- Graham (9/5): Enjoyed our stay as beaches were very close and unit was very quiet. - Views from unit were magnificent and unit very well maintained. Car parking space very tight
- Lyn (8/5): We had a nice weekend at the unit. It was close to everything we needed and was a good size for us. - Location was great. Views was awesome!#! The size of apartment was good. Comfy beds, good pillows and linen.Had everything that was needed for our stay. Was in need a little updating maintenance.
As i said, loved the view from the beachside windows in the living ares but think screens are needed as a safety issue.
The entrance to the unit from the elevator was a bit smelly...think it was a damp smell.

- Alison (9/5): Exceptional views and location, 2/3 rooms very comfortable, a little hot, clothes horse and pegs need replacing - View and location absolutely amazing, and the apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The third bedroom is small and noisy (wind whistling) with rusted roof. The clothes horse and pegs needs replacing because they leave rust marks on the ground and clothes respectively. It was a good temperature for October but I think it would be very hot in December / January due to no air-conditioning. The washing machine is very very squeaky.

- Judy (2/5): Disappointing and not value for money. - Parkyn Place 6 was rather a disappointment. The apartment is getting old and had several issues for us, although, as advertised, the views from some of the windows are great.
The building was half enclosed top-to-bottom in a blue webbed covering over trestles, blocking out half the windows in the unit. The front entry looks derelict and uncared for. After we had paid for and registered with driver’s license and credit card (no cancellation allowed), we were informed that there was no underground parking as advertised, nor any parking adjacent to the building and we would have to access an underground carpark in the second building along the street. We were warned a few days before arriving that the trestles were supposed to be removed starting on 6 May (did not eventuate), but we were never informed that half our windows would be blocked out with blue webbing on the trestles.
The kitchen had an amazing supply of cooking gear, the appliances worked well, although there was a constant leak in the kitchen sink tap. Coffee/tea-making facilities were advertised, but these turned out to be a few packets of instant coffee and teabags, along with an old Moka-pot coffee maker, encrusted and burnt as if it had been in a campfire. The fridge worked well, though the door was scratched and worn.
The living and dining room furniture were great. The beds were a bit lumpy in the second bedroom, and the floors quite dusty behind some of the furniture. Plenty of cleaning supplies, books and games for kids and adults.
The balcony was surrounded with blue webbing and trestles, empty except for a second refrigerator. The balcony furniture was stored outside the wall on a 6th floor trestle. The balcony door was mishung and could not be locked. Outdoors, the advertised swimming pool and terrace were unavailable due to trestles.
Overall, this apartment did not meet our expectations nor was it accurately advertised on Booking.com. Parkyn Place 6 was rather a disappointment. The apartment is getting old and had several issues for us, although, as advertised, the views from some of the windows are great.

- Wendy (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (8/5): Graat location perfect for a family stay - Location was great next to beach and near wharf area . Views were the best Car parking underground was difficult . No aircon . 10 am check out non flexible . Cleaner took hours doing the windows when it was a 30 minute job.
- Nathan (9/5): Great place for a relaxing getaway with a group friends or family. - The view out the windows was inspiring. I love how you can see the beach out one side and the marina out the other side. Nil,
- Brendan (9/5): Superb -
- Margreth (9/5): Would definitely use it again and recommend to family and friends - Without a doubt it was the location...and also the space it provided us The garage space was very poor...and on street parking unavailable at night time.
- Jennifer (10/5): Great get away with old friends - Loved the position and the views were awesome
- Ashley (7/5): Amazing spot, but very hot in the summer. - Great location, incredible views. One key fob, easy access to everything - car park, lift, apartment and pool. No air conditioning. This was my misunderstanding, but I'm not sure I would have booked this place if I'd realised. It was 36 degrees on Friday and the apartment was boiling. There is a strong breeze with the windows open, but that only helps so much in the peak of Queensland summer. We just spent as much time out of the apartment as we could during the day.
- Robert (9/5): Great spot. Walk to everything we needed. No aircon but great breeze. Close windows if you go out. -
- Silvia (10/5): Incredible! We still cannot get over the views…every window had an incredible view. - The views from this property are AMAZING!!! the location is ideal. It was very comfortable for a family like ours to stay in.
- Greg (8/5): fabulous - stunning view
great location
- Joe (8/5): Beautiful - The location was perfect 50m from the beach, and for Triathletes it was 150m from the transition zone! The view was jaw dropping. The styling was a little old fashioned and the parking wasn't the greatest the landcruiser was significantly too tool for the garage I would assuming cars over 1.9 would be tight.
