The staff first agreed to change our room but once we got down with our bags seem to have a change of mind. They instead put a device to deodourise the room; and promised to fix the bathroom door to allow it to be closed properly. The bathroom door was never fixed. I did find the duvet covers dirty.The room was smaller than expected for 4 of us.

The rooms were filled with amenities and the staff is amazing. Also, the pool/spa takes one hour appointments to rent, but it is open late which is wonderful.

- Laura (10/5): - We had a great stay at the Voco Garden Hotel. The room could have been a bit bigger but it was clean, quite and with a comfortable. Nice bathroom and a window that opens. They got a spa with a little fee, it isnt big but restricted for only 10 people. We were happy with the breakfast, fresh juice and many options. The area isnt special but only a 10 min walk from tbe train station and 15 min into city center. We would definitely stay another time.

- Celine (6/5): Une nuit compliqué dommage - L'enregistrement a été chaotique malgré une arrivées tardive vers 1h du matin. Bug dans leur système informatique donc il n'avait aucun moyen de retrouver ma réservation. J'ai dû patienter malgré l'heure tardive et l'envie de me coucher. Puis impossible d'avoir une carte car le bug du système a demagnetisé les cartes. Il m'a ouvert la porte de la chambre avec son badge donc je n'avais pas d'électricité en arrivant dans la chambre. J'ai dû encore patienter pour qu'il trouver une solution viable C'est moi qui est trouvé la solution. Bref un enregistrement tres compliqué. Après une demande de ma part le matin j'ai récupéré une clef et un geste commercial pour les désagréments causés. J'adore cet hôtel mais J’espère pas revivre cela. En arrivant dans la chambre la propreté de la douche avec reste de cheveux certainement, laissait vraiment au désirer Être plus vigilant au prochain nettoyage.

The hotel staff were very friendly and our room was clean, quiet and we had plenty of space for suitcases and shopping. Didn’t have time to enjoy the spa but that also looked lovely

- ariel (4/5): Un séjour décevant, des pratiques trompeuses et pe - J’avais choisi cet hôtel en grande partie pour sa piscine, qui est la première photo mise en avant sur leur page Hôtel.com. On pourrait penser, logiquement, que cet espace est inclus dans le prix de la réservation, comme dans la majorité des hôtels. À mon arrivée, j’ai découvert avec déception qu’il fallait réserver un créneau d’une heure pour accéder à la piscine et que cet accès était facturé 9 euros par heure. C’est franchement la première fois que je vois une telle pratique. Rien dans la description au moment de la réservation ne mentionnait cela, et je trouve ce manque de transparence très décevant. De plus, le système de réservation de créneaux est particulièrement contraignant pour des familles avec de jeunes enfants. Avec deux bébés, jongler entre les horaires de sieste et de biberon pour réserver une simple heure à la piscine est mission impossible. C’est tout sauf pratique pour des familles, qui sont pourtant une clientèle fréquente dans ce type d’établissement. Pour ne rien arranger, en arrivant dans ma chambre, j’ai trouvé un frelon. Cela pose de sérieuses questions sur la propreté et la maintenance des lieux. C’est non seulement désagréable, mais aussi potentiellement dangereux. Enfin, je m’interroge sur un point : comment cet hôtel peut-il afficher plus de 1 500 avis alors qu’il est ouvert depuis moins d’un an ? Et pourquoi aucun de ces avis ne mentionne cette histoire de créneau payant pour la pi

The garden was a great place to relax with a drink in the evening. Only slight blot was that we had a big cobweb in our room above the desk area which was not cleaned away during our five night stay. So, only 4 stars given for cleanliness. But otherwise, Excellent! Highly recommend.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Chambre et staff super, couac en fin de séjour - Super séjour au sein de l'hôtel Voco-the Garden. Le staff à l'accueil a été au petit soin pour rendre cette expérience inoubliable. L'hôtel dispose également d'un service de bagagerie, super pratique : on a pu poser les valises en arrivant afin d'aller se balader en ville le temps que notre chambre soit prête, idem le jour de notre départ ! Seul couac, le petit-déjeuner du lundi entre 8:20 et 9:15 : une seule des trois machines à café en fonction (l'une avec un problème de "consommables", l'autre éteinte), la machine à jus d'orange à été immobilisée durant toute la durée de notre passage (bac à orange à vider +probleme technique), du coup, comme c'était plein, tout le monde s'est servi du jus en bouteille, et enfin le buffet sucré à peine rempli à peine vidée. J'ai de la chance je mangeais du salé, mais ma conjointe qui mangeait sucré s'est contenté d'un café, d'un pain au chocolat et d'une demi gaufre. La comparaison est sans commune mesure avec le déjeuner de la veille durant lequel nous nous sommes régalées ! Pour leur défense, la personne a l'accueil à voulu nous offrir nos prestations additionnelles en dédommagement. Bon courage au staff pour les vacances.

Par contre très mal dormi car la température est excessive et on ne peut pas la réguler au de la de -3* et on ne peut même pas ouvrir la fenêtre . Pour nous c’est vraiment un problème .

- Lauryn (4/5): - Unfortunately though the staff behind the front desks were kind and polite I cannot fault them - we had a rude waiter and bad experience The food very expensive and not great quality, the steaks were not cooked how we asked, they forgot the steak knives with the steak and the steaks were very tough. The waiter seemed offended I didn’t eat my steak because it was rare and he continued to ignore or be passive aggressive the rest of time. I think this hotel would be a lot better if they focused on hospitality and good food rather than trying to be trendy or expensive, for 3 nights and 2 rooms it cost me about £1000 thinking the pool would be free with the booking only to get there and it’s 9 euro per hour per person which I thought was ridiculous. The breakfast was quite frankly disgusting there were flies all over the pineapple and watermelon tray, the orange juice machine not working, the water tasted of chlorine and the bacon looked and tasted like it had been sat out all night and just reheated. for the price I paid I’m disappointed, the beds were comfy and receptionist polite but sadly doesn’t makeup for the experience.

On a été déçu de l’accueil on avait réservé dans un restaurant pour le dîner , il pleuvait et pas de parapluie ( mais payant bien sûr ! ) !! Pour le départ une seule personne ! Il y avait la queue ! Mais dans cette hôtel tout service est payant !

L'accès au spa est devenu payant !! 9€/pers alors qu'avant c'était compris dans la chambre. Le solarium n'est toujours pas en état de marche comme en 2021. Pas de room service non plus le dimanche soir.
- Niklas (8/5): - Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr modern. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und schön, sowie ebenfalls modern (wie auf den Bildern eingerichtet). Die Terrasse ist sehr idyllisch und der Wellnessbereich traumhaft schön ausgebaut. Das Personal ist bemüht. Die Lage geht in Ordnung. Die Tiefgarage ist jedoch sehr eng und klein mit wenig Stellplätzen. Das Frühstück war gut mit viel Auswahl und frischem Buffet (Gegen 10Uhr ist viel los). Nachfolgend ein paar negative Dinge: Leider haben mehrere Funktionen wie z.B. die Whirlpooldüsen im hinteren Bereich des Pools nicht funktioniert. Für den Wellnessbereich zahlt man einen Aufpreis von 9€/p.P./h. Ein paar Abnutzungsspuren waren im Zimmer sichtbar (Wand, Kleiderhaken). Die Minibar hat leider nicht gut gekühlt, erst am nächsten Tag waren die Getränke kalt (zu spät). Der CheckIn Service per Mail vorab hat leider nicht funktioniert, sowie die darin hinzugebuchten Extras wurden nicht erfasst und somit auch nicht umgesetzt.

- M (8/5): Comfortable clean hotel - The hotel was very modern and clean and the room.was VERY spacious. The bathroom was lovely and the water hot. The bed was big and comfy and the room was quiet. The staff were helpful and the breakfast good. On the down side my husband had to pay to use the swimming pool and spa however both saunas ( which was what he wanted to use ) were not in use. I was a little disappointed that sport was not available on the bedroom tv. Wimbledon is a huge worldwide event and I could only view it in the bar area where viewing was not always easy
- Florian (2/5): Beau mais surtaxé ! - Tout d’abord en arrivant, on vous fait signer une décharge de garantie, il faut présenter sa carte d’identité, donner les numéros ensuite on vous demande votre carte bancaire ou à défaut 150€ de caution en espèces toujours pour cette même garantie. Le spa n’est pas inclus dans la nuit et de plus il faut le réserver à l’avance. Pour finir on vous annonce à 120€ l’accès. Des prix déconnecté du marché et en complet décalage avec le prix de la chambre qui lui est correct. J’ai été très déçu de mon arrivé au point de malheureusement vous déconseillé cet établissement. Il y a d’autre établissement très bien offrant des services semblable et surtout non payant !

- Boris (8/5): Good Hotel in walking distance to downtown. - Friendly welcome and professional Front-desk. Room was 98% clean ( some hair on the floor) Bed very comfortable, linen was Soft and smelt Fresh and clean. Bathroom had everything one would expect for a Hotel with this Rating. Breakfast was OK, I guess the Hotel was full and the Area got very congested! Culinary choices were diverse and up to standard. We enjoyed an Hour in the Spa! It would help interested Clients if you would state that the Spa coats extra and per Hour! If Traveling by vehicle this Hotel is very accessible from the Highway! Walking distance to all the Top Places to Visit! Overall we enjoyed our Stay!

Nice decor and clean room, breakfast was nice, everything was good, BUT our room was so hot even with the air conditioning. In the middle of August when it’s more than 30c outside, we were able to adjust only by -3 or +3 celsius, but even with -3 Celsius didn’t do anything. Our room was so hot and muggy and we were sweating all night. Very uncomfortable. I’m sure it’s a wonderful hotel during cool months, but in summer, it’s very uncomfortable.
- John (10/5): - Had a great stay at the Voco the hotel is very modern and staff very helpful easy walking distance to the beautiful Strasbourg centre we found parking easy outside using the EasyPark app only paid 4 Euros from 3pm to 10 am
- fatih (8/5): - I had to wait 5 hours to checkin although i asked i will wait if it will be ready in 1-1.5 hours. Parking is limited and someone else parked in front of my car and the platform to move the car was not working. If the owner of the car did not leave his phone on display i would have waited hours to get it moved.
