Guest Reviews
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Blake (10/5): 100% going back - The beauty of the house I was the groom and I didn’t get to stay in the master bedroom.
- Brian (10/5): Fantastic - 4 poster beds large spacious rooms. Quite location near town centre
- John (9/5): Great place for just two or a group close to town centre - Good location and facilities.
- Petrick (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (10/5): Good Location, great house and friendly service. - Great location for my work commitments, love the comfort and style of this residence. Everything was perfect, so nothing that we didn't like.
- Susan (9/5): Great accommodation, comfortable beds, and pleasant surroundings. I will be back. - Excellent location for commuting to the different communities within that region. It was perfect, and could not be improved.
- Lesley (8/5): private and quiet - More instruction on where to park and what to do when leaving with key
- Hamer (7/5): Quirky. - I’d left my phone behind with the code, but because the owners live behind they were able to let us in. Gas ran out on the first morning so there were only cold showers. Both bottles were empty so a replacement had to be ordered. No apology.
Spraying “weed and feed” on the lawn on Saturday morning put our companions off using the extensive grass lawns.
- Felix (9/5): The landlady was very helpful when the water in the bathroom stopped working. She switched the pump - The location was great, close to shops and close to many Heysen trail walks.
There was not much breakfast. A few jams and bread in the freezer. No milk,, no margarine.
We booked for 3 , but in the last minute has another friend coming. This was not a problem for the landlady once we paid the extra fee
- Tim (8/5): Delightful - Big rooms, tall ceilings, retro bathrooms
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Doug (8/5): Very good - Beatiful heritage building with spacious accommodation and many period features Needs a little maintenance in places
- Val (8/5): Simply lovely stay and we will be back. - A simply lovely older stately home. wonderfully comfortable beds, fluffy towels and warm quilts made our stay wonderful. There are heaps of basics in the fridge and pantry. It is easy to self cater with all the cooking pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. So much room to move and find a quiet spot if that is what you are looking for.
Capped off with large grounds and a lovely lawn to watch the stars from. A pod coffee machine would top it all off. perhaps an extra TV would be useful especially if you have children. Being an older home the cracks and ceilings need a bit of work.
- Zoran (9/5): Superb -
