Back entry was not locked. The stained bed sheets. No breakfast. Oh and the random person who was lingering in the stairs.

- Toby (8/5): Great onsite staff and service. Terrible online booking company (Booking.com) - The general manager and staff in general were extremely polite, courteous and helpful. The G.M. corrected a mistake made by Booking.com that could of cost me an extra night's expense. Also, I was given a room away from the main street traffic noise just as I had requested when booking the room on Booking.com. Yes, availability did help, motel wasn't busy at the time. I did have to contact the motel to have the room away from traffic. Booking.com did not relay that info well to the motel staff. Several weeks before arrival, on Boooking.com, I moved my arrival date at the motel by one week later. Booking.com sent an email confirming the new arrival date, a slight nightly rate increase, and that there were no penalties for the change. After that, Booking.com failed to, or very poorly communicated with the motel that my arrival date had changed. I was charged extra, one night's stay for the original arrival date that I had changed to a week later. The motel G.M. altered my stay to reflect one night less stay to offset the extra charge. Thanks a lot Booking.com This will be remembered if I ever am forced to use Bookin.com again to save needed money. I will have to initiate twice as much email confirmation from Booking.com to provide a much more specific guarantee there will be no penalties or surprise charges from the place I stay at due to Booking.com errors.

- SCOTT (7/5): Once those issues are adressed, the property will be fine. - It’s location was excellent. Boiler broken. Foul sewage pipe odors. Sullied, dinghy carpeting. Loud, rickety luggage carts that disturbed guests.
- Lauren (1/5): Refused to refund double charged amount - Nothing This motel 6 charged me for my room stay at the location even though i prepaid for my stay through booking. Com. I even made sure they saw it at check in and the guy at the desk said he did. The manager REFUSED TO REFUND THE DOUBLE CHARGE. I even asked for an email to show proof but he refused to provide that info or info to talk to anyone higher up in the franchise. I was also charged an non disclosed $50 refundable deposit. Which was no where in the fine print according to the booking.com rep. I am trying to get booking.com to refund me the double charge since the manager refused to. If that doesn't work I'll have to go through the fraud department of my bank. This place smells and looks like a motel you'd see in a horror movie. The only reason we didn't leave and ask for a refund was because there was some severe weather.

We travel with our pets 90%of the time so the fact it is pet friendly with no extra charges is our main reason for choosing the motel. But this particular Motel 6 goes the extra mile to make it a great stay. Clean, excellent price, pet friendly, and perfect location with easy I-10 access and plenty of places to eat nearby. Everything was very good at this locatuon!

We didn't even complete our stay. We left after a couple of hours when we pulled the sheets down and there was long, dark hair on the sheets (As if they weren't changed from the previous stay). Disgusting place.

Even though Motel 6 does not charge for pets, this property charges a $50 incidental fee. I did not see this in the property description or policies. The fee was refunded at checkout.

It feels like a scary movie. Rooms are decent but need more lighting in there to. They need a lot more cameras outside due to my truck getting broken into. SMH

Lady at desk very rude when we arrived back at 11:30pm, wouldn’t let us in the front door and made us walk around to the side door (which didn’t work) so had to walk to the rear of the property. Not a big deal, but it was just myself and teenage daughter and seemed unnecessary.
