• Tyler (2/5): - For the price we were not expecting a lot but what we experienced was very disappointing. Upon arrival the building displayed a big red sign stating short term rentals were not allowed, which was the first red flag. Upon entering the apartment we noticed there was an infestation of bugs on the ceiling. They eventually came to spray and kill all the bugs but that was just the beginning. The entire apartment was not properly cleaned with dirt on the shelves and floor, and long black hairs also all over the floors. We have young children, and were surprised to find the locks to 2 of the doors leading to the outside balcony (on the 14th floor) were broken so we could not lock the doors. Had to stack furniture in front of them and sleep with anxiety. Finally, we were staying on a Monday and checking out early Tuesday morning, and after a long vacation planned on a slow relaxing pool day before our departure. Unfortunately we found that the pool is closed for maintenance every Monday, which is not stated in the listing at all. Overall one of the worst properties have stayed at, and again this is already with low expectations. The only good thing I can say is that it is in a good location. If you value even a low level of cleanliness or have young children, avoid at all costs.

You need to ask for it 20 minutes before you go, somebody needs to walk with you and you can’t swim after 16:00

It is perfectly suited for a single guest and ideal for a brief visit to Ho Chi Minh City. The apartment offers air conditioning, a washing machine, a comfortable bed and armchair, and an Android TV. The bathroom and toilet are adequately appointed, and there is a handy wardrobe for your belongings. Finally, the location is excellent—just a 10–20-minute walk across the bridge to the city centre, or a 5–10-minute taxi ride. Nearby attractions include Ben Thanh Market and the landmark tower. For the more adventurous, Lotte Mart in the southern district is only a 10-minute taxi ride away. This is truly the perfect spot. I found nothing to criticise.

Total con, we booked and during transfer (via booking.com free taxi from the airport), got a text saying I think this is a fake booking, we reassured, but was told we had no room now, but a friend did. Very stressful. 2. The friend eventually met us (after 30 minutes wait), showed us the apartment that we agreed to accept as what were our choices!!! We had to pay cash, same as in the booking.com agreement. 3. Poor communication, had no access key for a few hours. Was informed later had to inform him to go to pool every time! To go to gym he had to use his finger scan. Totally unacceptable. 4. No cleaning or towels etc over the four nights. 5. Air con does not work in the living area. 6. Fourth floor facing dual carriageway, very noisy 24 hours a day. 7. Note - it is illegal to rent out apartments in these blocks. Signs everywhere, not sure of consequences. 8. Book at your own risk. However can Booking.com allow such activity.

This one was available, it had almost everything I needed and it was well priced too for three weeks It is centrally located, so it's not far from most tourist places. It has a seven eleven, a pharmacy, 2 mini grocery stores and a restaurant all within the ground floor of the building. They offered to clean the apartment each week but I declined. I will definitely book there again. There weren't any tea towels, and there was no power point in the bedroom but they were aware and have supplied an extension lead.

Never known a bed like it!! - Me and my wife ended up with bruised sides after sleeping here for 2nights, the mattress is the WORST we’ve ever slept in, you can feel the metal springs coming through, you’ll not have a decent sleep here!! Also all the photos on hotels.com are fake to what we stayed in. The property was very basic and not as great as expected, this was floor 16 apartment 14. Not only was we disappointed by the bed but we had to wait from 12pm in the lobby until 2pm “check in” time to turn up to the apartment not even been touched by cleaners, nothing had been done but we got told they just missed out fresh towels which was a lie. We had to wait around for someone to come and clean it properly and asked 3 times for them to change the bedding as we could see it was still the bedding from the previous people. The apartment was finally ready at 3:45pm meaning we had wasted all our afternoon on waiting around and making sure it was actually clean for us to stay in, after all that - that’s when we discovered the bed problem but as we had already paid for the property we didn’t want to loose our money and move somewhere else. It also says there’s a pool, which is correct on floor 7, however your lift key only lets you go to floor 16 ONLY so you have no chance of using the pool area. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend either. The apartment needs a bit of TLC too, stained toilet, balcony door doesn’t lock, balcony light doesn’t turn off etc, all needs looking at

• Chris (8/5): - We booked for the 2 bedroom option but the first night we were told our room had some issues with water so we were given 3 bedroom which was ok but added a sence of hassle due to the room channe and did not like having my stuff moved with out my supervison. When we arrived at the 2 bedroom. Room bit outdated with some power points taped over and towels were super worn out. Its pretty ol place to stay. The location good short 5 to 10 min grab ride everwhere

• Markus (2/5): Scam alert - Apartment hat nichts mit der Anzeige zu tun . Dinge angepriesen, die gar nicht vorhanden waren. Es gibt keine Rezeption und das einchecken war das schlechteste Alle 2 Tage Bettwäsche wechseln wurde niemals gemacht. Erste Nacht keine funktionierende Klimaanlage.Kommunikation mit dem Host negativ - sie war unfreundlich und null herzlich. Da versucht jemand Airbnb auf Hotels.com zu machen. Eine sehr negative Erfahrung und Hotels.com hat im Support versagt. Keine Hilfe, keine umbuchen keine Erstattung für einen offensichtlichen Betrug und nicht im vollen Umstand erbrachte Leistung (wie verkauft). Der Host hatte null Hilfe angeboten, weil Elsie wohl wusste das ich als Gast eh nichts machen kann. Das Zimmer welches ich erhalten habe ist nicht mehr als 15 vielleicht 18 Euro wert, denn man befindet sich in Saigon District 4 in einem Gebäude welches mehr Verkehr hat als eine U Bahnstation in der rush hour. Die Gegend,um das „Apartment“ herum ist heruntergekommen und sixteen viel Verkehr. Die Fenster sind nicht Schallisoliert und man hat eine Schule neben an, die in der Woche sehr lautstark ist. Mich hattest nicht gestört, doch ich erwähne es, weil nahezu alle Angaben in der Anzeige nicht stimmen. Keine Memoschaum Matratze und die Küche ist nicht umfänglich ausgestattet. Als Solo Person geht es mehr als eine Person eher nicht. Das Warmwasserversorgungen reicht für wenige Minuten und der Wasserdruck ist so gering, dass es schon ne Weile dauert bis man fertig ist.
• Dorte (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay and the facilities. Og was nice to be able to go to the pool, the gym and to do my laundry. Further it is great with aircondition. Check in and check out was easy. I would stay here again, if I were to go to Ho Chi Minh City some other time.
• Ashley (10/5): Top Place to Stay in HCM - Had a great stay here at Rivergate Residence. The location is very close to District 1 and there are plenty of places to eat close by. Very convenient having the pharmacy, 7-11 and other convenience store in the building. The pool was excellent and exactly what we needed after long days out and about in the city. The stafff were very helpful too. The room was nice and quiet and have everything that we needed. Very nice having a properly drop off and pick up area in front of the building.

• Stefan (10/5): - Super Apartment in der Innenstadt, alles Fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Apartment hat eine kleine Küche, ein Doppelbett und eine kleine Couch. Auf dem kleinen Balkon steht eine Waschmaschine zur Nutzung bereit. Die gesamte Residence verfügt über einen Pool und ein Gym, zur gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung.
• Tran (10/5): - Perfect apartment for my short stay in SaiGon. Extremely clean, close to the city, has everything you need. Staff were also very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended and will come back next time I come to Vietnam
• TAEJUN (8/5): - 예약한곳이 수리중이라고해서 2박은 같은건물 다른층에서 묵었습니다. 중간에 짐을 옮겨야되는점이 귀찮았지만 편하게 묵었습니다. 다음에도 또 묵을생각이있습니다. 7층에 수영장이있고 헬스장도 있지만 헬스장은 이용이 안되니 근처 로컬헬스장을 이용하세요
