- Children 1 year old and younger stay free when occupying the parent or guardian's room, using existing bedding.
- The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file.
- Set meals are served in guestrooms only (no menus or public dining).

- Austin (10/5): - This was our best stay in all of Japan. A truly authentic experience with an amazing lobby, beautiful rooms, fantastic staff, super clean, and a fully-stocked lobby and game room, so you will never be bored! I would definitely come back!

- Sleiman (6/5): - This place is not comfortable. The Onsen was really small. The common areas had a strong odor of cat urine. The staff we interacted most was inpatient, not willing to explain things or answering questions.

- Benedict (8/5): - The building and rooms are a bit dated and not in the best of condition. Some parts of the building are not the most clean, evidenced by cobwebs and dust. The kaiseki breakfast and dinner was fantastic. It was a comfortable stay.

- Natthamon (8/5): - The room is big, everything is clean despite very old. Please beware that you need to notify them if you are checking early or later as there's nobody there after the check out time and check in time. Therefore it might look deserted but it actually very warm and welcoming when it fills with more guest in the AM & evening. Please understand that the hotel is very old but they maintain everything and keep it functional. I love the charm of the old character.

- Netty (10/5): Superbe expérience - Très agréable séjour d'une nuit dans ce Ryokan. Le personnel est tres accueillant et serviable. L'hébergement est bien situé dans un environnement calme a proximité des transports (bus) permettant de faire le circuit touristique de Hakone. Nous avions réservé une chambre avec 2 futons et la demi pension. Le dîner et le petit déjeuner japonais étaient excellents bien que servis tôt (respectivement 18h et 7h30) le service en chambre incroyable. C'est une expérience a vivre au moins une fois durant son séjour. Plein d'activités sont a disposition, jeux de société, origami, onsen de quoi passer une très bonne soirée.
- ? (10/5): - 初めての箱根旅で、猫が大好きなこともあり、みたけさんを選びましたが、何と言っても温泉が最高！貸切温泉でゆっくりくつろぐことができました。大浴場の岩露天風呂も風情を感じられ、とてもよかったです。猫ちゃんは、運良く4匹みんなにお目にかかれ、みるくさんとレオくんはリビングルームでまったりしていたところをナデナデさせてもらい、すごく癒されました。看板猫の役割をしっかり果たしていましたよ。お食事もボリュームがあり美味しかった♪またぜひ行きたいです。

- KAON (10/5): - 숙소는 너무너무 좋았어요! 체크인 전에 짐도 미리 맡길 수 있어요. 맡겨놓고 밖에서 놀다가 들어가면 방안에 짐이 옮겨져있었는데 너무 감사했어요. 온천도 자유롭게 이용할 수 있었는데 숙소내에 구비된 유카타를 입을 수도 있었어요. 덕분에 잘 씻고 잘 쉬다 갑니다.

Did not take a bath as we had come from golf where there was a nice onsen. The hotel provides a nice yukata to wear in the property. Green tea and manjyu was a nice welcoming touch in the room.
- Baerbel (10/5): - The traditional Ryokan experience. sleeping on futon beds in a tatami floored room, wearing a Yukatan, enjoying the hot spring Onsen and above all the incredible meals, served in our room. was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and the service top. So is did not matter to us at all, that the house and facilities were a bit worn out - though absolutely clean. It just added to the special atmosphere. we would love to come back.

It’s my first time staying at a traditional Ryokan and I initially found the futon a little hard to sleep on but I was able to double up using a second one in the closet. The onsen doesn’t look super fancy but it may be the minerals. It was very relaxing and pleasant however and not busy. The room was quiet and the temperature was perfect. They also leave a nice tea set in the room for your use. Customer service was very kind. I didn’t try the in house food but there was good food around the area available including a wonderful coffee breakfast spot named Cafe LUDERA. Additionally there are two adorable and gentle cats in the lobby that appreciate gentle pets.

- Verified traveler (10/5): 하코네 숙소 중 최고 - 방이 깨끗하고 충분한 넓이이며 따듯했다. 저녁을 먹는 동안 잠자리를 준비해주었다. 밥이 맛있고 저녁을 예약하지 않았는데도 사 먹을 수 있었다. 가까운 거리에 편의점도 두개 있으며 주변 경치가 예쁘다. 주변에 다양한 식당도 있다. 온천 물이 특히 최고였으며 개인 탕도 정말 좋았다. 골라 입을 수 있는 유카타가 예쁘다. 모든 직원이 친절해서 여행이 즐거워진다. 세마리의 고양이가 귀엽고 모두 만나서 행복했다. 보드게임의 종류가 다양하다. 다시 또 묵고 싶은 숙소이다.
