• Ismo (7/5): Quite happy after all ! - 3 nice bedrooms. Bath rooms very ok. Clean. Privat balcony. Good communication with staff. Some parts of the house need some renovation, but maybe for Sicily standards it is still quite good.

• Federica (8/5): - Bella casa,su tre piani più terrazza sul tetto, arredata con stile e fornita di tutto ciò che occorre per viverci, cucina ben fornita e frigoriferi in più sia al piano terra che appena fuori dal terrazzo molto comodi e utili in estate soprattutto. Tre grandi camere da letto e due bagni tanto spazio per famiglie numerose. La posizione è super comoda per tutto. Purtroppo siamo arrivati in un periodo di brutto tempo, pioggia e freddo e abbiamo trovato la casa gelida,con i condizionatori tutti spenti e una temperatura iterna di 15 gradi con un'umidità altissima. Noi ci abbiamo messo un paio di giorni abbondanti per rendere l'ambiente vivibile, ma ritengo che sia stata una situazione inaccettabile, sarebbe bastato almeno scaldare un giorno prima visto che il tempo era già brutto prima del nostro arrivo.e comunque siamo a marzo non a luglio.

• Sara (8/5): Nice, but steep stairs and no instructions. - The apartment is centrally located. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean. The stairs were a big challenge for everyone in the group, even the fit ones. Also, in the ground floor bathroom, there is a light switch for the hot water, but this is not indicated anywhere, so I took a cold shower the first morning. Instructions for finding the apartment and unloading our luggage and then finding parking were very confusing and caused a bit of stress when we arrived. Nothing is really explained, so if you’re new to Ortigia, as our small group of five was, you will be confused.
• Zbyněk (9/5): Hezké prostorné ubytování přímo v centru a blízko moře. Komunikace s pronajímatelem byla velmi příje - Ubytování bylo přímo v centru, blízko mnoha restaurací. K moři to bylo přibližně 300m. Apartmán byl prostorný, velmi dobře vybavený. Kuchyň byla skvěle vybavený. Přímo naproti ubytování byly tři restaurace. Střešní terasa byla lehce zanedbaná, některé vnější žaluzie nešli vytahovat. Parkování je možné za poplatek na veřejném parkovišti, cca 600m dalek.

• Roxana (9/5): - Locatie buna, zona linistita, aproape de restaurante Nu am avut apa calda, vina a fost a noastra, dupa doua zile de dusuri cu apa rece, ne-am dat seama ca oprisem boilerul dintr-un întrerupător care putea fi confundat cu un întrerupător pentru lumina. Ar fi trebuit semnalizat cumva. Aerul din camera era putin inchis insa era de inteles tinand cont de vechimea cladirii.

The downside of this property was that two of the bedrooms did not have air conditioning. The central location meant parking was a 10-minute walk away, and it was tricky managing the baggage.

• Michiel (9/5): Serene calm in the middle of beautiful Ortigia - It is hard to get more central Ortigia than this upscale unit, which with its three floors and terrace on top feels more like a house than an apartment. Access is through a lovely alley which just oozes authentic Sicilian old town charm. Major attractions and fine dining are just blocks away, as is the ocean. The Reggia is tastefully decorated with a stark mix of modern and classic touches that make it feel spacious and uncluttered and help to clear your mind, while still offering plenty of comfort and practicality. The kitchen area is particularly great, spacious and well stocked. Both bathrooms are stylish and clean. There is airconditioning on every floor and movable fans are provided to keep the air circulating. The wonderful top terrace seats eight and also offers 3 sunbeds and a tap/sink (and a washing machine). The master bedroom has a private freezer and fridge. Stylish and luxurious, the Reggia offers rest and relaxation in the heart of bustling Syracuse. Top marks. No private parking space is available. The public parking area on Ortigia is not really close, about a 7 minute walk away. Along with the multiple stairs in the appartment you should be up to just a little bit of exercise.
• Denitsa (8/5): Wonderful location and very nice terrace - Perfect location in the heart of Ortigia, tucked away on a quiet and very charming green street—just a 5-minute walk to the Duomo square. The property is spacious and spread over four floors, with each bedroom located on a separate level. This layout offers privacy but may be challenging for guests with mobility issues. The rooftop terrace is a standout feature: spacious, beautifully set up, and offering lovely views over the rooftops of Ortigia. The interior is tastefully furnished with stylish and upscale décor. There was a lack of hot water initially, which turned out to be due to a button that hadn’t been pressed. Unfortunately, it took a full day to resolve. This could easily be avoided by providing clear instructions for guests on how to manage the hot water system. The deposit process was inconvenient. I had to leave a deposit at their reception, which is about 200 meters from the apartment. Upon arrival, I noticed some broken items in the apartment that hadn’t been mentioned during check-in. I took photos and sent them to the staff, who responded that they were already aware of the issues and told me not to worry. However, at check-out, no one came to inspect the apartment or return the deposit—I had to go back to the reception myself to retrieve it. It’s unclear why the deposit is necessary when the process feels both uncoordinated and unnecessary.

• Violeta (7/5): Good - Located in the heart of the city!!! Beautifully furnished, very spacious with amazing balcony overlooking the old city roof tops! Staff was really helpful! -The smell of mold in the whole apartment -Mold on the ceiling in the 3rd floor bedroom. This must be repaired asap. It’s very unhealthy to sleep in a room with mold.

• Georgia (9/5): Great but needs some maintenance. - Eclectic styling, modern property. It’s multiple levels so it’s not suitable for people with mobility issues. The shower head in the downstairs bathroom is completely broken, it’s essentially a tap and comes off as soon as you turn the water on. The dishwasher has lots of rust inside it. In the heat, you had to keep the bedroom doors open for the air conditioning as it’s not in the bedrooms.

• Giulia (8/5): Very good - The house is very spacious and it is in the very center of ortigia. The rooftop is really nice and the rooms are comfortable. We had some issues with the electricity ; the house is on four levels and in summer, air conditioning is a must. So we had some trouble when we were cooking but the host promptly fixed the issue. Fridges need a bit of maintenance too and I would suggest a more powerful ac on the third floor because the heat from the rooftop during summer is very very strong and it comes down to the floor ; one machine is not enough. That’s why it needs to stay on for most of the time.

• Romero (7/5): Great location in the heart of Ortigia and very clean and lots of space on many floors. - Location is great, having the option for the valet car service is nice and was affordable. The property is hard to get to with luggage, but having a driver to get car, made it easier. The apartment was nice and decorated nicely and clean. The air conditioner worked great and once the WiFi worked it was good. The deck was nice, but it was too hot, however would be ideal in cooler temperatures to enjoy a meal. For a family this is not an ideal apartment with 4 levels and about 40 steps to deck. Each room is on a separate level, which may be ideal for couples or friends but hard for families going up and down. There were no essentials other than soap and some toiletries, so cooking was difficult and the stove was hard to operate. There is not a freezer in the kitchen but a plug in one downstairs in bedroom one, which is difficult to use when traveling to level 3 for the kitchen. It is a nice property but not functional or practical and very basic amenities.

• Richard (8/5): Brilliant location - decent apartment that could be amazing with a little TLC - As the propertly is linked to a hotel nearby collecting keys was super easy and we had somehwere to leave luggage pre and post check in The location was incredible with nearby access to sea and a roof terrace with loungers and digning table. It felt priavte while being in the heart of Ortigia We liked eveyrhting but the property, which was clearly once very high end, needs a little TLC - cracked glass, partly working toilet flushers, needs a lick of paint here and there

Comfy beds and excellent air conditioning, with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Could have provided more toiletries as we had to buy our own shower gel. Some lightbulbs didn't work

Simple traditional Italian coffee maker woild be better
• John (9/5): Excellent location and modern aprtment. Close to all Ortigia sites. - The property was very well located, modern and very clean. Had all the facilities. The hosts were extremely responsive and informative and also took care of our car with valet parking

Location was central to everything Rooftop terrace was a great place to relax. Beds were comfortable. Housekeeper came 2 times to clean and she was wonderful Bathrooms had extra towels for us. Living room had very comfortable sofa and lounge chairs and nice TV. The agents for the owner, Rosie and Marcos were very friendly and helped to get our problems solved, and arranged taxis for us and airport transfers. Terrace was super hot and curtains per photos were not up. After 4 days of asking did someone come to install and they only put up 2, not three like pictures showed. No internet for over 4 days. Needed to check on family and attend zoom meetings at various hours. Very inconvenient. Two big fridges. One outside terrace didn’t work and there was No freezer for ice cubes. Agreed to split cost on two credit cards which did not happen.
• Ane (7/5): Good - Excellent location, lovely street and nice restaurants nearby. We had some technical problems, but the staff were responsive and tried to fix them quickly. Nice kitchen, although essentials such as oil, spices, kitchen paper and dishwasher tablets could have been supplied. Nice roof terrace and elegant interior. Very limited hot water capacity in the downstairs shower, but we found that the upstairs shower was better. The apartment is spread over 3 floors plus roof terrace, which was a little inconvenient although supposedly authentic for the old town.
• Charalampos (6/5): Super location, great aesthetics, spacious in 3 floors, needs some maintenance and upkeep to maintain it shine. - This 3 floor plus terrace on top apartment is a great find. Perfect location, really nice aesthetics, with wonderful furniture and an artistic touch. It is great for a family of six, sharing between 2 families or a large group of friends. Sleeps comfortably six in 3 bedrooms in the 3 different floors, has 2 bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful on how to arrive and handle the complexities of a pedestrian city. The place has the feeling of being a bit worn down, definitely needs some upkeep. Mattress on ground floor was completely worn, soft and uncomfortable. There was no toilet cover on the bathroom in the second floor. Instead of a hand soap in the sink there was a fixed hairconditioner bottle, as the holder was broken inside the shower. The shower head was changed, but couldn’t fit in the holder so you could only shower while holding it. The hot water was not enough for one person to take a shower on the ground floor bathroom, it was always ending up being cold. This, despite not touching the button for the boiler. We didn’t experience anything similar on the second floor bathroom. The curtains on the balcony are missing, not like in the pictures, allowing for really ugly views across the building. Its a collection of small details that may disappoint, despite the fact that the apartment is really lovely and in a super location.
• Anna (10/5): Luxury multilevel home on most beautiful street in Guidecca neighborhood of Ortigia. - Quiet street just 2 blocks walking distance to all the top sights, bakeries, corner stores, gelato, beaches and restaurants. This clean and spacious home is spread out with a bedroom on each level. This was a wonderful setup for having privacy but also time together. We were able to cook breakfast in the kitchen. The Wi-Fi was good enough for video calls and working remotely which lead to us extending our stay. The staff was lovely. We really enjoyed using the private roof deck which also has a laundry room. This will be our top spot to stay for future stays in Syracuse.
