The only downside was we came back around 9.40 in the evening to have a drink in the bar, to find it was shut. However this wouldn't put me off coming back for another stay.

- Robin (10/5): A great birthday stay. - Everyone was so friendly and obliging, from the moment we booked in to the time we booked out, especially as my wife has severe mobility issues which meant special attention at meals and getting about. No problem at all. It made for a very relaxed and happy birthday stay.

- Nick (8/5): - The staff and the food are superb. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, and the food is to die for - excellent value. My only gripe is the cost of accommodation. It seemed very expensive for a very ordinary and small room, and apart from the Library lounge/bar and the dining rooms, there are no other facilities on site (the grounds are pleasant). I only hope the premium price we paid helps pay the excellent staff good wages, and that is why they are so friendly, helpful and professional.
