Guest Reviews
- Reni (10/5): - Location was excellent, the casa was full of charm, clean and comfortable.. the lady who runs it was lovely and the communal meal was delicious.. The experience was above and beyond and what I would have expected on the Camino. N/A
- Leo (6/5): Lovely room, take cash if you wish to eat at the hotel rather than the three restaurants in town. - Clean and comfortable. We were told we had to pay cash for dinner so made other arrangements, then were told they’d accept card and were annoyed when we explained we’d booked elsewhere - made for an uncomfortable experience.

- veslemoy (10/5): most delightful - boutique hotel - with a Wonderfull hostess and cook - excellent hostess - gracious -so welcoming helpful - kind spoke perfect English,- room delightful - clean -.
I proper home away form home - The hostess also proved to be an excellent cook - and made the most delicious dinner - and plenty - A proper little boutique hotel - Nothing to dislike - could maybe have been just coffee - or tea served early morning before one started the camino - for the early risers
- Sioned (9/5): -
- JoAnn (10/5): - I had a hard time locating the place, but that was because the name was different on my phone.
- Hana (10/5): -
- Pamela (6/5): Was decent- but expect out of the way from the trail. - Property was clean and beautiful We had to walk very out of the way up and down hills- extended our walk when we were already exhausted. The owner was not as welcoming as we have experienced along the way. Not a very warm welcome. Lacked the extra touch. We were also told to minimize the water and not to wash clothes.
- Sergey (10/5): Highly recommended these amazing people! - Amazing staff, amazing people, working there! Thank you to all of you, your help and your empathy!
- Jerold (10/5): Excellent and memorable experience on the Camino Frances. - Clean, comfortable and convenient location (slightly off main route) on the Camino Frances. Host was lovely, as was her pilgrim meal. Nothing.

- Gutierrez (10/5): - Outstanding amenities and quaint charm. Hostess was impeccable as was everything regarding our stay I was disappointed that I couldn't stay longer. I'm walking the Camino and had a schedule to keep!

The host was wonderful and welcoming and the evening meal the best we have had so far. Really comfortable bed and very clean. Host offered to do our washing. She helped next morning arranging for taxi to medical centre too. Wonderful place to stay. Couldnt fault it

- Guest (8/5): Et spændende hotel. - Et excentrisk sted med spændende indretning. Meget stilfuldt.
- Sarah (9/5): A stunning place to stay - A stunning treasure in a tiny village. The owner is a very elegant lady who provides a warm welcome. The rooms are large and beautifully furnished. The dinner was delicious. I can imagine that it will be extremely convivial when many walking the Camino are there. Nothing! The only reason I didn’t give it 10 was because it was very cold in the dining room. Perhaps understandable as it was the end of the season and we were the only guests. In our bedroom we were able to turn the heating up.
- simon (9/5): Comfortable and plush, loved it ! - Wonderful small hotel, comfortable and well appointed. I couldnt find the lights in the entrance foyer when leaving early before light !
- Lars Goran (10/5): Gracious lady welcomed me and sorted me out with my room and laundry without fuss. Great evening meal - Well maintained and very homely decorated. Nothing
- Rick (10/5): An absolute gem. Treat yourself. Stay here Well worth it - The host is very kind. She ensures a smooth check in and prepares an amazing and elegant dinner.

- Guest (7/5): Comfortable - Comfortable room Quite expensive for Camino walkers but we needed a private place to rest.
- J (10/5): Een mooie kamer in een prachtig huis. Perfect!
- Julie (8/5): Very well appointed, quiet and great place to stay - Large room, windows that opened, communal dinner The pillow was uncomfortable - one, single long hard pillow for a couple. Didn’t work well for us
- Miguel Julio (8/5): -
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Jackie (10/5): - Beautifully decorated. Host was wonderful. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. Easy to get to. There is a bar nearby that opens early for cafe con leche! Dinner was very good but kind of expensive.
- Daniel (10/5): - Wonderful dinner
- Tracy (10/5): Great sleep and recovery while on Camino - It was clean and the bed was comfy! It is located in town and very easy to find. NA
- Stacey Robbins (10/5): One of my FAVORITE places to stay on the Camino! - I love Rosio and my entire experience of this lovely Hotel Rural. It was truly one of my all-time favorite places on the Camino! In a town where the other main albergue seemed really overwhelming, Las Aguedas was so tranquil and thoughtful -- such an oasis in the camino with hot shower and large towels, lovely, pristine rooms, and a delicious Pilgrim Meal made by Rosio herself. I can't recommend this stay enough!
- Christian (10/5): Tolles Haus , tolle Hauseigentümerin, tolles Essen - Alles

- Noelia (10/5): Experiencia mágica - No sabría escoger!

- MARC (10/5): Excelent place to relax and disconnect from everyone - Classic house with old good furniture and a very pleasant lady In the middle of nowhere

- Neil Bainbridge (10/5): Best home run hotel. Highly recommended. - The best of everything thing in this family run establishment. The host was so helpful to our requirements.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (10/5): I highly recommend this rural hotel experience - and that you opt ahead of time for the dinner. - Special experience staying here, beautiful old hotel on the town square. Owner operated, amazing old furniture, clean, cool inside in a heat wave. We had dinner, and the squad was honestly one of the best I have ever had. Good chicken paella, yummy local dessert, superb red wine.
What a treat while walking the Camino.
Thank you to our host x Nothing
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Holly (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (8/5): Charming option, possibly a bit too expensive for pelegrinos - Very welcoming and charming hostess, good comfortable bed/room, and a good home cooked communal dinner as an option - 3 courses (no choices) for 24€, including wine/water. No breakfast but there are two cafes nearby that do breakfast. Nothing; possible a bit expensive for most pelegrinos on the camino (89€- my most expensive night)
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent stay , great rooms, great host, great food.
- Martin (9/5): We’ll work the little extra walk to leave the Camino main path to stay here. - The room was beautiful as was the dining room. Felt comfortable and fancy. The owner cooked the most delicious meal, and catered happily for vegetarians. Only stayed one night.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional in every way from beautiful building, rooms and sitting areas to fantastic dinner and host. What a treat after a long Camino day. Don’t miss this property.
- Rhalleyf (10/5): A gem on the Camino. A must stay! - Rocio is a wondeful host and this hotel is a gem on the Camino.Accomodation excellent and dinner was outstanding!. This is our second time here and recommend to anyone on the Camino, take the short diversion to Ventossa. You will not regret it. nothing at all
- Patricia (10/5): I would love to visit again. - Felt like home hospitality. Super clean and spacious. Evening meal was extraordinary.
- Maria (10/5): Beautiful Stay - All the small touches in this hotel are beautiful. Everything seems lovingly cared for. The woman running it is SO WONDERFUL. She is so welcoming and kind. And she speaks English too, which was not expected, but very appreciated.
The communal dinner was excellent, the paella was one of the best dishes I've had in Spain so far.
The bed was so comfy. And the room was spotless and beautiful.
- Marcos (10/5): The owner is a very nice lady. - Very nice
- Jacki (10/5): Delghtful - Grandeur of home was delightful and owner so welcoming Nothing to not like
- Freaderic (10/5): This is the first place I will book if ever I return to Camino Frances - The house is as elegant as the lady hospitalero. She was detailed and thoughtful in every aspect. It is the best place I have stayed on the Camino so far. The dinner is also the best dinner I had in every place I have stayed. Most pilgrim dinners at albergues haven’t exactly been of good value and I think most places need to give a bit more thought towards pilgrim’s health when designing the menu. This hotel is the epitome of thoughtfulness when considering how to feed a pilgrim so they can carry on healthily. I really appreciate the service, the quality and the thoughtfulness behind everything this hospitalero has put into her property. Mucho gracias. None
- Jennifer (10/5): Lovely stay in this lovely little town! - Beautifully renovated home. Lovely host. Very comfortable. Perfect location. Thank you! It was all good
- Rosemary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Wonderful stay in Ventosa with an excellent dinner! - Beautiful location in Ventosa. Our hostess was friendly & helpful. We had a lovely & delicious dinner. The serving by the hostess was the height of class, and the food was excellent. One of the best dinners so far on the Camino! Nothing to report. An excellent facility!
- James (9/5): Superb - NA
- Olga (9/5): We enjoyed a lot the atmosphere of old house and small village. - Breakfast was very tasty, owner served us traditional cake and fresh orange juice. Place was warm and comfortable, with a vibe of old house.
- Lynda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annmarie (10/5): Hotel Rural Las Aguedas - A Home away from Home! - Our lovely hostess greeted us upon arrival, invited us to remove our footwear and stow our trekking poles, and led us to our rooms. We were four travelling together, so we had two rooms with private baths. The floors were gleaming and the rooms charming. The whole house was spotless. On our floor was a sitting room where we enjoyed relaxing and visiting together after a shared pilgrim meal. The dinner was prepared by a chef and served by the hostess herself. There were two other women at the table besides ourselves; it was delightful to dine together and to get to know these two pilgrims who were from Taiwan and walking the entirety of the Camino. The salad was, we agreed, one of the best we had ever eaten, fresh and flavorful, and the meal [paella] delicious. The meal was Euro 22 and worth every penny, for this was our first day walking the Camino and we appreciated the quality of the food, and the fact we did not have to walk any further!! I would definitely recommend Hotel Rural Las Aguedas in Ventosa! Such a wonderful place! Such a kind and caring proprietress! I have no complaints!
- Pat (10/5): The Senora treated us well and the dinner was fantastic! - Location
- Paudge (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast was lovely, brought to our table. Very reasonable at 10 euro. Room was beautiful with lovely shuttered windows. The pool was very welcome on a hot evening, having walked 20+ kms on the Camino. I would highly recommend this hotel. Nothing
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - The rooms were great. Loved the dinner. Staff did a great job. My laundry was done quickly & delivered to me. No complaints
- Maria (4/5): Over priced motel! - The quaint town. Clean The staff attitude, no amenities whatsoever, not even fresh coffee. Wrote to the proprietor that I could not climb stairs due to a surgery she claimed to put me on the first floor but failed to tell me there were three flights of stairs! The menu for the only meal was for a fee and I was not able to eat it. Not even soap was provided. An over priced motel. Cat was roaming around in allergic to cats. Brought all of this to her attention and she could care less!!!
- John (9/5): Superb - Fantastic dinner served by the owner/host. One of the best meals we had on The Camino. Owner could not have been more helpful. Beautiful living room to relax in. All was good. No issues
