Guest Reviews
- anand (8/5): Budget friendly cozy home stay - The ambience, aesthetics and cleanliness. The support from the caretaker was also exceptional. 2 friendly dogs to help you time pass. Great for pet lovers. Fully loaded big kitchen, good drawing room, dining room and guest rooms. But the bedrooms were comparatively small but very aesthetic. No probs there. Only one washroom though 3 families can be accommodated. Goog to have a television as well.

- Srijani (10/5): Lovely Stay - The property is old school and beautiful. There are enough rooms to fit a big group. Very spacious property and very close to the Mysore Palace

- Sneha (8/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay, 6-8 people can stay comfortably in the house - The house is spacious with the air coolers in all the rooms. The house was clean and had drinking water which is a plus.
The staff was very helpful, we asked to change the sheets and tidy the house during our stay and he did it very well. The house had musquitoes and this must be taken care of by the property owners by musquito proofing the house with proper mesh. The mesh in the bathroom must all be replaced as it has holes because of which the musquitoes can enter the house.
The house address is not evident for the taxi drivers, a big board with the house number and address could be hung in front of the house.
- Prash (9/5): Its an old house which has maintained its rustic beauty, perfect place for a nice weekend. - The property is an old house which has maintained its rustic beauty, perfect place for a nice weekend at Mysore. Fits a group of 2 small families. the caretaker was very helpful and always available around. Nothing to mention.
- Sunayana (9/5): Superb -
- Santosh (10/5): A stay back in time. - Easy access and check-in
Clean Property
Old school theme Loved everything
- Parul (10/5): Beautiful place, quiet and peaceful - will definitely come back with more people - Beautiful heritage house, very nicely furnished and decorated. Fully equipped. Nice garden and outside space. Friendly and helpful caretakers. Very good communication with owners I liked everything
- Srijith (8/5): Very good - Location, greenary, house style was good Could have ad AC in rooms, no break fast, no water to drink
- Asijit (8/5): Very good - Great property, rustic and super cool. Highly recommended!
- Nagesha (8/5): Very good - Good location
- Mersel (10/5): It was a wonderful home stay for 5 adults -
- Louise (8/5): Very good - The location was in a quiet residential area close to restaurants and markets for daily needs . We were met at the gate by the property manager upon arrival . He made us home brewed coffee and explained the workings of the home . The garden was a beautiful place to spend early mornings . The house has a drinking water purification system .
- Guenahel (8/5): Very good -
- Gautam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vikas (6/5): Pleasant - The heritage feeling and the location Restrooms are just 1 for 3 rooms
Food provisions are not there
- Mathangi (8/5): We had a lovely stay . good vegetarian hotels are in walkable distance and over all we had a pleasant experience. The ca - Beautiful location. House is surrounded by trees and we woke up to birds calls There is only one bathroom and toilet inside the house. The caretaker however maintains her bathroom outside the house within the compound very neatly and was kind enough to allow usage of the same. It was hot and the air cooler was not sufficient . in peak heat , it will be good if the property owner installs air conditioners in bedrooms
- Channa (1/5): It was a stay we would like to forget - Excellent Location, Part of the property is an Old traditional house with claytiled high roof. The property has only one bathroom. The flush doesn’t work; The second bathroom belongs to the caretaker of the house and with chipped damp unclean walls and claytiled floor cannot be used by any guests. The description and the ratings on Booking.com are overrated
- Rōmal (10/5): Great place. Great value for money. Terrible neighbours. Go there with a plan to cook :) - Location was great, neighbours were not. The complaints to keep the noise down at 5pm was absolutely uncalled for! The neighbours and the constant requests to not play music and keep the noise down. All before 5pm.
- Ilayaraja (10/5): Mysuru Family Stay - Its a nice place for vacation.
Good stay house in Mysuru for family stay.
Bigger space overll house.
Very good kitchen facilities
Highly ventilated rooms
Good and nice small size hotels nearby where we can go and eat. Nice Ambience and Greenery place. Overall its a Good place
- Libby (8/5): Spacious, clean, simply furnished, quiet location. - We have stayed in this property twice. We were a family of 6 travelling together and it worked really well for us. Friendly and helpful staff, nice garden, quiet location. Good supermarket, ATM, and restaurants within walking distance. Nothing, it was great!
- Barry (10/5): A beautiful well maintained old house in a good neighborhood. We loved cooking breakfasts and relaxing in the from sunro - Spacious heritage house with well equipped kitchen and shaded garden. The couple that own the house live in a separate building in the back. 3 separate bedrooms and plenty of space for a family gathering.
- Bhat (10/5): Amazing Stay - The ambience is really amazing. It feels like a different world. Beautifully maintained and managed.Worth the value. The Google map shows a different location, which is a km far away. It would be apt to follow the location given in booking.com.
- hyma (10/5): - nice property, good stay
- Chiraag (10/5): Perfect weekend getaway - Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Last but not least - the house is simply beautiful! No problem ordering food or heading out as everything was quite close by including grocery and electronic stores. That I had to leave :(
- Gautham (10/5): Delightful little property with a charming garden and outdoor area. - A charming property to say the least. I felt transported to a different era staying in a heritage property that has been restored with care. The staff was friendly and made me local coffee in a french press! The front garden was a treat and spent more than a few hours enjoying the tranquility in this bustling little city.
- Nalini (4/5): Disappointing -
- Arushi (7/5): Good - location and the vintage vibes single bathroom for 3 rooms is a bit troublesome
- Deepika (8/5): Very good -
- Kiru (8/5): - It a very Charming heritage property. Beds were comfortable and has a beautiful courtyard. It’s an old house so dated. Restrooms were not hotel standards. Enjoyed it though.
- Mark (10/5): Highlight of my visit to Mysore - This is a beautiful heritage hotel, formerly a family bungalow that was a delight to stay in. It was old India, unfortunately that is getting harder and harder to find. From the moment i set foot in the gate it was heaven. Cute family dogs are a delight. The room immaculate and so comfortable. Breakfast in what would have been the family dining room. The location is a little out of the centre of Mysore, but having said that I walked to the palace in 20 minutes. Autos easily hailed at the corner. Everywhere I needed to go was 15 mins or less in an auto. I left here so relaxed. Mysore is a beautiful city but my wonderful stay here made it a highlight.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Catch a deep breath - A perfect retreat from the hyped city centre. However better to either have everything planned prior if you check in during the afternoon, otherwise wait til morning to catch up with management on sightseeing & visit tips.
- Jane (10/5): Lovely Place - A wonderful Heritage property with just 4 rooms. We spent a few days at this lovely small inn. Our r0oom was perfect, the courtyard was a lovely place to have a late afternoon break and the company of other guests was truly enjoyable. The two fellows who run the place are fantastic... Glad we found this little Inn.
