• Marlene (7/5): - Das Resort ist gut gelegen, nah zum Strand. Man kann Roller ausleihen und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Bungalows sind sauber und gut gewartet. Room-Service gibt es auf Anfrage. Frühstück auch. Ich hab nie in der Unterkunft gegessen, deshalb kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Die Anlage und Bungalows sind simpel, schön aber nichts besonderes. Der Pool ist super und kann jederzeit bis spät am Abend genutzt werden. Leider ist Amed, wie fast ganz Bali, extrem vermüllt. Das Hotel versucht durch die Herausgabe von gefiltertem Wasser (kostenlos für Hotelgäste) den Plastikkonsum zu verringern. Aber ich denke die Resorts vor Ort könnten, in eigenem Interesse, noch mehr machen, um das Problem anzugehen, zB regelmässige CleanUps. Man schwimmt im Plastik. Ich bin nicht ein einziges mal in Jemeluk ins Wasser, weil es zur Zeit meines Aufenthalts besonders drastisch war.

• MURGIA (8/5): Très bel établissement avec un très bon rapport qualite prix. Je recommande le restaurant de l’hôtel. - L’emplacement en face de la plage et le restaurant qui propose une carte variée et de qualité. La qualité de la literie Quelques chants de coqs au milieu de la nuit.
• Aurelia (7/5): Un séjour agréable mais non reposant ! - Idéalement situé en face de Jameluk Bay où vous pouvez faire du snorkling toute la journée. L’environnement est agréable et très calme. Nous avions 2 bungalow supérieurs pour notre famille. Les lits sont confortables mais l’un des bungalow avait un toit en tôle non isolé donc nous étions assaillis par les moustiques. Il ne faut pas non plus avoir le sommeil léger car l’environnement est bruyant le soir / la nuit (musique, chien, coqs à toute heure de la nuit…). Son emplacement est son vrai atout ! Toit en tôle non isolé (moustiques) et le bruit la nuit

• Luce (10/5): Restful stay at Ocean Prana - We had a great stay at Ocean Prana. It was clean, confortable, the restaurant is good. We were able to walk to very beautiful beaches with snorkeling spots and with a view on the volcano ! The staff was very nice and helpful.

• Alice (7/5): - Grande piscine et jardin très agréable. J'ai écourté mon séjour car j'avais réservé en dortoir et je souhaitais finalement plus d'intimité. Contrairement à ce qui est mentionné dans de précédents commentaires, des rideaux ont été ajoutés autour des lits. La porte du dortoir ne se ferme pas à clé et les casiers pour y déposer nos affaires de valeur sont tout petits. Aucun espace pour ranger nos affaires personnelles. Le personnel est plutôt froid comparativement à mes autres expériences à Bali

Chilled atmosphere, didn't feel like a backpackers but also didn't feel very kid friendly. We were the only ones there with kids however it wasn't really an issue other than trying not to disturb all the people doing yoga and meditation! Pillows were very hard, like rocks, and I'm not one to be fussy about pillows! Our double bed was very uncomfortable with a large gap down the middle, however the other 2 rooms our family had the double beds were fine (but still had the hard pillows).

• Jakub (4/5): Health risk - The people were friendly and the place seemed nice and clean at first. But when I saw the pillow without the pillowcase, I was honestly shocked. It was absolutely filthy—covered in mold. Not a small stain, but full-on mold. This is a serious hygiene issue and a complete no-go. I had noticed a damp, musty smell while sleeping, and now I understand why. I’ve been in the tropics for a month and never experienced anything like this. I was actually inspired to come back for a freediving course next weekend—but after seeing that pillow, I’m not stepping foot in that place again.
• Natércia (7/5): Beautiful place near the beach - Very beautiful place, very well located, just cross the road and you're at the beach (where you can do snorkling). The dorms are in bungalows. Ground floor have 4 beds and on upper floor I don't know, didn't check. The towels are free. Nice pool and pool area. Restaurante with good food. The water is for free. There are paid yoga classes, and you can rent snorkling equippment. Friendly staff There's private bathroom per bungalow, but both toilets and showers are open on the roof, so we can listen everything from the room. There are (free) lockers, but they are small, and the bungalows doors can't be locked. There are not power plugs by the bed, neither light, neither courtains (at least on mine, an up bed)

They offer snorkeling trips and you can rent a scooter for a fair price as well there were tiny ants in my bed biting me at night, that was awful, but the staff was very helpful and they changed my sheets as soon as I reported the problem, it didn't happen again. :)))))))))))))))

In the dorm, the AC unit is positioned incorrectly, and only cools the upper deck while the lower deck remains too hot to sleep comfortably. I was also surprised that borrowing some fins for a few hours wasn’t included, I actually chose this property based on that (incorrect) assumption.
• Fleur (10/5): Charming, small centrally located resort with a wonderful price / quality ratio. - What a great place to stay. The food in the restaurant is of great quality and the atmosphere was relaxed in the resort. It is a small resort with less than 10 bungalows and it is located 10 min from the great sun set points and about 10 min from the "real"center of Amed. Rent a scooter and the distances are brought back to zero to nothing. The price / quality is really good. The beds are comfy in both type of rooms. My children slept in the bigger one, the three of them and the two of us slept in the smaller one. The shower is a wonderful experience and the bungalows are clean and have all the necessary amenities. No, it isn't a luxurious and posh resort and that is exactly what makes is really nice and comfortable, but it has everything you need when you will spend all of your time at the beach or in the sea. My daughter left her iPods in one of the drawers and they took the extra mile to get them returned to us once we were on Bali after we visited Lombok. Wonderful and kind service! This is what hospitality should be. Thanks for the great experience! It was just a great experience. Nothing we didn't like.
• Adam (6/5): Pleasant - Great staff, location, food and diving. I have previously stayed in a private bungalow and it was amazing. I stayed in the dorms for the first time and it was terrible. Was like sleeping in a ship. Everything was made of.timber and made noises. I slept on a bunk and if I moved it swayed if the person below moved it swayed. If someone got up you could feel every foot step. It's an amazing place they just need to replace the bunks.

Although we’re not freedivers, we definitely appreciated the setup, the super team taking care of everything, the pool, the yoga space, the restaurant, the grounds & the excellent location close to Jemeluk Bay’s colorful reef. It’s clean, has good host communication, filtered drinking water, and plenty of hot water & cool air. 100% recommend.

• Jonathan (9/5): Rad place to chill - This place is rad - our room was awesome, the pool is a good place to lounge around, hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the meals we ate there were great (and as good value as you get anywhere in Amed). Our initial impression was that they would take their chances to fleece us for trips they are arranged, but once we understood what was offered we realised it was good value and we went on a good snorkel trip arranged by them. This hotel is a value for money gem.

Nice traditional bungalows with outdoor bathrooms! :) nice garden too. We used the washing service which was cheap and great! The banana pancakes are to die for!!!! 🤩 Great snorkelling (safe for families) right across the road in the bay. The upstairs room was pretty hot- no big deal though. We would have liked a fridge in the room to keep our water and chocolates cold.

The place really brings in people who were new to freediving and those who were very experienced. I thought it was a bit noisy on some nights so more soundproofing would be good but otherwise nothing else to say

• Aina (10/5): Great bungalows, quiet and green place - We loved this place, it was super quiet with nice bungalows surrounded of trees and lush. It felt like being in the middle of the jungle yet close to the beach. The bed was big and comfortable. Nice bathroom. Huge and nice common areas. There is a big swimming pool, although we didn't use it (they do the apnea courses there). There is also a yoga area were you can take classes every evening. Just a short drive to Amed beach or around 15 minutes walk. Super friendly staff. There is also a restaurant. We liked everything. Just the stairs of the bungalow were a bit broken.

And tgere are outside showers with view to trees, very nice Bunkbeds in the dorms are very wobbly, so if the other person moves, the whole bed moves.

Ocean Prana felt so safe !

• Judit (8/5): Very good - The hotel is very nicely set up. Great atmosphere. Beautiful decorations. Large choices on the menu. The bungalow we stayed in, the roof needed some reconstruction work (paint on the roof). Shower pressure was too low to have a proper shower.

• Janina (8/5): it s a lovely, cheap doorm. I stayed here for 9 nights and was overall very happy to have chosen Ocean Prana:) - lovely ambient, cute local doorms. AC available! 2 showers and bathrooms for 6 people (never had to wait to get ready). every day the bad sheets would be changed! The access to the water is a minute away. the staff is very nice and friendly. The food is good. I loved the common areas, where you can chill, have a swim, read a book .. in the doorms there was very little space to dry your things out, no space to hang towels. when there are 6bfreedivers there it gets a bit messy. On thursday and saturday there was a band across the street playing extremely loudly until around 23.00. otherwise it s a quite place.
• Marina (9/5): Diving and yoga in a laid back place - The place is beautiful, full of plants, a huge Buddha head (this i found very special), the pool and outdoor area is súper confortable and OMG the yoga shala is just perfect. This place is really worth it for a low budget stay. I missed having a small shared fridge and water dispenser in the rooms or pool area. But no big deal.

I mentioned it to the owners knowing that this isnt something that is their fault. The owners addressed the issue immediately by having a construction crew build a few small fences to keep them out. Incredibly considerate of their guest's comfort. Hugely appreciated.
