in the morning. How lovely is that? 4. The chef Eric will make you the best fish you have eaten. I loved it and asked him all about it. Go and get the "Pescado tilapias" u will love it. It's fresh and so tasty. 5. The roof top with the pool is nice to chill out, they even sometimes have music and if you want to have a drink at the bar... All there. So all in all, I have been travelling for 5 months and seen a lot. This hotel is worth every cent. I did not even have to pay extra for a late checkout. Put better pictures of your pool in there... It's much nicer than it appears in your pics..😉🥰

• Gregory (9/5): Good value, central location - The amazing welcome we received from the Greek gentleman who runs the place - a great way to start a stay (and thanks for that!). The Location: 2 minutes by foot to the subway, super easy to find taxis, 10 minutes by foot to the fish market, less than 20 minutes walk by way of the fascinating (Pedastrial) Avenida Central (to the Old City). Lots of supermarkets, mini-markets, little pastry shops, etc. We wanted to share out time between the Parque Metropolitano and Old City so the location was great The rooms are very large and very clean. This area of the city is not very prosperous and might be a bit overwhelming for some. I (me average build, pushing 60, white hair) explored it a bit during the day (alone and as a couple) and then a couple of times in the evening (alone). I did not feel menaced but I not feel that was the safest place to be out at night. There are few restaurant options. The 24hr reception and the parking monitor make the hotel itself safe.
• Ann (10/5): A nice place without a doubt - Very nice attention from the guys at the reception, they helped me with the suitcases and I like that they are fluent in both English and Spanish, they were very courteous in everything, they responded to any disagreement and above all highlight the good work that everyone does in the place, they have very nice rooms and very well prepared for a nice lodging, I loved staying and of course I would do it again, as long as my 2 boys who helped me throughout everything are there Kevin and Bayron, they are excellent workers and very kind , a good place without a doubt I thought I heard a dog barking and it is a bit noisy since it can be heard throughout the hotel
• Ciara (6/5): Pleasant - The room was nice. Air-conditioned and clean with a comfy bed. It was just a little dark there during the day. The area around is said to be dangerous but we've been travelling for a while now and know what to look out for, just don't be flashing the cash

• Harden (8/5): Owner and staff are great. - Breakfast is only included with certain rooms. American breakfast was only OK. The last day we asked for fruit. The cook went down to street and prepared us a very good breakfast. Getting what you order on the menu would be nice. The cook likes to bring you the most expensive dish instead. He does do a good job cooking what he brings.
