Julian (10/5): - For the price I have no complaints other than perhaps it would need a better sign outside which would make it easier to locate, especially when you come at night. Just be aware while it’s close to the airport, sometimes the UBeR drivers find it a little challenging to locate it so give yourself some extra time if you are heading to the airport

I came to get a few hours sleep between flights and had to leave at 3am to go back to the airport. I was blown away by the service! I received a text message with clear directions, warning me about taxi scams (which I've experienced before in Lima). And the owner woke up at 3am to make sure I got safely in my taxi. So sweet! I will use this lodging again.

Elizabeth (10/5): - Señor Nancy was so very sweet, allowed early check-in and immediately made me some fresh, hot coffee with toasted rolls and a banana. I had a 16-hour layover in Lima and this place was perfect as it was about a 5-minute Uber ride to the hotel. As others mentioned, the neighborhood seems a little sketchy but I, a solo older woman, walked around for about 45 minutes, had absolutely no issues and never felt unsafe. What you are getting is a room with a bed, no tv which was fine with me as I was not staying there very long and a very clean, shared bathroom. Señora Nancy had a cleaning person who continuously cleaned everything including the bathroom after someone showered. Overall, I would definitely stay there again for a short-term stay. It is quite far from the main attractions you would want to see in Lima.

Expedia did not help us at all, neither facilitated this process but told us that we are on our own. Horrible service!!! We will definitely take our complain further with the federal regulators.

However, the residents are just normal people---women sweeping the sidewalk in the morning, children walking to school, lady selling food at a stand, taxi driver polishing his car, etc. I felt it was a good introduction to the Peruvian culture and am happy we stayed there!

I arrived in Lima airport on a late flight and was able to take the 10 minute walk there where Señora Nancy was still up. The following she served breakfast and then walked back to the airport to catch my next flight. Highly recommend, especially if you need to stay near the airport. Muchss grscias Nancy!!

I was able to contact the owner using Google map phone number. It does not provide FREE airport shuttle. I end up having to get a taxi and Uber pickup/dropoff. The dog was my only issue. It was barking very early morning.
Jeffrey (8/5): Walkable hostel - We were traveling standby during covid-19. We had just arrived from Cusco. We needed good interyand space to figure out plan to get home (USA). I booked this. We walked there from the airport. I paid her $19. We were there for <8 hours. But worth it. We told them we were returning if we could not get on our targeted flight options. We got our flight... barely. It worked for what we needed. Mainly empty during covid-19 but worked in a pinch.

It was our intention to do so, however the property is located in a very dangerous neighbourhood and even the airport cab drivers strongly advised against it. Once he took us throughout the neighbourhood, we saw a bunch of gangs and the buildings were very run-down. We immediately turned around and went to a safer neighbourhood for the night. While I’m convinced the hosts are lovely people, we did not want to take a serious risk with our safety.
