• IWEN.Y (9/5): Good - The cat comes to wake me up every morning. I’m glad I can have a private room at this price. It’s about a five-minute walk from the station, so it’s convenient to go anywhere in the city. The owner is very friendly. The shower room is small. The mattress on the bed is old.
• Braden (8/5): Great budget option - The owners that work there (mother and daughter) are so lovely, friendly and helpful I'd stay here again just for them. Air conditioning works really well. A nice cat to keep you company. Probably not an issue for everyone, but if you're a light sleeper like me, you can be kept awake by other guests turning on the communal lights and using the kitchenettes late at night.

Few minutes walk to metro station Avlabari, which is also starting point of daily tours or bus to Yerevan. Also it's not that far from Old Tbilisi and city centre. The location of the guest house is perfect (quiet but still very central). It's very nice to hang out in the yard and drink some tea or coffee. Overall I felt very welcome here and would definitely come again. The shared bathrooms are very small, but considering the price of the budget room it is still great value for money.

• Hustler81 (3/5): Guest House Nise - Fantastic host! I had multiple issues during my stay. The room I occupied was not clean and had some random stuff inside the cabinet which is supposed to be used for the guest. The floor had a slight slant that caused you to feel of losing balance. The bed was old with no cushion and felt like sleeping on the floor. The shared shower with the toilet was not up to standards due toilet being the old-fashioned squat as you poop. This style of shower/toilet could pose a risk of injuries to guests if they slip in the hole, especially during taking a shower caused by soap. The location is great and as mentioned the host is fantastic and very customer service oriented.

• Kiersten (5/5): You can find much better places for a similar price - Fairly good location, owner gave me tea, cute cat, mini fridge in room It didn’t have a lot of the listed amenities, was dirty, no hot water for shower, looked a lot more dirty and run-down than in the photos, there isn’t actually ac in the room—you have to leave your door open otherwise it’s much hotter inside than outside, the mattress was old and uncomfortable with springs poking into my back, they only accept cash but won’t give change—insisted I give the exact amount, owner came into my room at 9pm both nights I was there when I was trying to rest, the place smelled weird/bad, etc. I was shocked at how bad it was, I’ve stayed at a couple other places in Tbilisi for a similar price with much better value.

The guest house is very conveniently located, it is very easy to find it, there is a cafe and a dining room nearby and it takes a few minutes to walk to the metro station.

• Robert (10/5): Traditional courtyard, home from home in Tbilisi. - Home from home. I stayed two months. In a traditional part of the city, near the cathedral, metro, markets. A pleasant walk down to Rike Park, across the Bridge of Peace and the river to Freedom Square, sulphur baths, cable car to Narikala fortress, botanical gardens, etc. Being in a traditional area, the buildings are old. And the social area is a small courtyard, so more appropriate to summer. And the bathrooms are somewhat cramped. But as an old building it is kept scrupulously clean by the owner, who is something of a house mother to all the guests, generates a community with offers of tea and coffee, and, frequently, decadently sweet, donut style pancakes she cooks up for breakfast. The building is old. Bathrooms are cramped. You are in a traditional part of the city. Understand what you are getting. While the rooms are nicely heated, the social area is open and chilly in the winter. Probably ideal for long summer evenings.

• Sandra (8/5): Very good - Owners are nice, I got every day something sweet :) Location - quiet street, but near to everything (shops, metro, sights). Wifi was working good. Don't expect any privacy, especially if you're staying in the single room. It has an exit directly to the backyard with sitting area where people are having breakfast and spending time. Should you be traveling & working (or just want to sleep longer than 9:00) - probably this is not a place for you.

Place has 7 rooms, and we had 7 different nationalities, awesome people, amazing how the human spirit works. Definitely be back. That I had to leave 😪....
