• Sukkhawat (6/5): - Bed-room and Bath-room is comfortable and enough for 8 people. Kitchen have everything you want. There are small back yard with maple tree and balcony for chilling on second floor. Misleading Information and Last-Minute Switch This is a review to warn future guests. The issue started just one week before my check-in date. When I ask about parking detailed, the host informed me that the location of the hotel/apartment listed on Booking.com was incorrect. They stated the original property was "not ready" and offered an "upgrade." However, the new property ("Momiji Takayama") was not an upgrade at all; it did not look as nice as the photos shown for the original listing, and it was located approximately 100 meters away from the promised location. What is most disappointing is that after reading other reviews, it seems this switch-and-bait tactic has happened before to other guests. I did not expect to experience the same issue. My strong advice before booking: 1. Ask the Host directly if the unit shown in the listing pictures is the actual unit you will be staying in. 2. Confirm the precise location before you finalize your booking. It makes me wonder: What is the host's real intention? Is the original property even operational, or is this a tactic to secure bookings for a different, lesser property?

• Katrina (10/5): Exceptional property. - We were given a free upgrade, which was awesome. The apartment was really spacious. We had the upstairs apartment and our friends were downstairs. There was a lovely balcony/sun room where we ate breakfast. Nice area, closer to everything including the train station. Another comfortable chair in the sitting room would be nice.
• Michael (5/5): Can not recommend - The location is great - in the middle of this little town. You can walk everywhere. The key locker needs an update - very difficutlt to open. The house is very outdated. Smelled like mold in the bedrooms.

• Takky (9/5): Superb - We have stay in another place as the place we book were in renovated. The facilities in Momiji were great, and all the house were good too. Also host very good support and quick reply. We will return visit again if possible. This place is recommended !!!
• Orit (8/5): Very good - The apt was comfortable and clean. The neighborhood was very nice. Self check in worked but best to know Japanese and address finding. Kitchen was great and beds were comfortable.
• NICOLAS (6/5): Grand mais froid donc inconfortable - La maison est bien située dans un quartier calme et dans le centre et les lieux touristiques. Pas de parking pour voiture mais des parkings autour (ou celui du Four Seasons pour les aventuriers...). La location est grande, sur deux niveaux (cuisine, 2wc, 2sdb et 1 chambre sur niveau 1 et 1 chambre + 1 salon/chambre sur niveaux 2). Les deux chambres ont de vrais lits, la chambre connectée au salon a deux vrais lits et le reste est à la japonaises mais avec des matelas mémoire de forme donc confortable. Sanitaires et salle de bain sont très propres et refaites donc très bon point. La cuisine est minuscule, peu équipée (pas de couteau....) et dans son jus (prise électrique à 30 cm du robinet). Le frigo est dans le salon avec un micro-onde. Canapé et fauteuils dans le salon, table basse mais pas de vrai coin repas. Pas de grande cuisine possible mais bien pour le plat de pâtes. Le problème rédibitoire est que la maison est très mal isolée (constante au japon) et le seul chauffage est une clim réversible dans chaque pièce sauf sanitaire, cuisine et circulation. Il fait donc très froid dans toute la maison et il faut mettre les clim sur 30°C pour avoir chaud dans les chambres et le salon.....on finit gelé au bout de 2 jours et c'est très désagréable. On est en altitude donc froid à prévoir même début mai. Et cela gâche au point de vouloir vite partir.
• Laurence (6/5): - Two tech issues compounded by lack of human service: 1) Unable to check in using house iPad, which asked for Passcode not provided. 2) Could not connect to wifi. Was able to "saved, secure" but not connect with either of our two devices. Research online regarding "wifi saved secure vs connect" indicated house router likely needed to be reset. Management non-responsive.
