I was told that breakfast was available from 7am but when I left at 7.40 the cafe still wasn’t open. Might be a misunderstanding though.

Had I known this I would have eaten earlier or at the previous stop which had lots of food options. A few places re-opened around 7pm but had no signs on their doors to communicate this. The hostel itself offered an extensive menue of barely edible microwave food.

- Fabio (7/5): Giusto un posto per dormire lungo il Cammino - La posizione e la stanza. Mi ha deluso l'accoglienza, cosa riscontrata anche dal mio vicino. Sebbene fosse inverno, la reception e la cafeteria erano riscaldate, la stanza è stata sempre con i termosifoni spenti. Per fortuna c'erano belle coperte, Inoltre in un primo momento l'addetta mi ha detto che non vi era un forno a microonde, falso, era nella cucina di cui non ero stato messo a conoscenza. Mancava poi un posto per stendere i panni, vi era solo il divieto di lavarli e stenderli in camera. Sulla facciata campeggiava un cartello vendesi, è chiaro che si sono stancati...

- Anita (8/5): - One night stay. It was very clean, and staff helped me to resolve an issue I had with my suitcase. They have a small coffee bar and tables outside which is lovely. (Just don’t order a cup of hot water, like if you have your own tea - you may be met with a scowl.)
