- Ferreira (10/5): When you just need to breathe and relax from the busy city, with a hint of history and castles. - We were very positively surprised with Porta da Arrábida. The facilities are as the pictures show. It's super clean and the staff was always so kind and professional with us. We had to make several changes to our stay, for personal reasons and again the staff was so accommodating. Being it online or physically. The surrounding area is beautiful and you can walk everywhere, to just sightseeing or to access transportation. Strongly recommend! Nothing to report here.

Aluguei uma suíte familiar para quatro pessoas com duas casas de banho, uma das casas de banho estava fora de serviço, foi me dito que estava avariada e que só na segunda feira a conseguiam reparar, Quarto infestado de baratas e tenho vídeos e fotos se quiserem posso enviar E por último foi me dito que a limpeza seria apenas de cinco em cinco dias, nem se dignaram a recolher o lixo dos baldes da casa de banho E as toalhas de banho foram as mesmas durante toda a estadia , foi de longe a pior experiência que já tivemos horrível mesmo Ainda me estava a esquecer, éramos quatro pessoas e só nos facultaram uma chave

- Ronya (2/5): Wasserschaden wurde nicht behoben, kein Zimmerwechsel möglich - Die Lage war wie erwartet erhöht auf den Hügel inmitten des Dorfes. Die Dorfbewohner sowie die Betreiberinnen des Cafés vis a vis waren sehr freundlich. Zum Hotel: Check in (selber mit Code an der Türe) hat gut geklappt. Vor Ort haben wir die ganzen 4 Tage niemanden angetroffen, ausser die Reinigungsfrau. Ich kann leider nicht sehr viel Positives schreiben… siehe „was hat Ihnen nicht gefallen“. Wir kamen am Mittwoch Nachmittag an. Wie oben erwähnt kein Personal vor Ort. Das Badezimmer war nicht sauber, WC hatte noch Stuhlganspritzer vorm Vorbewohner, sowie Haare im Lavabo und auf dem Boden. Wir haben unsere „Host per Whatsapp informiert. Kurz darauf kam die Reinigungsfrau und hat alles geputzt und erzählt, dass vom Vorbewohner das Badezimmer völlig wasserüberlaufen gewesen sei und sie lange putzen musste. Am nächsten Morgen (Do) war der Boden nass, das Lavabo tropfte, wieder Nachricht an Host (Susana)-> Reiniungsfrau kam, wischte das Wasser auf, versuchte das Rohr zu flicken (offensichtlich Wasserschaden!! Schon länger!)->gab uns Tücher und meinte, am Nachmittag käme der Sanitär. Am Abend war nichts geflickt, jedoch noch mehr Tücher unter dem Lavabo. Wir reklamierten bei Host Susana. Es wäre kein Zimmerwechsel möglich und auch sonst seien ihr die Hände gebunden. Danach haben wir NICHTS mehr von ihr gehört bis jetzt. Unterste Schublade. Wir wurden nicht informiert, nicht ernst genommen, ignoriert. A la „die sind in zwei Tagen sowieso wieder weg“. Ich empfehle dieses „Hotel“ deshalb bewusst nicht weiter. Übrigens es betraf Room Nr. 1.

"No response" Feb 27th, to be safe I decided to request a second room and received a booking confirmation. When reviewing my VISA statement the first reservation shows CAD $ 580.98 the second reservation CAD $ 625.49 a difference of CAD$ 44.51….Would you kindly return this amount to my VISA account......
- Jacob (7/5): Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. - Es gab kein Frühstück Es gab kein warmes Wasser oder erst nachdem das Wasser 5 Minuten gelaufen war, wurde es etwas warm. Gebrauchsanweisung für Heizung/Klimaanlage fehlte. Das Zimmer war etwas feucht. Vom Personal haben wir nur die Putzfrau gesehen. Sie war freundlich aber sprach kein Wort Deutsch oder Englisch. - Hilario (5/5): - O apartamento é bonito e tinha o mínimo para uma estadia breve. Também é comodo e bem higiénico. A 1ª má impressão, foi ver a maquina de café, de capsulas, mas não havia café nem para um café, no entanto, havia açúcar e chávenas. 2º ponto foi o mau isolamento sonoro, ouve-se ruído das canalizações durante toda a noite, bem como o barulho dos outros quartos.

- Olivier (8/5): Trés bonne situation - Tres bien situé, chambre trés spacieuse, cuisine et terrrasses communes. Dommage que pour une chambre aussi grande il y ait une salle de bain aussi petite !
- Julia (7/5): - Die Lage war für unseren Zweck absolut ok. Der Check in verlief unproblematisch. Personal haben wir in den 2 Tagen keins gesehen, daher erfolgt hier keine Bewertung. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, das Bad jedoch sehr klein. Das Zimmer war grundsätzlich in Ordnung, jedoch gab es weder einen Spiegel im Zimmer noch eine Steckdose im Bad. Haare föhnen oder sich fertig machen war dadurch nur sehr umständlich und praktisch „blind“ möglich. Da wir für eine Hochzeit angereist waren, war das besonders ärgerlich. Ein Spiegel im Zimmer und eine Steckdose im Bad sollten wirklich zum Standard gehören.

- Terry (8/5): Lots of good points - Beautiful room with comfortable king-size bed in an amazing renovated property at the top of the old town, just below the castle. So top marks for location, and lots of wow factor. We had no difficulty finding somewhere to park in the nearby streets. Good pizzeria only 10 minutes walk away. Little things really. There was a desk, but no office-type chair. The 'seating area' in the suite only had one armchair for two of us. The electric kettle was 2 floors away. The lift wasn't working. I'm not saying I wouldn't stay again though, there were many plus points.
