- Felicity (7/5): Affordable - The lady at the front desk was amazing and was really helpful when it was impossible to get a hold of the booking .com people inwhich I was never able too. She was pleasant, jund and very helpful at check in. The sheets smelled so strong of bleach that it made my eyes burn and I could not sleep because of intense smell. I had to put the bath towels on my pillow and over my blanket to dampen the smell. I oukd not sleep all night because of this. When I complained to the guy in the morning he did offer to have house keeper change sheets but that was the end of it. I told him that that might mean another set that was the same for my next night stay. I left window open all day while I was gone and the smell was tolerable but still not pleasant.
- Thomas (7/5): -
- Kathy (3/5): Never coming back. - I have a dietary restriction (gluten) so I used the toaster with my own bread, ate a piece of fruit. The grapes were good. Kasan was friendly and helpful, the cleaning staff are friendly. The reason for a stay is you are not in your home but require a place to have a good sleep, do your toiletries and then carry on with your activities. The good sleep component was not available. The person staying above my room was up all night with their TV on loud. After complaining, the next night was marginally better but basically I had to buy some ear plugs to stop the noise. A large party of hunters moved in right beside me and had a party outside their room (and my room - they had to move their lawn chairs so I could get in). They were drunk, loud and felt privileged enough to not care a bit what other lodgers felt. I complained at 9:30 and the person at the front desk said they were going to let it go until 10:00. They were going to be there the next night so I moved to a different hotel. My brother came to check in the next day and mentioned he knew about the noise complaint. The front staff made it seem as though I was mistaken in my thoughts and reasons for leaving. Well, you try being a woman travelling alone with 10 drunk men right outside your room yelling and using the f--- bomb for every second word with no idea when the noise and drinking would stop, uncomfortable to come out of your room to walk your dog or get the groceries out of the car that had to be refrigerated. He moved to another hotel as well.

- Carolanne (8/5): Staff, price and cleanliness made this a place I would stay at again. - The TV didn’t work well. We would have liked to watch tv but the static of tv made it difficult. Not a deal breaker. The lady who greeted us went above and beyond upon our arrival and had the foresight to be proactive to ensure we were not moved upstairs which I appreciated. We were in Unit 117 and the toilet was VERY low. My mobility and having no safety bars made getting on/off the toilet challenging. Replacing the toilet would be too expensive but adding a safety bar would have been very helpful. Low toilet.
- Daryl (9/5): -
- Alvin (9/5): Your hotel was in the perfect location at the perfect price , thank you . - The reason I stayed at your hotel was I had a Dr appointment directly across the street . So your hotel was in the perfect location at a very reasonable price . The only thing I was thinking could have been better was the breakfast . But for the price of the room, it was perfect . So really everything was perfect

Friendly staff
older, but very clean
plug ins for charging my electronics, there was lots available The room had a coffee maker, but did not offer tea or coffee bags. I would have liked that.
I also would have liked a hair conditioner added to my free offered toilet articles
- Karen (7/5): -
- Katherine (8/5): Wonderful. Nice staff. Repeat visitors. - Location, comfy beds, good spread of a breakfast bar Very loud shower and hair dryer
- MacCalder (10/5): -
- Carrie (6/5): A decent stay in Camrose - The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The pillows were not good, they were so small and not comfortable. The heating was also very uneven in the room. The rooms could also use an update.
- Tyler (7/5): - Price was right for thos type of property Pictures did represent the rooms they are now.

- Dannyll (8/5): -
- Paul (8/5): It was a Wonderful stay , and great accommodations. - Close to everything in town. Nothing. It was perfect
- Adeline (6/5): Ok for one night - The lady at the front desk was very pleasant & accommodating. It was clean, quiet & the bed was ok. The hotel itself is very dated. The heat register was sporadically noisy. I ended up having to turn it off so I could sleep. Fortunately, it wasn't that cold out & there were adequate blankets on the bed. The breakfast was very, very basic but I usually only eat yogurt & a fruit so I had enough.....not so for someone looking for a more hearty breakfast. The lady that checked me in was lovely. Once I turned the heat register off, it was quiet. I'm not being a "negative nelly", just honest.
- Peter (9/5): It was good staff was friendly and it was clean - Outside entrance to the room and a door to the hallway into their room. And personal parking right in front of the room.
- Georgette (8/5): -
- Dennis (7/5): Overall was a great stay. Comfortable room. - Great breakfast to wake up to in the morning. Room was very spacious. I was glad to sit down in the room for a good supper meal. Television I could not figure out the remote control. It was difficult. However I was only there to enjoy a community hockey game.
- Holly (7/5): -
- ALBERT (8/5): -
- Caroline (7/5): - Location was great Older building, sound really carried
- Ken (3/5): -
- Tom (7/5): - Staff were great Small tv
Old towels from previous guests were still hanging behind bathroom door
Bathroom is small
- Janelle (5/5): - Bathroom was very clean. Much appreciated. Breakfast was lackluster.
There were rooms that had obviously been smoked in.
Bedding was stained.
- Gabriela (5/5): -
- Harvey (9/5): -
- Bonny (8/5): We have stayed at the R&R before and this is the first time we have had stained sheets. The hotel is in a perfect ce - Location and staff was wonderful Stains on the bedsheets on one bed so we were glad to have a second bed we could use. A lot of clanging and banging throughout the night that seemed to be coming from the sink plumbing.
- Louis (10/5): - We would stay here again
- Debbie (7/5): - There was a strong perfume smell in the room (I suspect from the cleaning products). It was too strong for us - we slept with the window open, which was possible because it wasn't cold outside. However, even with the window open, the smell was much stronger than we would have wanted.
We drive a hybrid plug in. It would have been nice to have a changing facility at the Inn, or at least suggestions as to where we could have charged. Fortunately, the staff person who checked us in was able to give us access to an unused parking stall with access to a plug in - which was very much appreciated.
- James (10/5): - My wife and I spent two nights at the R&R Inn and Suites, Lacombe, over the course of our grandchildrens' volleyball tournament.
Since we wouldn't be spending much time in the room (the kids' games began early and finished late on both days) we focused more on the price for our double overnight stay in Camrose (lovely city, by the way), than any other factor.
So it was that when we logged onto our Expedia account to find the least-expensive lodging, we discovered the R&R facility near the top of the 'cheap' list. The reviews were higher, averaging 8.5/10 than the other low price places, so we hit 'Enter', and booked.
We were pleasantly surprised by the room, which was a simple, standard two queen bed unit. The room hadn't been refurbished in a while, but everything was clean, neat, and tidy. Particularly, the sink area, which was outside the bathroom proper, which featured a full-size tub and toilet, was spotless--a must for my wife.
Aside from the positive condition of the room, the hotel's front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It's often the case that when booking a room and prepaying online, the establishment's staff isn't as forthcoming with a smile or pleasant demeanour as when you're presenting your credit card at book-in time. But not in this case.
Check-in was a breeze, and super-quick. The lady at the front desk checked our Expedia reservation and simply said, "You're all ready to go, here's your two key cards!"
5/5 stars for R&R!
- Alexandra (8/5): - The rooms are dated but very clean so that’s what matters. Staff are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the bed was very uncomfortable, there was a mattress that had wires sticking out the side and it was topped with a memory foam topper to help but unfortunately it did not help enough. Overall it’s good value for the price but I don’t know that I would stay here again until the mattresses get replaced
- Jean Paul (10/5): - I really liked the room and the continental breakfast. Very quiet place.
- Carrie Anne (10/5): I would stay again and have no trouble recommending it to others. - Clean and comfortable. Building and room in great shape. Staff were friendly and helpful.
- Carlen (6/5): -
- ArthurL (8/5): - Clean areas. Excellent staff
- Lehtinen (8/5): We would return for sure and would recommend it to others.in the future we would bring our own pillows - It was perfect for us with our two little dogs. Easy to bring them outside to areas for them to walk around and sniff. The breakfast was good and was avail till 10 am. Which made it so nice not to have to rush. The staff was great and everything was so nice and clean We only didn’t like that pillows were both quite large. So we both had difficulty sleeping comfortably
- Lee (10/5): - Geeat place. Clean. Friendly.
- Kinley (9/5): -
- Jamie (8/5): - ?
- Slenders (10/5): Super verblijf - Alles oké
- Erin (8/5): - The room was clean and we didn’t find any sign of bugs. The employees were pleasant.
The beds weren’t great and had 4” foamies on top to compensate, and the sheets didn’t stay on the bed corners.
- Wayne (10/5): - Clean, convenient and easy and quick check in!
- Carla (8/5): Weekend with the grandsons - Spacious room with all the amenities. Comfy beds. Good breakfast.
- Juliet (8/5): -
- Chance (7/5): -
- Brian (6/5): - What I didn’t like was other reviews which gave me a false idea of the quality of this hotel.
- Randy (10/5): Great place very clean and great staff - Convenient to all amenities Hard to figure out how to drive in there the first time
- Lisa (10/5): - Friendly staff!
- Alexander (8/5): - Some people may say "dated", I say R&R Inn and Suites has a charming atmosphere that feels comfortable and welcoming. It's a feeling of a time gone by in the great heyday of motels. They are located in a fantastic area with easy access to all the offerings of Camrose.
I enjoyed the freedom of both a private outdoor entrance and hallway access to the suite. Parking is provided right outside your door and reserved for each room, with parking out back for larger vehicles/ towing vehicles.
The wi-fi was simple to access and was quick and high quality :)
The staff are accommodating and friendly, and contributed greatly to the feeling of safety and security here.
Not for the traveler expecting Hilton quality (why are you in Camrose with those expectations?)
R&R Inn and Suites is the perfect place to rest and recuperate in Camrose. If I'm in the area again in the future, R&R will be my first choice!
- Doug (9/5): - Clean and comfortable. No hand cream - not a big deal but I did not bring mine.
- Nick (8/5): Ok --price could be a bit better - Very Basic continental BK Req egg option
- Фесик (9/5): -
- William (10/5): -
- Jackie (8/5): -
- Noreen (8/5): - Close to lots of restaurants and stores.
- Lindsay (6/5): Great little place! - Great little place! Good value for your money. Staff were absolutely amazing!
- Andrew (10/5): Great location and value, we’d stay here again. - Great location, it’s easy to walk to all kinds of shops. Great value and I always love included breakfasts.
- Jordy (8/5): - If you're looking for a 5 star hotel this isn't the place but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a little small but otherwise clean. Lots of restaurant choices close by. Would definitely stay here again.
- John (6/5): - there is no elevator, so stairs were hard to do. the shower head was small water did not come out good.
- Asbjorn (8/5): It was very comfortable and I would stay there again. - The location was good, easy to find. Staff was very helpful and we were able to extend our stay 1 day. Breakfast was great. Lighting in the room could have been better. The TV remote was hard to operate.
- Cora Lee (6/5): Great for what I paid - The price we paid was great. The beds were terribly uncomfortable and overall needs to be updated. It wasnt falling apart, just old color schemes and carpeting.
- Florence (7/5): Good value and location, but some maintenance issues need to addressed. - Clean, secure, and good price. The room we checked into had no smoke detector, as it has been removed. We were relocated to another room, which was a definite upgrade. No help was offered to move.
- Marc (6/5): - This place was the best value for our money, at least at the time we stayed there (in comparison to what other hotels in Camrose were charging per night).
The photos show the rooms as modern and roomy, however once we got there, we found it small and dated (had a real 80’s feel to it). The bathroom was incredibly small. The door was almost touching the bath when it was completely opened.
The door knob to our room fell off when we tried opening it (this is a huge security risk), so can’t say the place was well maintained. There’s no elevator, so if you get a room on the second floor like we did, then expect to carry your luggage up to your room.
The AC in the room worked to keep us cool, and the provided kettle, microwave and small fridge came in handy for us.
The continental breakfast is as expected. Good thing is that some natural, healthier fruits are provided.
Overall it served the purpose of providing us with a room for the night at a reasonable price in comparison to other hotels in the area. Don’t know if we could recommend it for a longer term stay though.
- Rebecca (8/5): Good stay. - Epically clean. My only complaint was that our room was upstairs. I hadn't realized when booking that we would have to climb stairs. (Bad knees) Everything else was great.
- Elcy (7/5): Excellent location and great service - Everything was as expected, the staff was excellent. We will be back.
- Robert (6/5): -
- Laurin (8/5): -
- Silvia (6/5): - The best thing about this hotel are the staff. Amazing people
- Lee (4/5): - Not enough towels in the room and the room smelt like cigarette smoke.
- Rachael (9/5): - Although the hotel is dated it was very clean. It was a great location to stores in walking distance. All the staff were very friendly!
- Parm (6/5): - The smell in the room
- Margit (10/5): - Wonderful place! We were really happy being there! I would recommend for everyone!
- chester (10/5): - Other than the bathroom being very small , the room and stay was great , thank you
- Jaime (10/5): - An older hotel, but the beds are very clean and comfy!!
- George (9/5): - It was ok.location was excellent.
- Martin (10/5): - Softest bed ever
- Michelle (10/5): - Quick over night for a grad. A little out dated but clean and comfy beds and pillows.
- Kaye (6/5): - Definitely an older location with older furniture etc. But it was clean and the people were very kind. The breakfast didn't provide a lot of hot food options- it had fruit, bread, muffins, etc and coffee/tea. They did have frozen breakfast burritos you could microwave, but with allergies, I was limited to just the fruit and yogurt.
- Helen (8/5): -
- Wendy (6/5): - This is an older hotel, okay to book for a night or two. The area was quiet, this hotel is across the street from the Camrose police station and within walking distance of a Smitty's.
