Guest Reviews
- Ximena (10/5): - Breakfast was delicious the staff is really nice! Kids enjoyed the pool and sunbeds
- Lydia (10/5): - The property was beautiful and unique because they had activities going on in the villa every day. Definitely perfect for solo travelers. The restaurant on the property gave me food poisoning after eating a raw burger from there. Also took like 30 min to get our drinks the first time. We were done with our food before we got our drinks. We did give it a second chance and they had some better options though. I do recommend staying here traffic in the area isn’t bad, lots of beaches and places to eat in driving distance.
- Sawyer (10/5): - We loved this hotel, and all of the activities that were constantly being put on! Definitely geared towards young travellers! Great food, service was alright, pool was awesome, overall would recommend
- Daniel (10/5): - If you’re considering this place, just book it. It was very relaxing, and we could have stayed longer.
- Paul (8/5): - great stay the room was excellent
great staff very helpful and polite
access to area was nice and meals very gopod
we would stay there again thankyou
- Peter (10/5): Fabulous Stay in this Beachside Hotel in Rawai - Very comfortable rooms albeit a little small given that the terrace is the same size.
Due to the abundance of mosquitoes because of the season, unfortunately, we were unable to make any use of the terrace.
There is a small fridge in the room as this wasn't mentioned in the room description.
One small criticism is that we needed to ask for our towels to be changed but once we did so they were changed frequently.
All in all the hotel was clean, comfortable with friendly, professional staff.
The hotel pool area is in a fantastic beach side location with activities on at various times of the day should you wish to partake.
There are a few good local Thai restaurants only 5 minutes walk away on either side of the road and also a great coffee bar 2 minutes away. The main part of Rawai with a huge variety of Thai and non Thai eateries and Nai Harn is about 10 minutes away in a taxi or Bolt. So, great location too
- Kerry George (10/5): - Wonderful oceanfront view and amazing pool . Like the free cabanas and latge floating mattresses use in the pool. Need to have electronic mosquito killing machines to get rid of the many mosquitos there. The activities are fun and welcoming . They should play popular 70 s to 90s music at the pool rather than the peaceful elevator music . Also turning up the music would be preferable.
- Elin (10/5): - This place truly is paradise on earth. So affordable for such high quality accommodation. Will be back for a long term stay very soon.
- Elin (10/5): - This place is like nothing else. It’s a must stay
- Calvin (8/5): - We originally booked a stay in their “compact container cabin” but after two nights decided to upgrade to a larger room. The container (I’m pretty sure it was a converted shipping container) was very small and the bathroom wasn’t very nice at all. It could use a good scrub. The cabin also didn’t include the free breakfast which was surprising considering the price point. The staff were helpful in assisting us to switch to a larger room and we ended up moving to one of the apartment style rooms which was much better although to wifi was spotty at times as we were on the third floor. The breakfast was adequate although I would recommend going earlier as they tended not to refill things in the buffet after around 9:30am even though it ran until 10:30am. The pool was great and the area around it has a lot of good spots to enjoy the sunshine or some food and drinks from the restaurant on site.If you’re looking to work out, their gym is much better than the average hotel gym and rarely busy which was a nice plus. Overall, we enjoyed our stay
- Angel D (10/5): - Very well maintained property, rooms were clean, food is good, and the staff are very attentive and helpful. It is beach front but, with so many other beaches to explore in the area no one seems to swim in this area... but you could. Overall a very good experience, the hotel is near many POIs.
- Areez (10/5): - nice rooms and good view
had ocean front penthouse and 2 bedroom apartment. was massive for just me.
- Deo (8/5): - It was ok, not great but not bad.
Acceptable for the price
- David Llewelyn Albert (10/5): - Everything about this place is 5⭐️ would highly recommend
- Amanda Lindeberg (10/5): Amazing! - Just amazing! My first solo trip, and because of Selina, it will not be the last.
- Shir (10/5): - Beautiful resort with great amenities especially with shared/dorm style rooms. Amazing breakfast and loved the rooftop yoga!
- Verified traveler (6/5): It was okay. - I’ve visited nearly every Selina, and this one ranks among my least favorites. The coworking chairs are incredibly uncomfortable, and it’s disruptive that guests checking into the units upstairs have to pass through the space. There’s no dedicated quiet area, which is a problem when groups get loud. The restaurant service was inconsistent—every time someone brought me a menu, I ordered something, but they rarely offered one, which is disappointing given the room rates. The dorms could benefit from being designated as either quiet or social spaces to better cater to different preferences. It feels like this property operates as disjointed businesses rather than a single location with a unified vision. If I wanted a high-end experience, I’d go elsewhere for better service; if I wanted a dorm, I’d choose a cheaper option. It’s also strange that this Selina doesn’t offer private rooms with shared bathrooms—a popular, budget-friendly choice at other Selina locations, also very popular in Korea and Japan. Fortunately, these issues seem fixable, so I’d consider returning if improvements are made.
- Asha (8/5): Great place for relaxing stay - Pros - beautiful property, food at the restaurant is surprisingly good, information on tours and bikes, clean
Cons - quite remote but I prefer quiet
- Matthew (6/5): Just ok... - The hotel has a great activities programme - that they put a lot of energy into. Tour booking service (although 3rd party) also great and beautiful pool-beach area.
However, location is not great (unless you will rent a bike; or don't like to explore much).
I didn't feel this was great value for money - our room was very small, breakfast was not included and the buffet was poor (and over-priced) on the one day we tried it. I would recommend anyone staying here to skip breakfast and check out Hock Hoe Lee Coffee for brunch instead!
There was construction going on (offsite, but right next to the hotel) during our visit from early mornings during weekdays. There was an acknowledgement notice, but the hotel offered no compensation.
There is a space but a 200 Baht charge to use the steam room.
The hotel does not provide beach towels.
They offer a complimentary "welcome drink" but only cheap options available and you can only go between 6-7 pm.
It was our honeymoon during the stay - the hotel laid out flowers on our arrival - thanks to the cleaning staff who I expect did it. However, given all the above, I didn't feel the hotel went above and beyond to do anything to make the stay memorable and special. Advance notice and a generous compensation (e.g. free spa, service, 20% off room booking) should be given for the construction work.
I wouldn't stay here again. In hindsight I'd stay in Kata Noi or somewhere in the the quieter SE past of the island.
- Lainie (8/5): - Beautiful property on the beach. Not very walkable for street food and shopping. There is constitution on both sides of the property that made it difficult to enjoy any quiet time until after 10pm or so.
- Richard (10/5): - Amazing place to stay!
- Kartikey (6/5): - Its a great place for activities, especially solo travellers would love it but if you are looking for honeymoon time then I would not recommend it.
Service staff is great but its not a 24 hour service. One thing they do allow check in 24 hours which is not stated correctly. They had a construction going on which was little depressing but they kept it to day time.
- Lateefah (10/5): - Great view of the ocean from the penthouse. Christmas and New Years festivities were nice. The pool was great.
- Mariela (10/5): - Amazing experience
- Lucy (10/5): - Fabulous location, helpful staff, nice and spacious room. Loved it.
- George (10/5): Amazing Thai Grace - Okay, so I hadn’t paid attention when I booked the room. I didn’t read the specs of the room. It was small, very small. I couldn’t even open my suitcase flat anywhere in the room unless it was on the bed. Nit a great first impression. The room was spotless though. I approached reception to express my frustration and they immediately went into classic Thai gracious hospitality mode. They showed empathy, courtesy and true professionalism. The manager upgraded me to a larger room. I was willing to pay the extra but the manager declined the offer and simply said they just wanted me to be happy. My new room was amazing and the entire staff ensured that my stay would be memorable.
- Nuriye (8/5): Quiet escape - This hotel is very decent if you are looking for quiet escape , nothing much to do around tho other than kitw surfing if the winds are ok or its the season . Still may not be the best place for it although IKO suggests . I prefer boracay in phillipines . The hotel is very chill lots entertainment good vibes , have to get taxi for activities or see phuket tho
- Hui (10/5): - Stayed at Selina for a week and a half on my own. It was the perfect escape.
I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite, which was very spacious with a kitchenette. Considering the number of guests, the pool was rarely busy and it was always possible to get a nice lounger.
The infinity pool and the beach view all added to the relaxed atmosphere.
As other reviews have mentioned, its not the most walkable neighbourhood. However, there are some great and cheap local eateries within 5-10min walk. And you can get a Grab bike down to Rawai and the seafood restaurants there for 50tbh.
Overall, would definitely love to stay here again.
- Glenn (10/5): - I had a nice 4 day stay in one of the 1BR rooftop pool apartments and everything was fantastic!
- Quinton (10/5): - The Selina was a great hotel in Rawai! The pool area and view were beautiful, the spa was amazing, and the staff were so helpful and friendly!. If you arent renting a vehicle, downloading a rideshare app like Grab is really helpful to get around Phuket. Will stay again!
- Cristina (8/5): - Don’t have a phone to contact the front desk
- Shafraz (8/5): - Great place we stayed at an ocean view pool villa which had breathtaking views.
The beach had different tides which gave us great chance to walk the beach and look for sea creatures.
Only downside was the Resturant always had to call the front reception every time we came for breakfast even though we had breakfast included with our stay. Also the breakfast was average more suited for the back packers who were using the other part of the hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything is very convenient, property is clean and staff is very nice! Good restaurant on site, hotel breakfast is very good also!
- Asmerom (10/5): Outstanding hotel - Great hotel to enjoy as a community. Outstanding view inside as well as see view.
- PHILIPPA (10/5): - It's a great spot
- Jidapa (6/5): - There’re a lot of mosquitos in bedroom. Also, no towel
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quiet surrounding and friendly staff. The trip laid on by the hotel to Patong was memorable We would recommend the hotel to anyone and would definitely go back again. We will always treasure the memoties.
- Mike (10/5): - Really enjoyed our stay. A bit pricey though. We would come back, but may downgrade our room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very peaceful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything about this property was exceptional.
Spacious rooms. Friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast buffets were great and we lov d the location. Lovely and quiet but also great for kid.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I honestly DO NOT understand how this property got such good reviews.... first thing is, When I arrived at the room and sat on the bed, I found a dry and hard as a crystal contact lense on the floor next to the bed..... really...? I had to put a foot towel on the floor of the shower because I really didnt feel it was clean. Also, the room smelled like it had been closed for quite a while. It could have been a great room....we had 2 floors with swimming pool on the roof, living room and even a bathtub. however, I just felt so uncomfortable because it didnt feel clean.
The restaurant by the swimming pool had old broken furniture. It would sink if you sat....
I so don't recomment this place
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great and we enjoy so much. Warm welcome hospitality!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good service and friendly everyone there very nice
- vicky (10/5): Relaxing oasis - Had a lovely stay in Phuket. Enjoyed the swimming pool, live music and good food and cocktails on offer. Thank you Miriam and staff for looking after us so well!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The rooms were spacious and staff were lovely. However, the beach was very unappealing. Breakfast was average and no transport from hotel to Rawai beach. Had to pay every time for a taxi. Not many restaurants near by as well.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Some aspects of the decor was looking tired, and there was always an unpleasant odour in the corridors around the entrance to our room. However, given the price paid, we were generally satisfied.
- Nona (8/5): - Really good and quiet place. Staff is helpfull and attantive. But the main disadvantage is that hotel is too far from touristy spots, no caffees and restaurants around, no beach. only swimming pool you can enjoy which is pretty small and with hot water in it:) good thing that there is family Mart store and pharmacy nearby. Hotel has shuttle some days during the week going Nai harn beach and Patong. also good library with books you can find in many languages. Rooms, Bathrooms are very good and comfortable. in case of taking Thai massage in hotel, dont pay to the person doing it as I had a problem check out time. there was nothing to prove that I paid to her as I had no receipt. so consider this:))) they tried to call and she didn’t pick up. This moment was a bit tough for me and felt so pissed off. the breakfast is combines European and Thai food as well. And it was just perfect.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room of improvement about hospitality of restaurant staffs.
Same situation about towel quality and location of tissue box and lacking of its refill.
- Lucia (8/5): - Hotel has nice modern rooms, but would definitely recommend you getting a bike or car as taxis to and from the beach or to restaurants become pricey once it adds up comming back and forth, hotel does have a shuttle bus that goes to Phuket town ect but if you really want to see the beauty around you definitely would need to get a bike. Hotel has lovely cocktails also ! The only thing it was missing was a beach that you can go swimming in but other than that the hotel has everything we could have asked for and the staff were extremely welcoming a kind 🤗 would definitely be staying here again
- Marc Sonny (8/5): Great resort, ok area. - Great hotel, the staff is very kind and helpful. Rooms are large and comfortable and clean. The area is right off a main road, so depending on what building you stay at you might hear the road noises from your iutside patio. Walking is possible but probably not tge best way to get to a decent beach.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful sunrise view from swimming pool. Super nice staff, clean and comfortable room. Great choice of breakfast food.
- Tiffany (2/5): - Beware! The hotel and property do NOT look like the photos on Expedia. I was gravely disappointed to spend my birthday here. The location is on a bay which has low tide most of the day. When it’s low tide, the view is ugly. The pool is lackluster, the rooms are dingy and dark, feel unclean, the only restaurant open was “sold out” of half of the menu items, the hotel is not located close to anything of note, and the staff was rude and inhospitable. I have stayed in several resorts on Thailand’s many islands, and this is the only bad experience I had. Immediately upon check in, I called Expedia to see if I could get a refund and switch to another hotel for my birthday. When Expedia called the resort they refused to refund my money. I was very disappointed that this resort was nothing like it is advertised. Thank God I only spent one night there before going on to a true five star resort on Koh Phi Phi.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel for our stay over Xmas, however Breakfast could be improved with a more varied selection. Lunch menu and food quality was poor from the main restaurant which ultimately influenced our decision not pay for he Xmas eve dinner and find a restaurant in Rawai for a fraction of the price.
Positives: Rooms were as were the views very clean and spacious. Staff were always accommodating and ready for help. Information provided about the resort and facilities could be improved as well as ensuring that details of the WhatsApp login details are present in every room and that items such as water were topped up without having to request on multiple occasions.
One of the expectations of a hotel of this quality, cost and location would be that hotel transport to other beach and Patong should be daily and more frequent. Currently transport is bi-daily and only once a day.
We decided to hire a car for 7 of our 9 days which was an excellent choice as the resort is quite remote and the surrounding restaurants are over priced and not actually that good. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the resort but would like to see improvements in transportation and dining before we considered staying here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - we stayed in a beautiful villa and would love to visit again.
- H (8/5): - Great property. We maintained and clean. Modern and well appointed as well. A bit overpriced for anything in the room other than 4 small free bottles of water.
Not much outside. Far from most places and cab drivers are all crooks. Would have given 3 stars given location, but doing 4 because of how well maintained it is.
Good for a quiet getaway, but east coast beaches I. Thailand are not the best. Location biggest negative.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Too far and dark - Too far away from everything, the beach in front is not for swimming, no white sand just rocks, no internal telephone to contact room service or front desk, you have to use your cell phone. Limited food menu, dark rooms, horrible pillows and bedding. Too noisy.
- Lavelle (10/5): 5stars - Fabulous stay, beautiful property
- Verified traveler (6/5): It's a resort style. - It's not close to anything within walking distance, such as beach, market or eating area. Taxi flat rate 200 THB within in Rawai area,
- mark (10/5): - Very nice all around. Clean and peaceful great food and pool
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice resort, close to many other beaches in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful.
- JL (10/5): - The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast every morning was AMAZING. Our room exceeded our expectations. The pool is beautiful with a great ocean view, and the resort isn’t far from many other great places, like Nai Harn Beach.
- Roger (8/5): - Enjoyed our stay but found the air con for the room a little too humid. Next time we'll book a room with a balcony. Staff were really good and the breakfasts were excellent. Food generally was very good. The foot massages were also excellent
- Gabriella (10/5): - Beautiful villa! Spacious with beautiful views!
- Peter (8/5): Awesome and helpful staff, arrogant manager - Awesome and lovely staff, terrible, arrogant and rude manager. He is a very entitled westerner and as I have heard, he doesn't treat his employees very well. Hope he will not harass them because of what I just said. He forced me to leave the pool immediately with a very arrogant tone to tie my dog to a single spot during the whole day when it was 33° outside, because he was going around the pool, not doing anything bad. just few meters away from me and I watched him the whole time. It's a pomeranian so a tea cup sized dog. very quiet and friendly. Chose this place for stating that it's a dog friendly place. Definitely not a dog friendly place when the manager is around. when he isn't, the staff will do anything for you to make you happy and let my dog enjoy his stay freely as I have expected since I paid so much for this visit just to spend quality time with my dog on my birthday. Would not advice to go there with your pet, because you cannot expect that the manager won't be around all the time. the manager should realise that dog friendly means being friendly to dogs. He looks like he doesn't care about his visitors and speaks in a very rude matter. Apartment was beautiful though, and I cannot say how much I love the rest of the staff on this place. By the way, don't go there if you want to spend time on a beach. I would not even consider it a beach.
- ALYSSA (8/5): - Wonderful resort, everything was perfect except in the middle of the night ac was timed off and the room smelled moldy. My wife wasnt able to sleep, good thing we spent only one night there. Overall we enjoyed the property.
- mike (8/5): A Good Get Away - overall hotel service is Good, please note that this property has lots of Slope and Stair which is not Handicap or Elderly Friendly .
The F&B need improvement which the Menu offer only limited choices.
- Karis (10/5): all family menbers enjoyed it! - Great place. will visit again!
near to various places. easy accessibility thru concierge service.
great view, tpity that the beach is not for swimming at all.
pool a little small.
big house, big room.
can do more to get rid of mosquitoes.
standard of living a little expensive though.
room's rates, however, is rather cheap.
- Tara (10/5): Simply the best! - What a welcome change from our previous hotel. The room was gorgeous, super clean and had amazing views! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant had great food for lunch and dinner. The breakfast buffet was excellent, can’t say enough good things about this hotel! We are already planning our return trip and we most definitely will be staying at Serenity in the Scarlet suite again!!
- Kou Vang (8/5): Nice place but far from everything - $25 taxi to patong each way. It's too far & yet not isolated from anything. Not worth it.
- jay (4/5): Hotel room felt like a prison cell - Stayed here before and loved the room stayed for a second time and it was very small and tired. Also next door is lots of cockerels which start sounding at around 4.30 in the morning and literally don’t stop. Clearly that’s not the hotels fault but it’s a horrible din.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice and relaxing - A nice place for a romantic getaway. About 30 minutes away from the hustle and party scene of Patong. The rooms are spacious and feeling of seclusion is wonderful.
- Krzysztof (8/5): Great hotel with average location - Pool suite on top of the building was great although swimming pool was too shallow and it was too windy so we just skip it. Great room with many amenities, low water pressure. Other than great it was great. Location not the best.
- M (10/5): Serenity hotel - Fantastic hotel all rooms are suites, massive balconys, beach is not good but the pool which overlooks the sea more than makes up for it, roof top sunbathing all day pool bar is good, nearest bars are in Laguna area taxi outside hotel charges 300thb one way but don't try and walk it's a 7mn drive or 45 min walk, hotel overall was excellent and will be returning next year for sure
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice - Calm property and fantastic view over breakfast.
- Noreen (8/5): Tranquil relaxing - The serenity is a tranquil
Place , in my opinion you need transport to get any where the hotel does provide a shuttle to a big beach and a shopping center , the food is of very high standard , breakfast was varied lots of choice and all
Yummy , we ate in the hotel at least for times for dinner and every time the food was of very good quality
- Catherine (8/5): Nice arrival location - Pleasant stay & friendly service. Good breakfast. Pool with view over sea above average. Gardens well maintained. Quiet area. Would return.
- michael (8/5): Good apart from Wi-fi issues - Nice 1 night stop over good size room no complaints but Wi-fi just didn’t work in the room which happened last time I stayed here which is disappointing despite them re setting my phone 3 mins later it didn’t work again the same thing on 3 devices so a hotel issue
Breakfast spoilt by a large family of Indians being rude & noisy to all staff & guests
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very Scenic - The Hotel is situated right on the beach so that you can watch the waves as you eat your breakfast. The breakfast is delicious and so are the cocktails. The hotel room is clean and very large. We stayed at the pool-side residence and the pool was amazing and the apartment was spacious. The staff are all super friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel & friendly staff - The location is bit out of nowhere. Always got to taxi to get to beaches or shopping areas which can be expensive. But overall the hotel stay was pleasant
- jan (10/5): Perfect location and comfort - It’s worth spending the additional money for a high room or penthouse. Lots of comfort. Air con was fantastic. Staff were very accommodating with only one exception across a week. So probably an exception rather than a rule. Location is much quieter than the very dense areas but still located within reach of everything.
- lauren (10/5): Luxury hotel overlooking bay - Serenity is the perfect name. We were able to sleep in aircon luxury apartment then wander down to the pool for drinks live music and dinner with the bay lapping at our feet. Close access to shops and bike ride to the pier. Wonderful stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful Hotel - Great hotel with great staff. Private pool villa is amazing.
Food was excellent and very reasonably priced as hotels go.
- Pat (8/5): Great hotel if you don’t want to go anywhere els - This is a good hotel if all you want to do is stay by the pool. It’s clean and comfortable, the food is good quality and the staff were very helpful. The only thing that stopped me giving it 5 stars is the location: it’s placed between a busy highway and the sea, and it really isn’t possible to swim at the beach. We like to eat in local restaurants, but it was hard to find anywhere within walking distance. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to Nai Harn beach on two days a week, and there’s a bus that goes into town some evenings, but that is a bit limiting.
- Sap (10/5): Great stay! - I recently visited Phuket and stayed at Serenity Resort and Residences. My cousin and I shared a suite which was perfect for the length of our stay (6 nights, 7 days). The room was clean, spacious and had a full kitchen (stove, oven and sink) with plates, pots and utensils. With our reservation, we selected the room with breakfast option. There was a variety of breakfast items. The staff here is amazing! They are beyond kind and we received nothing less than outstanding service during out stay. I would recommend this location to other. My only complaint is, it’s a little far from the airport but it’s also far from a lot of tourist and large crowd noises.
- PENELOPE (10/5): Relaxing oasis - Very nice and comfortable stay. Staff and facilities were great. We loved the setting and breakfast. Convenient location for many Phuket activities. As we go to Phuket often, we would stay there again to immediately feel that we are on holiday.
- Martin (8/5): Quiet, sloped building hotel, beach front F&B - Nice, quiet hotel, easily missed when driving towards Rawai so just look for a hotel on the seaward side straight after the traffic lights opposite a 7-11.
The guest rooms are built in pairs of 4 storey high blocks, cacading down the hill from reception towards the beach front infinity pools and F&B area - bar one side of the pool and East 88, the breakfast / ADD on the other. Nice landscape paths between each pair of buildings. Not all rooms have sea view. Friendly staff. Easy drive to Rawai beach, Big Buddha, Promthep Cape etc. Allow 1.5 hours + from the airport if driving in rush hour, otherwise around 55 minutes. Rooms are comfortable, large walk-in showers, could do with a luggage rack or bench as the wardrobe has the safe fixed on the low shelf which would have easily fitted a suitcase. There is plenty of space in the room.
- sue (10/5): - Lovely place to stay to relax
- Som (8/5): Relaxing and peaceful hotel on beachfront - Huge room with nice seaview. Hotel staff is very helpful. Sunbeds on big balcony. Hotel is on the main road but high privacy as well. Breakfast is nice.
- David (10/5): Excellent surroundings - makes it hard to leave - I really should have spent more time exploring Rawai Beach, but it was just too pleasant to stay here and have a few beers by the pool. The staff went out of their way to ensure I wasn't missing out on any promotions on offer.
- nick (8/5): Nice hotel, friendly staff for relaxing holiday - Nice hotel, friendly staff for relaxing holiday. Family friendly. Well positioned if you want to do trips to the islands from RAWAI BEACH.
- SuRe (8/5): Great Stay, Convenient, Free cycles, Friendly. - Nice hotel, friendly staff, adequate facilities, good gym, reasonable buffet breakfast. Free shuttle to Patong, & beach. Close to Rawai Seafood Market and Town - can cycle up. Shops opposite - 7/11, best cheap Thai food at Naam Nang Restaurant (you will not regret eating here), weekly local market opposite, laundry and other shops. Enjoy the stay. Only downside is you can't swim in the beach by the hotel.
- Late (6/5): Dusty - Next to an alley with fancy sky bar. Bar staff great. Desk and wake calls forget about it. It ain't happening. Almost missed the flight if it wasn't for pro taxi driver who seemed to be a little too use to the "no wake up call" scenario.
- Samana (10/5): - I love everything about this hotel .. From their services to their team members ... Everyone was so polite , friendly and warm welcoming.. I will definately come here with my friends again. Would surely recommend anyone willing to come in Phuket.
- Lauren (10/5): Best resort // greatest coconut jam - Amazing Time spent at serenity . The restaurant at the hotel was so good and the breakfast every morning was phenomenal . Do you have a lovely staff . We took two tours that the hotel recommended that were both great . The pool was exceptional we would recommend this resort to anybody. It is good for couples families for children. They have the best coconut jam and the ginger water when you first arrive !!!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Terrible Customer Service!!! - We travel 3-4 times in a year & always stay in 4-5 star resorts. We stayed here from June28-July3. We booked the Suite with Garden Balcony. The room&cleanliness was flawless; BUT...They would turn around the situation like it's never their fault instead of taking responsibility for their own mistakes! This place is a five star resort but the Customer Service is definitely a NO STAR! No smiles, rude, no proper training, once a situation becomes abnormal or not routine for them, they become defensive & completely lose the ability to handle it properly & professionally! They also would assume that people who have brown skin or look just like them is also Thai, they just start speaking in Thai while the guest completely non-Thai! Very offensive! Their 3 years in a row Excellence TripAdvisor Awards do not show any excellence in service at all! - Read my complete reviews on Serenity Resort & Residences Phuket Facebook page or on TripAdvisor (July 3rd, by Fransiz).
- Shawn (10/5): Brilliant hotel, with superb hotel services! - Great location (near to Laem ka beach and naihean beach) with free bike rental, delectable buffet breakfast by the beach, complimentary use of kayak by the beach.
The staff were extremely helpful in aiding us in our enquiries.
The spaciousness of the suite accompanied with the comfort of the air-con and the bed made up for the lack of basic necessities such as toothpaste, toothbrush and room slippers which are usually provided for in hotels and resorts. There was an incident which took place during my stay there: we weren't aware of how the "Do-Not-Disturb" system work. Residences have to swipe the 'Room Status' from the default "housekeeping" to "do-not-disturb", or else their rooms will be accessed by housekeepers, REGARDLESS if you locked the door from the inside. I was taken aback to have my things meddled with while showering and it got me freaked out! I feel that this should be explained to residents prior the check-in.
Personally, I feel that the hotel is a little quiet and secluded, I would prefer to have more people going about.
Overall, I find that the Serenity Resorts and Residences hotel was a perfect place for anybody to relax, especially couples and families.
- Sin (10/5): Great hotel for a relaxing getaway! - We felt so well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Didn't even have to introduce ourselves; staff had already familiarised our names even before we got there! Delicious ginger tea at the reception and 5 minutes later we were whisked away in a golf cart to our room.
Room was spacious, spotless and very well laid out. However, we found the bed and pillows quite hard for our preference. A quick call to reception, and they turned the bed into a magical soft haven and brought us large feather pillows. We had an amazing sleep all throughout our stay after that.
The pool area is amazing, and the entire resort really brings you back to nature. You'll find tiny crabs crawling on the restaurant floor, a few cats owned by the hotel and we even saw a monkey. Truly is serenity at its best.
There really isn't much of a beach by the resort; the tide recedes every evening and comes back up in the morning. But the hotel has a shuttle to Nai Harn Beach every alternate day which is a definite MUST DO. Unbelievably gorgeous white sands and clean beach with huge waves (great for surfing) or even just to laze about your day lying on the beach.
All in all, if you would like a holiday for some good rest and relaxation, this is definitely the place for it!
- Lee. R (10/5): Nice clean resort - Comfy bed and pillows, good shower pressure nice and spacious. Like being able to leave aircon on whilst out so come back to nice cool appartment. Breakfast was enjoyable. Nice clean pool.
- David (10/5): Excellent, luxuruos room! - Not much around to see without driving, but hotel eas great (room and restaurant)!
- Katie (8/5): Not too secluded and no time too crowded location - My ideal kind of resort at reasonable price. Like the balcony and spacious suite, and the bath tub. Like the 2 cats that are roaming within resort. Love the seaview during morning breakfast! A decent size 7-11 store that is right opposite the resort. Location is not too secluded and not in tourist crowd area. If i need another relaxing holiday, I would seriously consider staying here again.
