• Jinling (9/5): A nice stop-over place, highly recommended - Located in a nice and quiet area, the host Alex and Sam are very friendly. Breakfast was great! Great value for money. The town close by Chipping Camden is a hidden gem. The room is rather small for 3 adults but considering the price, you get what you pay for.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Book now. Don’t hesitate. - Location to Stratford and Cotswolds. Easy to find. Good off street parking. Beautifully situated, maintained with kerb appeal and great garden view. Internals, the house that you wanted to own. Staff warm, helpful and grounded. Everything was excellent. Really comfortable bed and great breakfast. Absolutely nothing.
• CARMEL (9/5): Winton House is a spectacular find in a gorgeous village. Would stay here again. - Visited in April 2026: Winton House was easy to find, a short drive out of the town of Stratford-Upon-Avon. Very picturesque and surrounded by gorgeous scenery and history. Staff were fabulous! Very friendly, very clear instructions (“don’t lose the original house key!”). Lovely breakfast in the dining room with other friendly guests. Room and facilities were very comfortable, clean and homely. We loved our stay and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you for hosting us. We didn’t like that our stay was so short. We should’ve booked a few more nights. And the front door seemed to take a bit of work to open - or maybe it was us and our unfamiliarity with it.

• Louise (10/5): Idillic retreat in English Countryside. - Idillic location out in the countryside but a 10 minute drive to Stratford upon Avon. We had a bedroom at the front with a very picturesque view of Meon Hill. Very friendly staff. Delicious cooked breakfast made by the lovely Lou who is very knowledgeable about the area. A beautiful garden area at the back to relax in if you wish just listening to the bird song. Delightful place. Comfortable and spacious room with supplied washing toiletries, hairdryer, electric fan and hot drink making facilities if you need them.

• Alyssa (10/5): - Lovely house on the countryside. Super friendly host, we felt like at home immediately. The room is very comfy and has everything you need. The breakfast is delicious and served by the loveliest person. We enjoyed our time in the quiet countryside and it was a perfect location for our day trips to the Cotswolds. We definitely want to come back :)

When we’re told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, Winton House certainly take it seriously - superb! Absolutely nothing not to like.

• Wendy (10/5): A lovely home in a great location! - The room was very clean and comfortable. Great view from the bedroom. Owners communicated well and Lou who cooked the breakfast was very friendly and obliging. Nothing to dislike.
• David (9/5): Winton House is a great place to base yourself to enjoy the area. - Located in a small, peaceful village situated in pleasant countryside, and not far from Stratford upon Avon. Nice views from the front over the village green and a nearby hill. Rear overlooked a large garden and green fields. We were welcomed by James with a pot of tea. We enjoyed nicely cooked breakfasts.

Day one - no yoghurt available - toast was thin sliced bread = not good Day two - I had baked beans (luke warm), mushrooms (good) and bacon - rock hard and almost impossible to cut. Again poor quality bread.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was very good. There weren’t any downsides but we would have enjoyed the use of the sitting room which is currently being refurbished.

It was a bit cold for me but the hosts were very helpful with resolving that issue. I’d like to see more of the original features restored in the house as i think it would really enhance the stay.

• trudy (9/5): Lovely two days stay - Lou. She was very friendly and was well informed about the local area. We had a lovely stay with its quiet location and slept well on our two night stay. We also loved the family vibe and the family pets. We would recommend this lovely guest house to friends and family.
• Gemma (8/5): - Lovely location. Situated in a nice little village with picturesque views. Room lovely and warm at all times. Comfy beds and a good sized shower. Basics in the room supplied (kettle, hairdryer etc) Breakfast provided and the highlight of all the positives has to be Lou who works for the family who own this premises who makes the breakfast each morning. She is an asset!! Lovely, friendly, chatty and made the stay a really positive experience! Downstairs lounge is out of use. Popped our head in the door and its kept in darkness and is freezing (did read on another review they dont heat or use this room in the winter months which is a shame. Dust everywhere! I believe due to renovations happening currently but all the bedside tables/ kettle/ wardrobes etc all thick of dust Lots of noise both nights (banging/possibly stuff being moved around both nights until about 10pm Free roaming cats. Now as animal lovers, the cats and dogs they do have didnt bother us too much (dogs very yappy) however if youd rather a pet free stay (and we would normally, as we were escaping our own 2 pooches for a break- aswell as our teen) 🤣 this is not the place for you.

• Christine (10/5): Most hospitable B&B, Situated in a Beautiful Village - The B&B is situated in a beautiful spot in the village looking over the green. The staff and so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was 1st class, absolutely delicious, my husband had a full english breakfast every morning and we had fresh mixed berries, local yogurt and granola, which was delicious, I had poached eggs on toast which was the best poached eggs I have ever had. We have stayed in 5 star Hotels and we have never been welcomed as we have staying at Winton House. N/A

• Eileen Ngee Lian (9/5): Wonderfully set up! Like going back to your own cosy home - Very pretty. Overlooking a vast, clean field . Serene indeed Hmm.. that’s just my own problem & no fault of the owners - there were 2 cats in the house and I’m strangely scared of cats since childhood . But they are very lovely, tame cats though.
• Nympha (9/5): - The rooms were comfortable and relaxing and very importantly, warm as the weather was quite cold. Breakfast was delicious and it was so nice that our preferences were considered.
