• Katarzyna (10/5): Cudowne miejsce! - Super lokalizacja, miejsce zanurzone we wzgórzach, ciszy i pięknie. Rustykalny klimat połączony z wygodą. Wspaniała restauracja i świetny wybór win. Pokój miałam z łaźnią turecką - coś cudownego po 13 kilometrach zwiedzania Bolonii. W saloniku koło pokoju była biblioteka z ogólnodostępnym czajnikiem i herbatkami, a także z ekspresem do kawy. Super wygodne i klimatyczne. I przemili właściciele. Tacy na konkrecie, ale z atencją do człowieka. Śniadanie mogłoby trwać do 12, bo jestem z tych, co późno lubią wstać. Więcej haczyków w łazience do powieszenia szlafroka itd. Może w ogóle szlafroki byłoby super jakby były w pokoju, bo to by dopełniło komfortu.

Największe wrażenie zrobiła na mnie przepiękna panorama rozciągająca się z restauracji, widoki o każdej porze dnia były po prostu zachwycające. Śniadania można celebrować bez pośpiechu, delektując się świeżymi i smacznymi produktami. Kuchnia stoi na bardzo wysokim poziomie, każde danie było dopracowane i pełne lokalnych smaków, a serwowane wina wyśmienicie dopełniały całość. To idealne miejsce na odpoczynek, wyciszenie i doświadczenie autentycznej włoskiej atmosfery. Dziękuję Casa Fluò
• Astrid (8/5): Prima plek en prayingerucht met veel oog voor creativiteit - Prachtig sfeervol met supermooi uitzicht en alles met stijl ingericht. Het bed sliep voortreffelijk en een heerlijk douche. Het ontbijt was ook heerlijk. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding was niet helemaal ok. Te duur voor wat je kreeg en soms duurde het erg lang voordat ze je kwamen helpen.

• Sandra (7/5): Gorgeous place and fab restaurant but a bit more attention to customer service and comfort needed - The rooms at Casa Fluo are lovely - beautifully and stylishly decorated, interesting furniture, comfy beds and very clean. The restaurant is fabulous, with absolutely fantastic views of hills and farmland. Really enjoyed the way Giacomo looked after us, and the restaurant food and wines were delicious. A very good breakfast too (and Margarita was charming and efficient). We would have liked a few comfortable sitting places outside for guests during the day (the guest area under the trees at the back was full of insects). Also both our arrival and our departure didn't go very well - our arrival was not welcoming, with a very long time of fussing about a computer instead of seeing us to our rooms and sorting out the problem later. There was no shuttle all week and roadworks around Casa Fluo, and on the day of our departure our taxi booked by management failed to turn up because of confusion over directions. Given a complicated situation with roadworks, we needed more help and felt quite unsupported and stressed for an hour and a half of waiting. In the end, however, we found the grandmother and she saved the day by calling another taxi and explaining properly to the driver how to get there.

• Frans (5/5): - Voor 8 uur konden we niet ontbijten. Er werd wat klaargezet in de koelkast omdat wij vroeg op pad moesten. Maar voor de prijs van de accommodatie inclusief ontbijt vond ik dat we beter hadden verdiend. De accomodatie was vooral een goed restaurant. Landelijk chique, prijzig, en gezien de afgelegen ligging de enige eetge voor ons.

Super plek als prijs lager was. Ontvangst helaas niet door eigenaren zelf, die we op afstand zagen en heel aardig leken, maar door ongeïnteresseerde dame.

Struttura deliziosa, camera più che pulita con prodotti di qualità in dotazione (dal materasso alle lenzuola fino ai prodotti da bagno). Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato la piccola cucina messa a disposizione degli ospiti per un caffè prima che aprisse il ristorante per la colazione Non abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato il dover scegliere in anticipo la tipologia di colazione tra 3 varianti, avremmo preferito una soluzione un pochino più tradizionale…ma è un gusto personale perché ci è stata servita una colazione più che abbondante in mezzo alla natura e con una vista spettacolare!

• Hannah (7/5): Stunning rooms and setting, but no sense of being looked after. - Stunning location and beautifully designed and comfortable bedroom. Fabulous restaurant next door with a gorgeous terrace, super friendly staff and innovative cooking (we couldn’t understand the poor Trip Advisor reviews) and lovely breakfast with delightful breakfast waitress. We received a very friendly welcome by the mother of the owner but we had very little communication with anyone after then, despite trying several times to ask reception to book a taxi for us when it was clear the shuttle service to the train station wasn’t available. There were various “services” on offer but given our experience with the taxi we suspect we’d have had similar problems accessing those. The receptionist we did encounter at the Casa and in the restaurant sadly was rather unfriendly - we don’t speak Italian which I know doesn’t help but a smile would have gone a long way! We’re not needy guests but the lack of sense of hospitality left a bad taste in an otherwise beautiful place . Only other slight disappointment were the grounds. We’d booked the Casa hoping for a day of relaxation in the hills, with the ability to rest in some nice gardens. The setting was really stunning with beautiful views but the seating options were extremely limited - really only in full sun and you had to go through the busy restaurant to access it.

• Carolina (5/5): Not a fan - Nothing. There were people talking and walking around above our room until past midnight. They were louder before 10pm and got a little better after but we could still hear them. The property said they are unable to do anything if guests are being loud before 10pm. So for anyone wanting to rest, this is not the place for you. If you are sensitive to fragrance, be aware that all rooms have a fragrance of its own, which the property said is "part of the experience". The fragrances are very strong and gave me an allergic reaction (migraine + stuffy nose). I had to remove it from the room. The area is not walkable at all. It's located on a hilly area, with VERY narrow roads that can barely fit one car and are somehow supposed to be two-way roads. There is absolutely nothing to do nearby. There is a restaurant 15 min away or so, but it's very hard, if not impossible, to find parking. Also, one of the main reasons I had picked the hotel was all the pictures they have of outdoor areas, but those are not at the hotel. Some are of the restaurant (which they're not even using at the moment), and some are across the road from the property. I feel like I was tricked by the pictures. Lastly, our room had a sauna, and I really wish it hadn't. As soon as I opened that door, the whole room smelled like mold.

It was a storm when we’ve been there and I wish we would have gotten a little heads up that the roads would be flooded and not safe to drive. Also the savoury breakfast option wasn’t vegetarian which I didn’t expect but it wasn’t a big deal.
• Clare (6/5): Comfortable bed, good location, excellent restaurant, but very grumpy and unwelcoming manager which ruined our stay. - The bed was very comfortable. The room was quite quirky and unique but after banging our heads on the beams a few times it lost its charm. The breakfast was really good, we had a choice of three different breakfasts, we tried all of them (we were there for three nights) they were all good, scrambled eggs, perfectly cooked, fruit, a selection of ham and cheese and homemade jam and toast. Freshly squeezed orange juice and very good tea and coffee. We ate dinner in the restaurant on our last night and it was superb, our waiter was very helpful and attentive and the food was sublime! It was on the pricey side but it was definitely worth it. The location of the hotel was perfect, set in a beautiful area with great views of the surrounding hills and only a 15 minute drive into Bologna, which was also a wonderful city. We were also able to bring our dog with us which was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel. When you arrive at the hotel the entrance is quite shabby and not very appealing. The manager was also not very welcoming and totally ignored me for five minutes when I first arrived. Her desk has a huge computer screen which acted like a barrier between us and this combined with her attitude made me feel like I was just another annoying guest that she had to deal with. She was like this for our entire stay, forcing a smile if she saw us but not once asking if we were enjoying our stay or if there was anything we needed etc, this would have been nice and would have made us feel more welcome. The room was quite cramped with beams everywhere that they had built stairs to go up and over to get from the bed to the bathroom. The beams in the ceiling by the bed were in a position that you had to duck under them to get to the clothes storage area behind the bed and my husband and I both bashed our heads on them a few times. The whirlpool bath plug didn’t work so we had to use the hand held shower head which wasn’t ideal. We could also hear what sounded like rats in the wall behind the bath which was very disconcerting!! The car park was full during the day from about midday onwards, used by people going to the restaurant, and so it was difficult to find anywhere to park especially in the evening after going into Bologna for dinner. Having read on their website that they provided a shuttle service (which we would pay for) into Bologna we thought that would be very useful but when I asked about it I was told they could possibly book me a taxi but it would be difficult. Again very unhelpful.

• Ron (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely room with a view to the garden and vineyard in an isolated mansion surrounded with open landscape at only 10 minutes drive from Bologna historical centre. Air-conditioned room and good wi-fi. Good breakfast with plenty of views from the restaurant's garden. A coffee and tea corner and a library is available next to the room. Late check out. Cheaper and quieter than the city centre, without compromising on quality, if you have a car.

Staff very kind and very helpfull. All staff has done a great job and helped us a lot. If you are having dinner try the house wine (white). The breakfast is very tasty and the coffee amazing. Missing the place already. Thank you very much. We pretty much like everything. Maybe one of the things worth mentioning is the distance between Bologna and the house. However this is not minus. There is a bus who runs on a daily basis until 8pm.

Beautifully designed and decorated rooms and the potential for a great BnB. On arrival there was no one to let us in even though we had spoken to the owner half an hour out. We finally found a neighbour who located the owner's mum (delightful). A good option BnB if you're happy to be left with never anyone around and no communication. The breakfast was simple, the breakfast staff unpleasant and the bread stale. A shame it didn't match the gorgeous outdoor terrace.

I found the staff to be rather unengaged and not that friendly and this gave the place an odd ambience. They did, however, accomodate us with an additional room when I had messed up the booking. • Ewan (9/5): Beautiful scenic stay in the Bologna hills with fantastic local food from the surrounding hills in the restaurant. - beautiful scenic location brilliant restaurant serving locally grown food and produce rooms have a lot of character and are nicely styled and decorated shared kitchen facility and spaces are well equipped and maintained very good breakfast communication from staff wasn’t great unclear what activities were available to do and what services the hotel provided (airport transfer etc.)

• Adrienne (10/5): Stunning, serene, not to be missed ! - Gorgeous ! Unbelievably beautiful and tranquil location with astounding nature views. High quality bed linens, rooms furnished with exceptional taste and class. Very friendly staff, Giacomo whipped us up some incredible cocktails. We also enjoyed a dinner in the restaurant with our stay, and concluded it to be the best meal of our entire trip traveling around Italy for 2 weeks. I can’t wait to visit again! Highly Highly recommended ! We had some trouble with our bathtub, other than that no issues at all!
• Pthlux (10/5): Relaxed countryside hotel - great food ! - Perfect rural hotel for a quiet countryside escape ! The restaurant was excellent and full every evening - you certainly eat well in Bologna. The manager Sauro was an excellent and very responsive. We enjoyed the rural walks and nature in this lovely working vineyard. Whilst only 15 minutes drive from central Bologna - we were happy to have a car to come and go as we pleased. There was a bus option and also taxis - but we preferred to have a car. Parking and the traffic restrictions were tricky in Bologna - so we recommend parking in the Parcheggio STAVECO on Viale Enrico Panzacchi 10 and then walking 10 minutes into the centre.

• Cliff (10/5): This was the perfect setting for a romantic break within easy driving distance of Bologna. The restaurant made a great - Charming Italian villa with amazing views Everything was as we expected
• Ben (10/5): Tranquil stay in the nature - This was our stop between Venice and Ancona to taste a Tuscany view without extending our trip that far. The location has offered great views and a relaxing atmosphere. Rich homemade breakfast with silver service and great views of the valley was to remember and I wish we had more time to absorb more in the library. There was not much to entertain the kids but that was not the promise to cant complain. If you arrive early, it would be worth visiting Florence within an hour's distance
• Jason (2/5): Superb? Hardly. - Our stay - We advised them what time we would arrive; no body there to greet us. The owner's Mom was very kind, helped check us in, but clearly this isn't her job. The room. Dirty. The door to the bathroom is filthy. There are several LARGE scent diffusers, which I didn't think much of. As the smell was overwhelming, I moved it to the hall. When we came back, we knew why they had them all over the place. It smells horrible. The bathrooms are nice. They money on that. The bed's mattress is ludicrously bad; trampoline from the 1980's bad. The linens were not much better. View from the room? Unkept backyard with storage shed overflowing with junk. So romantic. The restaurant? Not open the nights we were going to be there (Mon/Tues). The breakfast? In the restaurant. A cold muffin with a piece of raspberry on top and a bowl of fruit. No exaggeration. No TVs in the bedrooms, which is fine, but the WIFI? signal so weak, couldn't hold connection. Noise level? We were the only guests, but the rooms are below the owner's living quarters. All of this added up to our desire to leave that night at around 11pm. When I told the owner of our plans and what I thought, I was told I was overreacting and that 'a little noise at 11pm isn't like it's 2am'. Website says it has a shuttle to town for $10 euro. They do not. No yoga, no picnics. Recommended a restaurant, but didn't make a res. Just start to finish bad.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome! - Our expectations were exceeded at every level.......from the time we were greeted, in the restaurant, the thorough explanations of their facility, the breakfast service, and the accommodations. Nothing on their web site is overstated. Beautiful setting and grounds. We highly recommend this place.
• David (10/5): - Wonderful property managed with lot of taste and care. Lovely and friendly owner family. Service impeccable. ... and the location is just amazing. 20 Minutes from Bologna city center and you are in the middle of nowhere- small paradise. Loved every minute spent there
