• Trish (10/5): Great location / break bt ring road & golden circle - Absolutely AMAZING…location, facilities, breakfast, lodging, service. The perfect location- we had just left the golden circle & stayed at this facility for two evenings to explore the Snæfellsnes Peninsula & Westfjords. The faculty is just a very short drive off the main road on a farm. So peaceful, quiet, and beautiful views. Lovely breakfast. Nice supper menu as well after a long day exploring. Thank you so very much!! Nothing. Has everything you need. Shampoo, conditioner, body gel, hair dryer & straightener!!!
• Laurenz (10/5): Angenehme, hilfsbereite und familiäre Atmosphäre. - Die Hütte war sehr sauber. Es gab Utensilien für jeden möglichen Bedarf, falls etwas vergessen wurde. Das Bett war angenehm und der Ausblick fantastisch. Die Managerin des Hotels ist zudem sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns für einen Tag einen Kompressor zur Verfügung gestellt, da wir am vorherigen Tag einen platten Reifen hatten. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist kompakt, jedoch findet jeder etwas und auf Wünsche wird eingegangen. Es wird sich um jeden gekümmert. Die Managerin hilft auch bei der Routenauswahl für den Tagestrip und gibt Hinweise. Auf Wunsch ist auch Abendessen dort möglich, welches wir jedoch nicht benötigen.

We were stuck in the hotel due to the snow storm but the owner provided us very useful suggestion and take away breakfast so we can just stay in the room safely. Really seriously gorgeous rural location. Saga country, so with interesting history. It is hard to find anything to say, except I didn't care for the smell of the soap provided, so I used my own, which is no hardship at all.

• Kenneth (9/5): Peaceful lovely experience. - The staff was so kind. The breakfast was delicious and dinner was very tasty. It’s in a lovely peaceful setting. We got to see the northern lights right from our tiny house deck. Loved the comforters. The orientation of the bunk bed. My poor husband slammed his head into it twice and so we ended up hanging the wool blanket there and he slept with his head at the opposite end. I think a pad added to the side could really help.

• Loralene (10/5): - We had such a lovely stay here! The cottages are adorable, with great amenities. Definitely a step above other cottage hotels that we stayed in. And this property has the added benefit of a lovely little restaurant for dinners and a great hearty breakfast. (The dinners were Ala carte but the breakfast was included in our room rate). The owner and her staff were truly lovely and you could see the care that went into the property. A great option in this area!

Facile da trovare, strada non asfaltata ma non abbiamo avuto alcun problema. Lo consiglio assolutamente. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Colazione molto buona ma un po’ poco variegata, essendo però una piccola struttura può essere comprensibile

The room was spotless and beautifully designed, with so much attention to detail—it felt like every little thing we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided. This was by far the best experience we’ve ever had through Booking.com. The hostess went above and beyond to make our stay special. She not only helped us map out our travels for the next day but also prepared an incredible to-go breakfast since we had to leave very early in the morning. It was one of the most thoughtful and delicious breakfasts we’ve ever had.
• Jan Smets (10/5): Home, far away from home!! - Wij hebben tijdens onze rondreis door Ijsland 8 accommodaties gehad en dit was veruit de beste. De lokatie is wat afgelegen, maar wat is het daar mooi, uitgestrekt en rustig. Het ontbijt en diner waren meer dan goed. Heerlijk vers klaargemaakt allemaal en echt ruim voldoende. Het huisje is klein, maar heel efficiënt ingericht. Heerlijk bed, geweldige douche en twee comfortabele fauteuils!! Je kunt zelf koffie/thee zetten en er is een klein koelkastje. Zeer smaakvol ingericht. Auto kun je voor de deur parkeren. Eigen terrasje met stoeltjes voor de deur en het uitzicht is helemaal gratis!! Dit is wat ik vakantie noem, hier kun je onthaasten. Helemaal niets!!

Die Lodges haben alles geboten was man braucht . Das Essen wird von Gudrun selbst zubereitet und schmeckt fabelhaft. Auch das Frühstück war einfach toll & sehr reichhaltig. Die Aussicht und die Umgebung sind einfach unbeschreiblich schön. Absolute Empfehlung von Herzen.

Excellent host and staff. The area is still being developed and construction going on. Rather expensive may be because of the remoteness.

Todo muy bien pero personalmente y para todo el que se afeita a diario faltaría un espejo ni que sea pequeño sobre el lavabo, no sobre el inodoro que está lejos y es incómodo.

• PMor65 (9/5): Overall, highly recommended – especially for couples looking for a quiet, comfortable stay. - Great location in a green valley at the start of the West Iceland peninsula, about 5 km on a well-kept gravel road. The main building has the reception, dining area and a few small units. We stayed in one of the larger double units just below the road, with amazing views over the valley. Rooms are modern, stylish and very functional. Breakfast is in a small but well-stocked buffet area. Dinner is by reservation (book by early afternoon) with a short menu, but dishes are excellent, well-prepared and nicely presented. Limited wine list, but good quality. The family running the place is super kind and gave us great tips for sightseeing, cafes, and fuel stops. Overall, highly recommended – especially for couples looking for a quiet, comfortable stay. Prices are on the higher side, but very fair for Iceland and the quality offered.

Domek wprawdzie niewielki, ale idealny na dwudniowy pobyt podczas objazdu Islandii. Aneks kuchenny malutki, ale wystarczający do przygotowania prostych posiłków. Miłą niespodzianką były śniadania wliczone w cenę, istnieje także możliwość zakupienia obiadokolacji. Dojazd drogą szutrową, ale równą i w bardzo dobrym stanie. Po południu w recepcji pracują panie z Polski :)

Una stanza veramente bella Il rapporto qualità/prezzo: la stanza è bella, grande e accogliente, la colazione è abbondante, ma la posizione è molto brutta. Il lodge è distaccato dal piccolo edificio della reception (dove avviene anche la colazione) e si trova in un punto che sembra un cantiere con dei piccoli container. Poi entri e ti meravigli per la bellezza della stanza e del panorama, ma i prezzi sono esageratamente alti per la posizione e il contesto in cui si trova. Purtroppo è una cosa in comune con tutte le strutture ricettive islandesi, prezzi fuori dal mondo

It’s a long way from any gas stations, retail, other restaurants, or even paved road. That’s okay if you like solitude, or if it’s winter and you want to see northern lights.

Die Zimmer sind kleine Tiny Häuser mit eigener Terasse und eigenem Bad, alles sehr stilvoll und modern eingerichtet. Kühlschrank, Relax Sessel, großes Bett, Bad mit Dusche und allem was dazu gehört ist vorhanden. Ja das Hotel liegt etwas fern von der Hauptstraße, es ist aber der Geheimtipp schlechthin. Es lohnt sich! Der Ausblick aus dem Bett ist großartig, die Ruhe super entspannend und das Essen abends hier herausragend. Wir hatten 2x den Fisch des Tages und neben einer super lieben und charmanten Mitarbeiterin die uns auch noch tolle Tipps zu West Island gegeben hat, war der Abend hier rundum perfekt. Wir sind erst um 20 Uhr eingetroffen und konnten unseren Essenswunsch über Booking vorbestellen. Nachdem wir schon vor 8 das Hotel verlassen müssen, können wir das inklusiv !!! Frühstück nicht genießen und haben dafür jedoch eine umfangreiche selbst gemachte Lunch Box mitbekommen mit Obst, belegten Broten, Saft und Joghurt. Sensationell! Es gibt einfach nichts zu beanstanden hier. Unbedingt hinfahren!

• Martina (10/5): Eine wunderbare Erfahrun! - Eine außergewöhnliche Lage in einem wunderschönen und unglaublich friedlichem Gebiet. Bei unserer Ankunft mussten wir die ruhige Weite zuerst erfassen, da es wirklich abseits der großen Straßen liegt. Aber es entschleunigt sofort. Jederzeit wieder gern. Am Anfang war das Zimmer sehr kalt. Aber als wir die Heizung eingeschaltet haben war das schnell behoben.
