- Jose Francisco (7/5): Justo al lado de una vía de tren - El personal muy agradable, llegamos con quemaduras del sol y el personal nos proporcionó crema y aloe vera. Muy cerca de la vía del tren, a las 6 de la mañana empieza a pasar los trenes y es imposible dormir. Aunque no es culpa del hotel, nos comieron las chinches que había en la cama. Tuve que tomar antiestaminicos

- Thomas (8/5): Decent stay - Good central location, near by main roads and beach. Beach is 5-7 min walk. Bus station 10. And a lot of tuktuk around to drive you somewhere. We liked the view out of our window, and we even saw some rare monkeys playing around, which was fun. For some reason, they made all the doors kind of glass/ tinted/ see through. Which resulted in that it’s never felt dark or private in the rooms. Even at night here is light coming through the door from the lights in the hallway or even from other rooms. The picture was taken at 06:00 in the morning. And whole hotel is very loud. Not from the train or outside traffic, but of the bad acoustics inside. Everything is tiled, so it echoed!! Multiple guests were having long conversations at 06:45 in the morning each day, waking us up.

The rooms were very clean and spacious, comfortable with air conditioning upon request. Good Wi-Fi also! N/A

- Jan Durk (6/5): Het was prima - De mensen waren vriendelijk en het ontbijt was goed. We waren alleen in het hotel. Je moet een klein stukje lopen naar het strand, zit niet aan het hotel. We hadden ‘s nachts een kakkerlak in de badkamer.

You could use the sister property’s sunbeds which was very handy if you wanted to sit out at the beach Mosquito net was a bit small for the bed so it wasn’t as functional.

They didn’t offer any help in this situation, just told me sorry but your room is busy. When I asked them to help me at least with tuk tuk they answered me that they can not. Really horrible situation and bad experience.

The manager Ishara and his team were so kind to us - arranging a scooter, snorkelling, a tuktuk to the doctor when we needed it. The rooms are modern, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is simple and good. Location is also great - away from the noisy main road but just a 5 min walk to the beach. Best of all, iresort is excellent value for money.
- jonasdaswede (6/5): Good value for money - This hotel is really good value for money. The rooms are clean, and the bathrooms modern. The beach is a five minute walk away. We had chosen a room with a fan, but without AC. That was a mistake, as I'm sensitive to heat at night.
- alisa_else (10/5): Great place in Weligama! - We stayed 20 nights there and it was fantastically great! The room was big, everything was new, clean and fresh. Good breakfasts (the same every day, but tasty anyway). Very close to the beach (5 minutes by foot). The staff was so helpful and friendly! The room was cleaned every 3 days and it was more than enough. But the sounds... The hotel is close to the railway, and you will definitely hear the sound of trains in the morning :) But in Weligama you have to wake up early, so this alarm clock will help you.
