Guest Reviews
- Pauline (8/5): A nice stay - The room was small but clean. Shower was good staff accommodating air conditioning work very well.
- Victoria (8/5): - Adequate room with main necessities. There’s are at least 3 APA hotels within 2 minutes walking of each other when you first arrive which can be frustrating.
- Mark (10/5): - Place had everything we needed. Really enjoyed the organization and amenities.
- Emiretha (8/5): - Quaint and cozy for solo travelers.
- Laura (10/5): Cruise cabin on land - Many of the appointments of the room reminded me of a cruise cabin. The TV screen had a wealth of information. You needed to leave your key card in the slot, everything turns off when you exit the room. Front desk people very friendly. Close walk to several subway stations. Room tiny but has all you need.
- Emmanuel (10/5): - Very affordable
- Michele (10/5): - Great
- Yolanda (10/5): - JR and Toei stations are less than 5 min away and metro is 10 min away, excellent location! Accommodation is very cozy, has everything you might possibly need, very clean and convenient. Also, if you bought too much, there are nearby spots selling very cheap luggage!
- Phong (10/5): - Very efficient and friendly check in, location is close to all train ststion with plenty of convenient stores! Staff were super friendly and helpful!
- Ben (10/5): - Good room.
- Paul (10/5): - Great time and lovely staff !
- Susan (8/5): - Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Not a buffet. Reasonable selection to choose from. A few minutes walk from metro. Very clean. Only negative is size of room.
- David (10/5): - Very nice place with excellent service!
- ailed (10/5): - Gret staff
- ailed (10/5): - Greta!
- Anna (10/5): - great service, nice rooms very clean
- Elmira (10/5): - This hotel is in a great location, with easy access to the metro, and Akihabara. It was basically a home away from home for 7 days.
- Ziara (10/5): - Small, clean, and wonderful rooms, great proximity to train stations. Quiet, walkable part of Tokyo with food nearby and great breakfast spot in lobby. Would stay again:)
- Carl (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and helped as much as they could to make the experience stay as comfortable. This APA location has a lot of access to a lot of subways and as well good restaurants near it. Would book again for my next trip to Japan
- Jabez (10/5): - Easy access and a great selection of variety in breakfast options.
- Karl (10/5): - It's an excellent location. Clean rooms. Good price.
- David Elliot (6/5): - Very Siberian
- Ricardo (8/5): - Nice area close to transportation
- Sonny (8/5): - Excellent place and very friendly, helpful staff.
- Henry (10/5): - The hotel is in a nice and quiet neighborhood. It is easy to access the subway stations. The staff are kind and polite.
- Jungsuk (10/5): - Very close from wholesale market and subway station. The breakfast has few options available from the cafe and it tastes really nice. Also the pork katsu restaurant next to the hotel is really good as well.
- Deborah (10/5): - Everything you need, good location and value for money! Recommended
- Julie (10/5): - Thanks so much for a lovely stay! I was there five nights and it was very comfortable, with extremely helpful staff.
- Shelly Anne (10/5): - Love it
- Nastaran (10/5): - The location is really good, easy check in and check out, cleanliness, and a quiet location in Tokyo
- Dominic (10/5): - Great place to stay. Close to Asakusa and a very quiet neighborhood. Also close to a train station. The breakfast was also amazing. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
- Lorne (10/5): - Located near several subway lines, this hotel was a great find! It's in a relatively quiet neighborhood with several conveniences within a 1-2 block radius, including a post office, several convenience stores, cafés, and even a small but well-stocked grocery store.
The immediate area seems to be mostly textile-related businesses (a few shops but nothing overly exciting), office buildings, apartments and condos. Very few houses. There were a few Instagram-worthy spots (streetviews of the Tokyo Skytree, small local shrines, etc.) but no major attractions. The closest well-known area is Akibahara, which was about a 20-minute walk away. Walk a bit further and you'll reach the Ueno Zoo.
The rooms were small but impeccably clean. They give you a bag of clean robes, towels and other items every day (even if you don't need them), and they do a deep clean every 3 days. If all the APA facilities are run the same, I'd be happy to book with them on my future visits!
- Allison (8/5): - It was close to many restaurants, and the Metro. The rooms was too tiny for two people. But overall the stay was pleasant.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Really good for the price. Very helpful and my partner lost something in the room which they found.
- Sergio (10/5): - Within walking distance of Akihabara. Really close to the train station. Food options, bars, convenience store all within 5 min walking distance as well. Slightly out of the way enough to not be involved in everything as well. Great location
- Cristina (10/5): - All i didnt like was the neighbor in front of my room, very loud. Hotel was amazing, clean, would go again
- Stephanie (8/5): - Easily accessible via multiple train lines. The rooms were nice and the hotel overall was great.
- Marie-Pascale (10/5): - Accueillant
- Arthur (6/5): - The property is in a great area between Disneyland and Tokyo proper. Staff could use some more edict on friendliness. Had a front desk girl often role her eyes or was extremely annoyed when I had made an extra request for an additional key. Other than the bumps with the front desk and the hospitality of the front desk. I would say the hotel is in a great location and is safe and super clean
- William (8/5): - This was the second APA hotel we stayed in. The property was clean and well maintained. The location for this hotel is quite good for access to transit. The immediate neighborhood is pretty residential so you do have to travel a little bit for entertainment or dinner, but it’s very well situated to go to many neighborhoods. It’s also quiet because of this. It’s an under 30 min trip on the metro to shinjuku, harajuku, Asakusa and ginza, so if you want to see all of those it’s a good location.
- Seline (10/5): - Very helpful and patient answering questions!
- Ricardo (8/5): - Great location
- Esther-Alexandra (10/5): - The hotel staff was great.
- Bob (10/5): - Brekkie options included kids men of nuggets fries and pancakes. Perfect forcthisbold child
- Ma Aizhiel Joy (10/5): - I loved the breakfast!! And staff were all nice!
- Artour (8/5): - Good quiet hotel close to metro and easy to navigate.
- Sergey Ashotovich (8/5): - Very nice and close to everything
- xiao (10/5): - Close to subway stations, room is very small but functional for solo traveler who is out about busy sightseeing. Hotel is quiet and clean. For travelers who needed, remember there are no laundry or onsen in this hotel. This is my first time stay in an APA hotel, not sure if it’s the same with other APA hotels.
- Farshad (6/5): - Rooms are very small.
- Calvin (10/5): - I booked this hotel last minute after my previous accommodation did not meet my expectation. I’d heard of this brand before and my expectations were exceeded. The rooms are small and they do not hide this, but they are laid out very efficiently with room for luggage beneath the bed. It was also nice to see all of the amenities in the room and bathroom. Fast internet! I will definitely stay here next time I’m in the area.
- Barbara (10/5): - Thank you so much for an incredible, quick stay. Extremely kind staff!
- Michael (10/5): - Staff was excellent and knew English
- Wataru (8/5): - Toilet seat was cold. Hope it’s warm like most of toilets in Japan.
- Malinda (10/5): Would stay again! - The room is small, but had everything we needed and was nice and clean. Bed was more comfy than we expected from a budget hotel, and they provided many amenities. Very close to a 7-11 and Lawson, and in a quiet area not packed with tourists.
- Evan (10/5): Perfect! - The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable! Enjoyed the stay!
- Anthony (10/5): Everything was great. 😁 - 3rd Time here, great for links to train system to Tokyo and Narita, will be back again.
Dennys for breakfast, and a couple of convenience stores for everything else we needed.
- Sophie (10/5): - Great
- Christopher (10/5): - Very small but efficient room. Very good value
- Kyle (8/5): - Affordable and close to the train stations.
- Djavaa (10/5): - We had an amazing stay at the APA Hotel in Nihombashibakurocho. It was super convenient - close to a corner store (combini) as well as transportation. The receptionist lady also helped us to contact the cab service when my partner lost his phone during our stay. Despite the language barrier she did her very best to help us.
- Gordon (8/5): Good location - So many AOA hotels in area close to Akihabara and Asakusa. Can not go wrong.
Breakfast options were great. Easy to catch Keisei Skyliner express to NRT
- Noah (10/5): - Excellent facility and friendly staff.
- Luis Jorge Arduz (8/5): - Very nice place to stay in Tokyo area
- Takeshi (6/5): - スタッフが接しやす良い
- Tony (10/5): - Had a lovely time there great staff very clean tube right outside local convenience stores outside will stay again
- Alexander (10/5): - The staff were friendly, helpful, and kept the facility clean. It is also close to several subway lines.
- Michael (10/5): - Everything was excellent from the customer service and experience to the English of the employees, even those who can't speak Japanese can check in and ask questions easily. There are also plenty of places to eat out locally if you don't want to only eat the breakfast in the small restaurant at the hotels ground level with many convenience stores, cafes and restaurants around. It is also very close to Akihabara, with only about a 10 minute walk before the big Akihabara station and the main road.
- Jhoanna (8/5): - great
- Christopher (10/5): - I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years and I’ve been extremely happy with my stay. I find the room slightly bigger than most Apa and this one is a non atrium style hotel which is great. The cleaning crew is top notch polite and fast. Linen is clean beds comfortable and pillows too. There are a lot of amenities and the breakfast at the Malaysian restaurant is worth every penny. This is my goto hotel for stays in Tokyo.
- Richard Anthony (10/5): The best hotel I've stated in - Really great place to stay quiet well sorted for shops close to multiple transport links.
- Ye (10/5): - Clean and cozy room, crazy good tonkatsu place right beside it
- Cecilia (8/5): - Transport convenient
- Yi Ning Cherry (8/5): - The room is bigger than expected. The transportation is convenient but there are not many metro exit with escalators or elevator nearby this property. There are not many restaurants too.
- Xiaomei (10/5): A worthwhile staying - The service is excellent; the room is very clean. However, there is no much space to move around or open our luggage, but it is understandable.
- Christopher (10/5): - Great size room, all the amenities, quiet and easy to get to transit. By far one of the best stays at APA in all the locations we stayed at.
- Jean (8/5): - My check in encountered some setbacks,
but the morning staff was very helpful. Pillows need to be changed out (very flat & hard).
- Paul (10/5): - Great experience
- Jonathan (10/5): - Cery comfy room. Has extra room amenities that make the room even better. If you need a first place to stay in japan to get grounded, i recommend APA.
- Safiatou (8/5): - .
- Jie (10/5): - Very clean hotel room and super nice receptions. I will consider come back to the hotel a month later.
- Masaaki (10/5): - Apa Hotel chain always supplies comfortable and cozy places, besides room size.
- Seyed Amir (10/5): - great
- Megan (8/5): - honestly was good, very clean, def small. the bed touches two walls and is about two feet from the other two walls. This can kinda be seen in there photos but just no it’s tiny. Not a downside just something to be aware of. five minutes form at least two train stations. found moist of the places i wanted to see where at least 30 mins by train away. this was my first time in tokyo so i checked out the major attractions and parts of the city. good central location though
- Lisa (10/5): - Enjoyed my stay thoroughly. Excellent
- Samuel (10/5): - Amazing hotel. Located super close to multiple train lines. Convenience stores everywhere.
- Luiza Maria (10/5): - The staff was really helpful.
- Brendan (8/5): - It was very good but the bathroom was very cramped.
- Luiza Maria (10/5): - .
- Leigh (10/5): - Clean and quiet location, close to multiple rail lines
- Carlos (8/5): - It was nice and really close to stations. Wouldn’t have to walk too far to get to the hotel. Overall a really positive experience during my stay.
- Claudia (10/5): - Very affordable, has everything you need
- William (10/5): - Clean and quiet, nice location very close to train station
- Tyler (10/5): - Decent enough place. Easily accessed by narita, although a bit of a journey. One train got us there instead of transferring multiple times with our bags.
Like other reviews have said, the room is small. It’s basically a queen sized bed filling the corner, then a counter and mini fridge. Storage for your bag under the bed.
Loads of restaurants and markets within a few blocks. There was also a super tasty burger bar about a block away. Walk out of the hotel, turn left and cross the street. Go about a half a block. I believe it was called Monkey Tree. Super tasty burgers. Better than most I’ve had back home.
All in all, no complaints. I’d return here.
- Genesis (10/5): - Loved it. Convenient to subway stations. Amazing breakfast service.
- Ron (8/5): - Good location close to transit
- Aiden (8/5): - Good spot, noisy in mornings lack of soundproof. Good amenities for a good price
- Verified traveler (8/5): Rooms are too small provides the least comfort - As usual the APA hotel rooms are extremely small, don’t even have a space to open my luggage, bathroom is small, gives me bruises everyday, yesterday the knee, today the elbow!!
- Dillan (10/5): Great room, Great amenities - Great room, very comfortable and amazing AC. Breakfast at the partnered restaurant was a great way to start the day. Would definitely stay again.
- Dale (10/5): - The property is within Tokyo city and is a good place as a base with a view to walking around and exploring.
- Charity (8/5): - Service was great!staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English. Bed size was good and comfortable. Toilet size was good compared to other accommodation we’ve stayed in. Hotel replenished our room supplies and changed towels and yukata everyday which was great! Would’ve been nice if the room had its own microwave or at least provided 1 microwave per level so you don’t have to go to level 2 every time. Location was convenience and near 3 stations.
