The house itself blends so naturally into its surroundings that you never want to leave this paradise. And when you step into the library, you’re transported into a whole new atmosphere. If you're coming for work, it's best to have a car to get around town.
• Schembri (7/5): Bello e immerso nella natura - La colazione buona ma abbastanza cara per ciò che viene offerto (ad esempio non si ha varietà di brioches, una sola e vuota). Non è a buffet. Salumi e formaggi vengono considerati extra (e costosi anche quelli), oltre i 12 euro che già si pagano. Il giardino, uno dei punti di forza della struttura, era abbastanza trascurato e non sufficientemente manutenzionato. Le sdraio sporche, i posaceneri non svuotati dall'acqua piovana e dal precedente utilizzo, l'erba non tosata. Se si oltrepassa la sbarra della stradina che conduce a vigne e ulivi (particolare che dovrebbe venir scritto a chiare lettere, altrimenti da buoni ospiti si retrocede), la passeggiata è molto suggestiva e, se si viaggia con il cane come noi, l'esperienza diventa bellissima. La sala lettura, l'architettura delle camere e della sala colazione, la vista e l'accoglienza top. Il resto può indubbiamente essere migliorato.

• Christopher (10/5): A relaxing stay in the beautiful hills of Umbria, on an gorgeous property with amazing hosts. - Relais Casamassima is a beautiful property located in the Umbrian hills very close to the city of Perugia. The property is extremely charming with an outside terrace, pool and patio, as well as parking for your car and remote access to the property through the main gate. The rooms are lovely and clean, with excellent bathrooms. Breakfast served each morning is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful with all kinds of advice on what to do in Umbria. We would gladly stay here again.

• Leonardo (10/5): Una perfetta fuga romantica tra i monti dell'Umbria - La struttura è splendida, la camera che abbiamo preso era incredibile, calda e accogliente tanto quanto la proprietaria e lo staff. Un posto che risulta immediatamente intimo e ti fa sentire subito tuo agio. Ogni cosa era curata nei minimi dettagli senza risultare mai pretenziosa ma anzi, tutto era esattamente dove doveva essere. Il luogo in generale, silenzioso e pulito immerso nella natura ti permette di godere di un silenzio e di una tranquillità meravigliosi e, se non fosse che la regione dove si trova è altrettanto bella, non usciresti mai dai confini del relais. Lo consiglio vivamente, sia per più giorni, sia per fare una fuga dalla monotonia della città in un posto che ti fa comunque sentire a casa.

• Siegfried Stuhr (9/5): - Sehr nettes, kleines privat geführtes Haus. Tolle Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin. Sehr romantisch. Die Anlage ist sehr natürlich, und gepflegt. Sehr entspannend und ruhig. Das Navi zeigt eine falsche Adresse des Anwesens. Keinesfalls darf man die Anreise über die Schotterstraßen nehmen. Man muss keinen Sportwagen haben, und sitzt trotz "Kriechgang" schon auf. Das Auto verschmutzt sehr. Die Gastgeberin schickt eine Wegbeschreibung. Diese könnte allerdings exakter ausfallen. Besser Montebagnolo als Ziel eingeben, dann ist der Weg zum Haus ausgeschildert. Dusche beim Pool wäre schön.

Fast alles war Perfektion, und wenn ich mit der Matratze nicht klar kam, dann geht mir das leider überall auf der Welt so- es gab ein Sofa!

• Anna (6/5): Lovely stay but a little pricey for what it was. - The property was gorgeous and the staff were friendly. The rooms very spacious and comfortable to open suitcases and share with friends. The bed wasn't the most comfortable for me but everyone has a different personal preference for sleep and my friends all said they slept well! We didn't realize breakfast was not included so that charge surprised us at the end. Wish the facility did more to tell us that was the case other than a single message sent through booking.com. Ideally it would be listed on the booking site more clearly and the hosts could have reminded us when we arrived and she told us about breakfast. Because the property is so isolated you don't really have a ton of food options unless you plan so just something to keep in mind when booking.
