• Tom (9/5): We will rebook again! - We'll definitely stay here again if we come back to Kyoto. Very clean little house. 10 minute walk to the main Kyoto station. Pass many Kombini on the way. Comfortable beds. I'm a 194cm Australian man and the 'single' bed was enough for what I needed! Air-conditioning in every room was a massive bonus. It wasn't clear upon booking that there is a surcharge for the use of any futons, approx 2000yen/futon for the other room. Stairs were quite narrow to get up and down with any luggage required upstairs, but not a big issue. I know it is traditional structural accommodation but it gets very bright in the bedrooms VERY early in the morning. If you like dark sleeping conditions, this isn't the accommodation for you. Would've loved a toaster in the accommodation. Some of the batteries in the handheld lights and remotes were empty.

• Kailey (9/5): Beautiful, modern/ryokan-style townhouse stay in highly accessible location in Kyoto - We checked in for our townhouse at the reception desk that was about a 5 minute walk from the main Kyoto station. They provided a taxi ride to our townhouse after checkin, which was wonderful since we had alot of luggage. They had some nice amenities in the lobby as well such as masks for sore feet, bath salts, etc. The property itself was beautiful with 2 "rooms" (1 very large room separated by sliding doors) and a living room space, 2 toilets, a washing machine, small garden space, 1 very nice washroom with a great bath tub, and a functional kitchen space. Location of townhouse was a safe 10 minutes walk from the main Kyoto station. The location itself was in a quieter neighborhood of Kyoto and within 5 minutes walking distance from Toji temple! They provided pajamas and slippers which were extremely comfy. Loved it, would stay again! We had a group of 6 which was a little bit tight at times solely due to luggage. There was little room in the rooms for you to have a tidy area for your things. A duffel bag and backpack for each person would've been more comfortable rather than half our group having larger rolling suitcases. Our 6th person had a futon in the living room area which I felt was an important detail for the property to mention since it crowds the communal space. The second room was just 3 futon-beds. I think the ideal number of people for this property is 4-5 (2 in the room with the western style beds, and 2/3 in the other connected room). Also I was a bit confused by the location of the apartment when booking prior to coming as I thought we were staying at a different address but that may be user error since I was not familiar with Japanese-style addresses at the time.

• Hannah (7/5): Good to have your own place with kitchen/multiple toilets etc. Location not super central. - I like the professional staff. Nice to have a whole place to yourself. Property was clean and had all the amenities you needed like washing machine and kitchen etc. The upstairs area was very light throughout the night as there are no blackout blinds. There is a bit of an odour upstairs that is not quite fresh. Location is not very handy to main sights.
• Sook (8/5): Pleasant and near to Kyoto Station and bus stops. - The location is just 10 mins away from the Kyoto Station and few minutes away from the bus stop that goes to the main attractions in the city. Suitable for families and group of friends. Not enough hangers or rack to hang clothes since there were 6 of us staying in the house. Washing machine is available but no dryer and no place to hang the clothes after you have washed it.

Excellent customer service and quick communication. We left something at the apartment and they overnighted it to our hotel in Tokyo the next day for a small fee.
• Ling (6/5): Staffs are great, just property doesn't meet expectations. Dryer doesn't work is already a neg. - Traditional Have some odour, that why they used very strong lemon smell to mask it for the first day. Dryer doesn't work. No heater air for the shower
• Becky (10/5): Awesome kyomachiya - Everything was lovely – good location, accommodation was spacious, amenities were plentiful. Everything was very clean and guidance around all the processes were clear. Exceeded expectations. Only thing to watch out for, this rinn location is down a small gravel walkway on the side from the main street. My party arrived late in the evening so it was dark and the building on the main street looked like the one we were expecting so we didn't think to look closely. There's actually signs on the front of the building that say which rinn it is. There's one in the front on the main street, and the kujo fujinoki one is down the walkway on the side.

• John (9/5): Awesome little house near Kyoto station - We were excited to have our own little house in Kyoto for our group of four. It was great to have two bathrooms and two bedrooms; one member of our group opted to sleep downstairs in the living room for extra quiet so it was like having three separate bedrooms. The location is convenient (10 minute walk from the station and just around the corner from a coin laundry - house has washer but no drier so we could quickly dry around the corner) and once we figured out the most direct exit/entrance to the station we were able to quickly travel back and forth. The check in occurs at a related hotel; they let us check our bags before check in and delivered them to our rental house while we were out sightseeing.

• Anonymous (10/5): Fantastic blend of traditional and modern- beautiful townhouse close to Kyoto station. - So much space - excellent for traveling with teenagers- best part was having two rooms for sleeping and two toilets! Luxury.
• Glen (10/5): Most definitely a great place to stay in Kyoto for a family or a group. - The house was very clean and almost everything looks new. Short walk to the convinience store for grabbing quick food. Kyoto train station and bus stops are also nearby. I can hear a loud noise coming from the fridge especially when its quiet at night.

• Jolaine (9/5): A great spacious and comfortable Japanese-style home that's just about 5-10 minutes away from main Kyoto station. - We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the property was, and the fact that we get our own little double-storey apartment space. This place is definitely great for groups of 3 till 5, and feels so comfortable to come home to at the end of a long day. Because Rinn has many properties around the Kyoto Station vicinity, it's easy to get confused as to where to check-in. We had a little trouble finding the check-in property, and was also confused as to which property was actually ours, because the private driver hired by the company directed us to a front door that wasn't ours (our property was the one behind it but the entrance was quite obscured).

• Shuo (8/5): Spacious townhouse but a little inconvenient - The townhouse is spacious. Bedroom located on the 2nd floor, separated from the living room downstairs. The location is a bit far from Kyoto Station. The stairs in the room are very steep, not safe for small children. The only entrance to the hotel is a small dirt road with stones, very difficult to move around with the suitcases.
