• Rugile (9/5): Recommended! Privacy guarantee! - The house was big, private parking, private terrace, all the necessary stuff at kitchen, washing machine. enough space. The provided phone number did not pick up the phone. No proper umbrella at terrace. My husband did not like that other people parked their cars just just in front of our entrance to the house.

• Chris (8/5): Overall a good place to stay in Madeira. - The property was clean, it was well situated for visiting other places on the island, there were a few restaurants, a local supermarket, petrol station and bus stop not too far away. We had virtually all we needed in the house and this was a good place to stay. It was very useful having the garage to park the car. The host was pleasant although we had little contact with her. There were no problems while we were at the property and everything worked OK. It was pleasant sitting on the roof level in the evening (stairs are quite steep). Thank you. We did get fed up with the neighbour's dog barking a lot at night but it was OK if we shut the windows. The property is on the main road through the village so be prepared for some traffic noise, kids and music playing and passers-by. It was not a problem but it was not a really peaceful place if that's what you wanted. We would have ideally liked a second armchair.
• Cristian (8/5): Good place to stay in a small island village. - Very nice view from the terrace. Good equipped kitchen. Nice welcoming person at check in. Cute area outside busy Funchal. Comfortable bed. A little bit noisy from the street traffic. Bathroom’s could use some improvements ( one of them was not even working)
• Alastair (9/5): Clean and comfortable accommodation in a less touristic hillside community - Good staying in a less touristic community. Good views over hillside community and to the sea, including from rooftop terrace. Comfortable and clean. We managed without hiring a car by walking (including levada do norte above and path towards sea below) and bus - rodoeste > schedules > Campanario - gives all the buses that stop just outside the house. Well-stocked supermarket (Fernandes) about 20min walk down the road. People in the community friendly and helpful.

• Florian (10/5): Great starting point to explore the island and a place to come "home". - This spot really makes you feel arriving "home" when returning from hikes, day trips or the beach. It consists of three floors with the top floor being a terrace with a stunning view on the "bay" and the ocean. Also, there is a garage parking spot. The kitchen has everything you need. Overall, we liked our stay (6 nights) a lot and had a really great time. We do not have anything to complain just two things you should know for your booking: - the stairs which connect the floors (and especially to the terrace) are quite steep - we had a rental car during our trip and would recommend this to be mobile on the island (also depends on what you plan to do/see of course). There is a bus stop directly in front of the house connecting to e.g. Funchal. However, it takes time (around 1 hour) and the bus goes hourly but not always as indicated on the schedule.
• Florin (8/5): Very good - Location is next to the road in ramp and the cars passing by are revved up and loud and annoying durring the night.
• Ema (10/5): Exceptional - Great location to explore the island. Its peaceful when compared to Funchal. House was clean and had everything as mentioned. Free parking. Nice view. It has a small terrace in front and a larger one at the top of the building.
