The place has a very special atmosphere and it feels authentic, historic, and beautifully preserved. You can really sense the character of the building and the care that has gone into maintaining it over time. What made the experience even better were the people who run it. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, which made us feel immediately at home. The whole stay felt warm, relaxed, and memorable. It’s the kind of place that gives you a real sense of the local history and spirit. We absolutely loved it and would happily return. Highly recommended.

- Michael (10/5): OUR ONLY CHOICE FOR FUTURE ST ANTHONY STAYS - Lots and lots of room, very nice kitchen with all the necessities. Very clean yet being rustic. We really like the facility. The only downside was no elevator, which was not a problem for us, but might be for an elderly couple. The steps were quite long and could be a problem for an older person. Everything else was superb.

- Kelvin (10/5): - St Anthony (I like to call it San Antonio, but, that town is in Texas!) St. Anthony is only about a 1 hour drive from West Yellowstone MT. That means you can skip the nearly $300 per night hotels in West Yellowstone and keep a bit more money in your pocket. The folks made us feel very welcome. It is a very comfortable Inn. It will have its own restaurant soon, it's still under construction. It also has a well stocked bar so you really won't have to leave the premises once the restaurant is finished. While it really is still a work in progress, all that has been completed is very tasteful and well appointed. Our room was very special. We're planning on going back!

- Anthony (8/5): - The property itself is very old but updated. I saw plenty of wear and tear. My room was a little noisy being right by the street and stairwell. The customer service was very good. They provided food and drinks for breakfast in my fridge. You also have access to a gym next door. Pros outweigh the few cons.

Location was 72 miles from east entrance to Yellowstone so that was a bit to far to drive every day, and we stayed 3 days, and we had to climb 24 steps to get to room, not pleasant with luggage!!

Each room is different and an efficiency or suite. Pristinely clean and furnished with stove refrigerator microwave coffeemaker and dishwasher. New top of the line appliances. While the restaurant is undergoing remodeling, your refrigerator is stocked with eggs, juice, hash browns, sausage, waffles … everything you need for a make it yourself breakfast. Laundry facilities are available for guests. Nothing.Everything was wonderful but fair warning no elevator on the property.

- Cheryl (2/5): What a nightmare. - Was excited about this stay because of the age of the facility. It was not mentioned on their site that they were undergoing a total remodel. The only way to the room was up a very steep staircase which was like one from a horror film. To top it all off less than a minute after check in the power went out and it was 88 degrees outside.

The pull out couch mattress was not very comfortable for grown adults. We were not upset because we knew we were going to be sleeping on a pull out couch.

- Jenna (10/5): - We had a perfect stay! We stayed in the 1 bedroom family suite and it was very spacious. There is a queen bed in the living room and also another queen bed in a bedroom. It has a full kitchen and private bathroom. Guests are able to use a washer and dryer located in the hallway for free, complete with detergent. The restaurant is undergoing renovation so they had the fridge and freezer stocked with waffles, sausage, eggs hashbrowns, juice, water, cheese, and butter. They also had some breakfast sandwiches. Location was convenient and quiet. Very nice hosts who checked in via text to see if we needed anything. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent linens, bath, tub soaps and lotions. The location was perfect for touring Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. We loved it. Ty.
- Daniel (10/5): Hidden Gem!! - We were blown away at our accommodations!!! We actually drove right past the Inn (don't let the exterior deceive you) but once we were checked in, it was amazing! Far more luxurious and spacious than we were anticipating! The old fashioned motif and accessories made us feel like we were transported back in time while the modern facilities were more than we could want. Randall and his staff bent over backwards to make us feel like family! We will most surely be back!!!

- 56beckim (10/5): Highly recommend! - This place was AMAZING!!! Beautiful historical building- rooms are decorated nicely! Very clean and comfortable. Our host was a HOOT! What a character! I wanted to know if anyone had any paranormal experiences there- because it just FEELS like lots of old energy. He didn't want to confirm or deny but did say several people have commented. I told him of my experience in room 7- children giggling and an older man standing at the foot of my bed clearing his throat like you would to get someone's attention. Nothing negative there- just awesome! The restaurant is being remodeled so they provide you with a toaster to make frozen eggo waffles and frozen breakfast sandwiches to cook in the microwave. The frig was stocked with butter and syrup and oj. Perfect! If you are ever in St Anthony- I highly recommend you check it out!

But there was a little local restaurant within walking distance which was good. And across the street is a wonderful bakery. Highly recommend this place and if we are in the area again we will definitely stay here.
- Ian (10/5): - Stopped here coming back from Yellowstone. Tiny little town I'd never heard of with this hotel right on the main drag. Room reminded me of a well appointed bed-and-breakfast. Fluffy towels and very soft sheets. Kitchenette with commercial grade refrigerator/ freezer stocked for breakfast. One of the best places we stayed on this trip in terms of comfort and affordability.
- Smith (10/5): This was one of the better rooms on my week long trip. - The room was exceptional! The lobby was a bit shabby. No elevator to second floor and the stairs were a bit steep for an elderly couple.
- Sieler (10/5): Absolute best stay for your buck - The moment we walked in the gentleman at the counter in the lobby greeted us as if we had known each other for years. The room was probably one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in as well as the kitchen downstairs was under maintenance so they accommodated by going to the store and buying eggs,waffles,breakfast sandwiches, juice everything we needed to make a full breakfast being that we had a full kitchen. I can't say anything was wrong my one and only "complaint" would be the bed frame was very squeaky but with everything as clean and accommodated as it was I'd take a squeaky bed every time I stay.
