- Claire (10/5): A wonderful glamping experience with a fantastic fire pit! - We had a fantastic stay at Glamping at Quex Farm, a lovely small family business that made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. Dawn was a wonderful host and greeted us with a delicious lemon drizzle cake.
The tent was incredibly clean, spacious, and waterproof, as we got to experience during the night! We also had lovely weather, so we made the most of the barbecue facilities and the fire pit. The onsite farm shop had plenty of fantastic local produce to enjoy. Lovely view over the fields with horses around.
We had great fun at the Adventure Park and Crazy Golf, both within the complex. Birchington station is only about a 15-minute walk away, and there is easy access to the seaside about 20 min walk, with beautiful hiking routes on the coastal path to Reculver point.
The whole stay was peaceful, relaxing, and very well thought out. We visited in early May and did not even need the heating, as the blankets were warm. The bathroom was also very comfortable, clean, with hot water and all the amenities needed. The kitchen had everything needed too and everything was very well conceived. And it's good value for money.
- Joanne (10/5): A perfect place to relax and unwind - Everything the whole experience was wonderful

- ann (10/5): loved every minute - the facility was exceptional very clean, every thing catered for, nothing was too much trouble for the host, had a lovely time. the weather it rained
- Skye (10/5): Ive already booked our next stay... - The location was fantastic, Dawn was lovely over text message, and the view was wonderful to wake up to.
It was so relaxing and home away from home It's a little bit annoying not having an oven as the local farm shop sold frozen food that I would have loved to of tried.

- Stacey (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay. It was our first time glamping and wasn’t sure what to expect. Plenty of room in the bell tent. Privacy between us and the other glampers, an outside kitchen with everything you need to make basic meals. Outdoor seating, a BBQ, a fire pit, and bathroom in a horse box. The night sky was breathtaking. A nice way to spend a few days away from it all. Nothing
- Cooper (10/5): -
- Niall (10/5): Amazing trip - The location was perfect, you had everything you would need and the owners were lovely. They provided a homemade lemon cake which was a lovely touch and it was a lovely cake. Would recommend to anyone.
- Stuart (10/5): Will return - Very peaceful, really comfortable bed and nothing was too much trouble for Dawn
- Sharron (9/5): A fantastic well equipped glamping site with lovely furniture, quality bedding and super clean bell tent. We wouldn’t he - Very friendly and attentive owner and cleaning staff, really well equipped outside kitchen on a lovely private plot with plenty of space. The accommodation has quality, comfortable beds and furnishings and was exceptionally clean. We had a wonderful stay and would love a return visit. The complimentary cake was a lovely touch Thank you! We had amazing weather during our visit so shouldn’t complain, but this did mean the bell tent got extremely warm inside during the day. A fan would be lovely! I would happily pay a small fee to rent one during a summer stay. (Just an idea)
- Rebecca (10/5): - Just got home from the most perfect stay, everything there to provide a comfortable weekend.owners are a lovely couple who are there to help with anything. Lots to do around and places to eat can't wait to go back
- Hewitt (10/5): Absolutely loved it here - It was our first time Glamping and we already want to re book and bring our other family members. It was so relaxed, quiet, clean, private and there was so much to do at quex park. The horses in the field were a lovely sight. The pod comfortably fit 2 adults and 2 children with plenty of space. Dawn was around on check in and gave us a tour such a lovely lady.
Some fresh milk and lemon drizzle cake on arrival was a lovely touch.
Dawn brought over logs and charcoal for the fire and bbq the kids had fun toasting marshmallows 🙂
We will definitely be back again, such a lovely little time away creating the kids memories.

- Sarah (9/5): Glamping gold star - We've just returned from our second visit and loved it just as much as the first last year! The site is in a brilliant location and we got to indulge in crazy golf and a lovely lunch out at the farm shop on site. We visited the craft village and even saw other visitors on the famed goat walks. The glamping pitch itself is peaceful, spacious, secure and great for families or those with dogs. They are generous in size and we loved the beautiful main tents and converted horse trailer that serves as a bathroom (complete with shower, sinks, and compost able toilet. Everything has been thoughtfully done and makes for such an easy, enjoyable stay. They've definitely spoilt us and our friends..this is now the gold standard for glamping! Honestly...nothing we didnt like. We've loved it both times and can't wait to go back again.
- Wendy (10/5): Relaxing back to nature break. -
- Depradines (10/5): Exceptional - We love everything about this place. This was our 3rd stay and it won't be our last! The location is fantastic if you want to chill out but equally the perfect spot to attend any events at quex park. The small personal touches are fantastic and the beautiful location surrounded by the livery is so wonderful. The owners couldn't be any more welcoming and accommodating and I look forward to returning each year as it's somewhere I totally relax. Thanks again ladies for having us, see you again soon xxx
- Sophie (10/5): We had the best time - a group of friends getting together with our kids. It was the perfect long weekend. - Clean spacious private and set up very well! Nothing- it was perfect! Own bathroom, fairy lights, home made cake, everything you could need in the kitchen to cook alfresco - brilliant!

Dawn was a delight and we had lots of space to run around.

- Catherine (10/5): A trip to remember! - Dawn was an exceptional host, excellent communication and very helpful. The glamping site itself has everything you need! Comfy bed and hot shower. The fresh cake in fridge was a lovely touch. Stayed for a relaxing weekend with friends, we loved exploring Quex park and waking up to horses and birdsong. You don't even need to leave the site as there is plenty to do! We hope to stay again :) I was a little cold during the night but that is more my own poor planning and relying on the British weather to stay warm in the evenings :D bring warm clothes too!
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linn (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing stay! Loved everything, the tent was so cosy, toilet so cute made from a horse carriage, bbq in the evening with amazing produce we bought from the local farm shop! Good location for us that don't have a car, 20 min walk from the station!
Thank you Dawn, we will definitely come again!
- Zuzanna (10/5): Calm weekend in beautiful settings - Gorgeous location and campsite. The tent itself is beautiful and spotlessly clean. There is a kitchen on site with a gas hob, fridge, and all the pots and pans you might need for cooking. The bathrooms are again extremely clean and have hot water. Dawn is beyond helpful, ended up giving us lifts from and to the station as we didn't have a car. Overall it was a delightful weekend and we will certainly be back! This is so small and definitely an extra, but a little bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper would be great to have for cooking!
- Linh (10/5): Unique glamping experience with kids - The tent was clean and at great location. Lots of things to do with kids close by. Only short drive to beaches as well.
Kids loved the place so much and didn’t want to leave. Our son found the horse box bathroom cute. Great open space to run around for kids and the horses just near by was such a treat.
Dawn was very welcoming. The lemon drizzle cake was lovely.
Such a great experience for the first time glamping. Nothing
- Laura (10/5): Beautiful glamping pods in peaceful surroundings - Very cute and cosy spacious pods. The bed was very comfy! The en-suite horse box was lovely and very unique. Had everything we needed including a lovely lemon drizzle cake! Quex park has lots for families all on your doorstep so you don’t even need to leave the site!
- Amanda (9/5): Our first experience of glamping was really good and this is due to the hard work of the host to provide such a lovely w - This is in a lovely setting. The plot is actually quite private we stayed in pod 2 . The tent is beautifully done inside and immaculately clean . The bed was extremely comfortable. The little kitchen is really good with everything you need and a few little extras . A lovely lemon drizzle cake when we arrived which was delicious and complimentary tea coffee sugar etc more than enough for a couple days for us . Host is really lovely and welcoming gave us a tour and explained everything on arrival . The fire pit is lovely to get going on a nice evening and everything you need for a small charge is excellent value . The bathroom was also immaculate and beautifully presented with little smellies .
We would definitely come here again but in slightly warmer weather / time of year . Beware of cheeky ‘mr magpie ‘ who helps himself to a snack given the chance ! Make sure you don’t leave anything edible out on the side in kitchen as he pecked into our pack of butter and the packet of crackers lol 😂. But easily solved As plenty of space in the cupboard to hide your goodies ! Thanks to the un predictable British weather this slightly changed the experience for us . We had never done this before a more seasoned ‘camper’ maybe slightly more prepared . We were quite chilly at night but found some hot water bottles on the second night and this helped . Did have a slight cold damp feeling to items after they been in there for while like clothes and the bedding, but again due to bad weather I think and could possibly benefit from some kind of heater for times like this . I would have liked another mirror in main tent as only small mirror in bathroom and the lightings not very good for doing make up etc.
- Carrie (10/5): Great stay with kids and friends - Everything is great at Quex Livery Glamping. The glamping tents are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is done very nicely with lovely hot showers. The space is great and set away from the rest of Quex park but also close enough if you want to explore what's on offer there. It is also very close to the seaside and beaches.
There were some small issues but Dawn was always available and responded quickly to resolve them.
This was our second year visiting and we look forward to returning again. Nothing.
- Mike (9/5): A very relaxing stay in a delightfully furnished giant tent. - The team at Quex clearly know their business and had anticipated our needs, down to having a box of logs, firelighters, matches, a pint of milk and a home made cake ready for us on arrival. The water heater for the shower was a bit temperamental but worked in the end.
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (10/5): So relaxing, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Perfect. - Such a beautiful location. The glamping tent was much bigger than we expected and it was so prettily decorated with fairy lights and bunting outside. We loved using the firepit to toast marshmallows after dark and it was brilliant having both a gas grill in our private kitchen area and a BBQ for our sole use. Seeing the horses and Shetland ponies at the end of our lovely long private grass area was so relaxing. The converted horsebox bathroom was so pretty and the shower was lovely and warm. The hot water bottles and lovely soft furry blankets were super warm and cozy. And being able to park right next to our glamping tent was so handy. And being on the Quex Park grounds was brilliant because there's so much to do there from crazy golf to visiting the museum. The barn shop on the site stocks everything you could ever need and more. And it's just a ten minute drive from the sea. Everything was perfect. Most relaxing holiday ever. N/A - everything was perfect.
