It would be helpful if information like this is disclosed as the time of booking. The rooms were very small although well kept and beautiful.

Parvekkeella ei ollut mitään kalusteita. Kiva parveke, mutta siellä voi vaan seisoskella tai istua lattialla. Aamiaiselle piti sanoa kellonaika, emme sen takia kokeilleet aamiaistarjontaa. Uudet vesipullot tuotiin oven ulkopuolelle varhain aamulla, kun vielä nukuimme ja roskisten tyhjennystä ja kahveja yms ei täytetty ollenkaan, kuin kolmen päivän jälkeen kun siivosivat huoneen kerran viiden vrk aikana. Sillonkin parvekkeelle oli jäänyt kaikki sateen tuomat roskat. Sänky oli epämukava. Suihkun vesi vaihteli paljon.

- Tsuyoshi (10/5): - コロニアルプライベートスイート2階に泊まりましたが、離れという感じで完全に出入りが独立してしており、プライバシーが保たれます。食事も平日なら右に数十歩でクッティオ屋台、左に数十歩でカオラッケン食堂、斜向かいにはサブウェイや両替商、ソイの入口にはセブン、すぐ見える範囲にKFCやシーロム通りを渡ればトップスと立地の天才です。プール好きには水風呂的な広さで、日焼けする場所もないので残念かも。バルコニーあり、お姫様ベッドあり、このコスパでこのオシャレさはバンコク随一。ハネムーン利用もおすすめです。

The cleanliness staff is top notch. This was our second time and a similar very curt and a non accommodating behaviour by the lady at the reception was a a disappointment yet again. We saw her interacting with other guests of European nationality and while she stated the same non flexible rules to them as she had done to us, her behaviour towards them was very jovial and welcoming. Both the times we’ve stayed with her, she seems to be very unfriendly and cold to us. The rooms however make up for her behaviour so guess o really don’t care much about how she behaves.

Marcus and his team are always happy to see us, they can't do more to make our stay more perfect. I will not stay anywhere else in Bangkok. There is nothing I would change! Love it exactly as it is- consistently wonderful and a hidden oasis with a magical garden in the chaos of a massive city.

Vous avez un Starbucks et un 7/11 à quelques mètres. Chambres comfortables. Petit déjeuner local très bon. Les gérants sont très professionnels et de bons conseils. Je recommande.

- Claire (10/5): Calm oasis - A lovely relaxing place in the middle of bustling Bangkok. The building has an attractive old fashioned feel but is still comfortable and clean. The staff were super helpful and kind. We had a delicious Thai breakfast The pool is a bit small for swimming and is more of a visual feature but given the boutique style of the hotel that isn't surprising.

Appreciated refillable water delivery. Didn’t take advantage of the pool or food, too busy racing round Bangkok. 7-11 a couple of minutes away.

The room is basic, but has everything you need if you wanna explore the city and just use the hotel to sleep. The BTS is 10 minutes walk. Everything is a bit older, but it’s clean. Staff is friendly, we didn’t have much contact with them but it was ok.

- Alex (10/5): - Lovely property just off the Main Street avoiding all the noise of traffic. Service was excellent from all of the staff, very accommodating and welcoming. We arrived at 5am into Bangkok and knew we would be waiting a while for check-in. We were able to check in early around 10am which was extremely accommodating of the property as check in normally is 2pm. The rooms are lovey and spacious, and has the nicest bed I’ve ever slept on. All of the toiletries and free water was also a very nice touch. The location is also in a very nice spot. The only thing with the location is you’re 15 minutes away from the station, which can be quite far in the heat. That being said, it was still a lovely location to say in and we would stay here again if we ever visit Bangkok again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!

It has lots of earing places around and also massage places . 7/11 s ect so very central and convenient. It may be a bit far to main places if tou want to viait particular places like the pallace temples ect def need to get a taxi and sometimes thats not available duw to crazy traffic . So if you have shorr stay location is excellent . Walking distance to state tower and the cube sky walk . The room was great wveeyrhing you need ,they made it pleasant and clean but veey heavy humidity mold smell .

- Jukebox696969 (10/5): Amazing peaceful retreat - What an amazing little peaceful retreat this was. After reading the reviews this was exactly what I was looking for. Somewhere small and personal but also luxurious. Room was amazing, we had a private colonial suite and it was huge. Big bed with private balcony. Small plunge pool here also which was great for a cool off after a long day. Takes around 45 mins to 1 hour to get here from the airport, expect to pay around 400bht in a cab/grab. Lots of great bars, restaurants and shops all within a short walk. Bottled water provided fresh each day. Great street food nearby as well which we tried most of it! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a smaller more personal feeling hotel but still in a great location.

Beautiful colonial building, beautifully maintained and located down a quiet soi off Silom Road. Leafy grounds with beautiful shaded areas to sit with beautiful vintage outdoor settings. Check in easy and really great explanation of stay. We booked the biggest room with bath in bathroom. Room was large, high ceilings and beautifully appointed. Great comfy king bed and mattress great and pillows joyful with choice of puffy or non Puffy pillow. Everything about this stay was joyful. Located near great eateries and great coffee places. On fringe of bangrak . Loved everything no negatives here.

- Caron (6/5): Beautiful hotel with loud guests that ruined stay. - I booked the best Colonial room here and it was clean and pretty. There was an antique display cabinet which had corners that stuck out so I was careful when walking near it. The pool and courtyard were relaxing and well maintained. My room was clean. It was located in a great area. The front desk closed around 10 PM. The security guard did not speak English. There were three or four loud men staying underneath my room. They loudly talked until almost 1 AM. As a solo female traveller, I did not want to tell them to please lower their voices or stop talking for my safety. I had to be up at 6 AM for a flight. Beautiful hotel with guests that ruined my sleep and stay. There was a hotel info. sheet in the room that said to please be quiet after 10 PM.

- PallaviChn (10/5): Highly recommended! - This is an amazing place with a homelike quaint feel and having all modern amenities. It is very clean and centrally located in the city. You will encounter many friendly cats in the premises, in case you are a cat lover. I had a lovely time staying here on a solo trip. Marcus was a very friendly and accommodating host. I loved their food as well. This is a highly recommended place to stay if you are in Bangkok.

- Kristina (10/5): - This is a fabulous spot in Bangkok that I highly reccommend to everyone! Feels like a home away from home. Not many rooms so the staff are attentive and the service is personal. The pool offers a refreshing dip after a hot day in the city. The location is perfect - about 10 min walk to Surasak BTS or you can walk the other way to the river to catch ferries or boats. A 7-11 right on the corner and lots of food stalls pop up on the otherwise very quiet street. Beautiful hotel, do not hesitate to book here!

- BillyMousa23 (10/5): A Charming And Lovely Place - My sister and I stayed for two nights in this lovely and quaint hotel. An old house has been converted in a charming hotel stay. The Pros: 1)Has a very old-school charm, which is such a welcome sign in such a busy Bangkok 2)Though located at a good location, still the street is quiet and peaceful. We were there during Songkran, still the whole road was so peaceful 3)The location is excellent, with bus stops, 7/11s, money exchange, malls, cheap and expensive food choices, massage places and really good cafes all walking distance. 4)The lady who sat and checked us in, spoke great english and explained really well if we had any doubts 5)The bed was comfortable and the room was spotless. The Cons: 1)We had to help the lady to take our luggage be it after check-in or check out. 2)The bathroom door, I wish was a little different. There were slits as the old style. But due to that: lights, sounds and even smell not fully enclosed. 3)Generally I do not like, the AC to be above my head, as I get headache. I prefer to the side or even in front. 4)I really wish there was a proper cupboard. As they had only an open space to hang your clothes. I wanted to fold and keep properly inside a cupboard. I will still book next time and come, as I felt at peace at this stay. There was a je ne sais quoi charm and feel. Thank You Baan Vajra for such lovely start to our vacation in Thailand.

Customer service excellent. My sister reported a problem with her air con and it was fixed the same day. Can call taxis for guests to airports at reasonable price. 10min walk from BTS. Many good restaurants nearby. Would stay again!
- Tim (10/5): - Absolutely exquisite boutique hotel in the heart of Bangkok. Wonderful service, delightful room and the best most comfortable bed and bedding I have slept in for over 60 years. Set in a beautiful courtyard with fish ponds and beautiful trees this hotel will not disappoint. Forget the big chains, this is the best stay I’ve ever had in any major city.
- Birte (9/5): Comfortable and friendly welcome to Bangkok. - The pretty and beautifully maintained old property, in the hustle and bustle of busy Silom, was an oasis of peace and charm. Nothing at all! The only improvement could be that the air con was not behind the bed, as the fan blowing on me kept me awake
- Amy (10/5): - This was a beautiful hotel and a great location. It was within walking distance to plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, convenience stores and grocers. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. My only wishes would be next time they replace seating, to upgrade to a better quality. The quality of sofa and bench cushion really didn’t fit with the quality of the rest of the room or hotel - it was uncomfortable and something I would expect to see at a discount furniture store. Still, this was a top hotel throughout my trip to Thailand. I would absolutely stay again.
