Guest Reviews
- Peter (8/5): - Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!!! Kleines Zimmer.
- Bojar (8/5): Very nice location, handy to plenty of eateries and close to public transport. - Breakfast was very good and satisfying. Location was excellent. Really quiet at nighttime.
- Avril (7/5): Great location, pleasant atay - Very convenient location for ferry and train services. Nice freshly cooked breakfast and cheerful friendly staff. Near to pleasant beach, Post Office and local shops. Some parts of the building smelt of smoking which is unpleasant. Being on the top floor with no lift was a little challenging with heavy luggage.
- Anthony (6/5): Adequate stay - Staff friendly position on the coast path very good The whole property felt tired
- Eadaoin Ni (10/5): -
- Adam (10/5): -
- Tina (8/5): Good nights stay - Location. Close to the Coastal Path. Good breakfast. Could do with updating the kettle.
Shower went hot and cold.
- Kristina (9/5): Enjoyed it! - Perfect, close to the railwaystation. I had a room with a sea view. The staff was very friendly and gave me lots of advice for my visit. The breakfast was nice. The pub at the bottom floor was lively and friendly.
- Paolo (8/5): really good, very accommodating as we arrived very late. - location was great as we travelled back from Ireland, floorboard was very creaky, and clocks in room needs battery
- Tara (10/5): Traditional inn with warm atmosphere and charm - I loved staying at the Glendower Hotel! It is an old inn with light, breezy rooms upstairs and a charming pub downstairs. The staff are kind and welcoming - after spending some time in the pub chatting with the bar tending staff and some of the regular customers, in the best of ways I almost felt like I was staying in a home rather than a hotel. The room itself was quiet, clean and comfy. In the mornings the owner makes breakfast, which was delicious. The location is perfect for anyone walking on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. I highly recommend!

- Andrew (10/5): - Just very good clean and very nice people Nothing
- Williams (9/5): I had a warm welcome off the ferry, and woke up to a view of beautiful Fishguard Bay - The Glendower is an historical landmark in Goodwick. Long may it continue! Sausage might have been meatier.

- Michael (10/5): Idiosyncratic interlude - It was quirky and rather old-fashioned but far more enjoyable than a Premier Inn. The breakfast was good - the scrambled eggs were superb. It was a bit pricey

- Charles (10/5): - Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.

- brendan (9/5): -
- Thomas (10/5): - The location was the best. Close to everything
- Severin (9/5): -
- Ann (10/5): Great spot to enjoy the area. - Great location to do some walking along the coastal path. Bus stops right across the street so was very convenient. Staff was great and felt like family. Groceries a short walk away. Nothing
- Olivier (7/5): - Good place to visit the sera
- Kimberly (10/5): Just right! - The hotel staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere was great! My room was just right for what I needed, small and comfortable. The bathroom appeared to have new fixtures and was really nice and clean. There was a bit of noise from some troubled people across the street for a bit, but that is nothing the Glendower could control and resolved so I could have a restful sleep. Breakfast was also just right.
- Maria (8/5): As good as they could make it. - Very aged decor, but with excellent standards of hygiene.
Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and polite.
- Theo (10/5): -
- Keane (10/5): -

- Roza (9/5): - Exceptionally helpful night receptionist Many thanks to her No local taxi available after 10pm
- Russell (8/5): Very enjoyable, provided a brilliant base for me and my mates on a long weekend motorcycle road trip - Great value for money, staff all very welcoming, the hotel bar was a bonus as were the locals who used it as a pub.
- Clarisse (7/5): Good - Next to the station and near the coastal path It can be noisy (my room was just above the bar)
A bit expensive
- Bridget (8/5): As above - Good breakfast of choice No facilities for parking, especially as I am slightly disabled
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Celtic (7/5): GOOD PLACE -
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -
- Rasa (6/5): Pleasant - Could be much cleaner. Duvet was very worn. Room very hot, no air conditioner
- Moyra (9/5): Salt of the earth staff. - The staff were all so friendly and welcoming.
The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. For an older premises the place was well maintained .
The breakfast was fresh and hot. We were allowed to stay in the lounge to wait for our ferry.
Very handy for the ferry.
Tesco nearby . The place smelt heavily of smoke when you go in the front door. However the room was fresh.
I think they should get rid of the two notices outside the premises as they don’t give a good first impression and it is not what I encountered. It did make me anxious when I saw them first.
- Laura (8/5): Great location for the ferry - Stayed a night here after a late ferry, great location right next to the ferry port. A good price for two single rooms. Carpark on the street below the hotel Room on second floor was very hot although this was during a heatwave!
- David (8/5): - Great location, good service, good breakfast.
Room decor is a bit dated, with peeling paint over shower, but otherwise a good bathroom with rain shower and light up mirror over sink
- Arthur (7/5): Good -
- Tom (8/5): Convenient hotel for a short stay. - Lovely little hotel with very friendly staff. Very tasty breakfast included 👍
- David (10/5): - Decor a little old fashioned, but very comfortable and lovely staff. Very good breakfast. Great rain shower. Very convenient for the ferry.
- Sheila (7/5): Nice stay in a pleasant hotel. Good location - Good choice for breakfast. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
- Chris (7/5): Good location, friendly staff & locals - Breakfast was good, people we encountered were friendly & helpful. No complaints from us
- Chris (8/5): Our stay was exactly what we expected, very good, as we have stayed in The Glendower before ! - Exactly what we expected, as we have stayed here on several occasions !
- Amos (8/5): Very good -
- Alexander (10/5): Great location and value for money - Breakfast was served plentiful and a good variety. Location was great, ideal for ferry although we visited for the triathlon and it was all within walking distance. They could not do enough and were very accommodating. Sounds cliche but never - great value for money
- Gedvardas (9/5): Superb - Maria at the reception was very helpful and knowledgeable. A very hard-working person. The single bed was comfortable with all the facilities I needed. Breakfast with gluten-free bread on request was good, plus continental included. Pool 🎱 table is a good option for the evening to spend. Location is also perfect, near the car park. It's not that I didn't like it, but I lost a couple of times in a hotel corridor 😀
- Russell (10/5): - Fun place to stay. Quaint little town. Fun pub and breakfast food on ground level. Would certainly do it again.
- Noreen (6/5): - Property needs updating, carpets & curtains & wallpaper /furnishings very old. Musty smell in the property plus smokers right outside front door with cigarette smoke coming in through open door & could even smell it upstairs. Comfortable bed, basic bathroom. Very basic accommodation for £130 per night. Good hot breakfast.
- Christopher (8/5): Friendly atmosphere - Friendly staff, lovely room, clean and tidy, great breakfast. No free parking
- Christopher (8/5): Very good - The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was everything I needed. There were often people smoking outside the front door. The smell would linger on the landing and come into the bedrooms.
- Kenneth (10/5): All we required - Location was near Fishguard harbour so very convenient. Breakfast was excellent and very hot. Marvellous! It was ideal for what we required
- Geraint (6/5): Pleasant -

- Lieschan (10/5): - Lovely place! Yummy breakfast! Pub downstairs was great fun, loads of friendly folks to meet!
- John (8/5): Good but felt rushed in the morning - Breakfast should not finish so early makes the day a rush extend Breakfast time until later Later breakfast time would be much better
- Mulvenney (8/5): Very good -
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- T (10/5): - This property is easy walking distance from the train. It is old world charm. You can hop on the coastal trail, just down the hill and follow it for miles along the coast. The ferry connects here for Ireland. The hotel is older but the staff is awesome and the breakfast superb. I found the room small but cozy.
