• Francesca (10/5): - Stanza molto grande, dotata di ogni comfort (addirittura cucina con tostapane, microonde, fornelli, macchina del caffè). Vista bellissima! Unica sbavatura per un italiano l’assenza del bidet, ma per pochi giorni si può sopravvivere tranquillamente senza.

The view of the Duomo is breathtaking, the apartment is right on the steps. The rooms are large and comfortable and beautifully decorated and styled. It was just a lovely place to stay as well as being very convenient.

• Pietro (10/5): Fine settimana nel cuore di Ragusa Ibla con la magia del duomo in camera - La vista incredibile dal balcone sul Duomo: sembra di toccarlo! E quindi la posizione in pieno centro. La camera ristrutturata sapientemente conservando il fascino dell’epoca con un affresco molto bello sul tetto a volta, ben arredata e con un angolo cucina a scomparsa completo di tutto (anche di lavastoviglie). Inoltre, contrariamente a molte strutture che ormai dedicano agli ospiti solo il contatto tramite app, siamo stati accolti da una persona molto gentile e disponibile. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo! Niente di sbagliato! Tutto ok anche se la struttura essendo in un palazzo antico non ha l’ascensore e quindi la sconsiglio a chi non ha la possibilità o la voglia di farsi qualche rampa di scala a piedi.

Nice to have supplies of coffee, tea, sugar, etc. Difficult to carry luggage up the stairs. The dryer was not working. The pull out bed in the kitchen/dining room. It would be better in the living room. There was a stuffy smell coming from the bathrooms but it got better once we aired it out.

• wendy (10/5): - Fantastic location, a beautiful appartment, modernised to a very high standard in a beautiful well maintained historic building with superb views. We loved it, the use of the washing and drying facilities was a great plus too. There was paid parking close by, about a 5 minute walk away which was very reasonably priced and convenient. I would highly recommend Appartamenti Vista Duomo. I only wish we had had more than 3 days there. Will defiantly book again next time we are in Ragusa Ibla. Thank you guys at Pomelia ☺️ We didn't have more time there
• Christopher (10/5): Absolutely perfect in a stunning location - it just needs an iron and ironing board in each room. - Excellent apartment. It is on the top floor so there are plenty of stairs, which we knew about in advance. Some sections have no handrail which would have been helpful when carrying up our luggage. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and had a very comfortable bed. The view over the Duomo is unforgettable and we were lucky enough to see a wedding whilst we were there. We booked this apartment as it had shared use of a washing machine in a laundry room off the landing between the three apartment. The tumble dryer wasn’t working which wasn’t an issue, but it is silly not to provide an iron for each apartment. They are not expensive. There are three drying racks, so we took one into the apartment to dry our washing. We could not do any ironing until the next day though. The only iron had been kept by other guests in one of the apartments and the cleaner retrieved it once they had checked out. Oddly enough, they hadn’t bothered to use the only ironing board. Irons and ironing boards are cheap, there should be one for each apartment. We were travelling very light and depended on being able to do laundry and not being able to iron anything really is not good enough for me.
• Beverley (10/5): Incredible apartment and view - Absolutely incredible! The apartment was stunning. Very comfortable bed, great shower and well appointed kitchen. But the view was the best part. Opening the doors and seeing the cathedral never got old. We watched a wedding procession on our first day there! The property managers were very responsive and helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer!

• Angela (9/5): Fabulous location in the heart of Ragusa Ibla - The location right in the piazza. The bells are loud and constant which we didn’t mind at all but worth being aware of. The apartment is excellent with everything you need. The sitting / lounge room did not have chairs we could really lounge on but it was a minor problem.
• Lueng (10/5): Perfect location - Perfect location with amazing views ! Vista Duomo really is just that , waking up to look over the Piazza and Duomo is such a treat . Cafes and restaurants are a stones throw away and a small convenience store across the road. The apartment has everything you need , air con, washer /clothes dryer etc. Its beautifully decorated and although modern touches are present , you truly feel the beauty of a Baroque Palazzo. Staff are fantastic, this place is a must book if coming to Ragusa. Nothing , everything was amazing

It is in a strategic location to have both amazing views and close proximity to everything Ibla has to offer. The staff were very accommodating with check in and check out and ensured we had a wonderful stay . The bonus of a laundry room was great! I would absolutely stay here again , wonderful apartment. Nothing, the accommodation is perfect 👌

• Andrew (9/5): Amazing property with a huge, beautifully decorated space, literally next door to the Duomo but a long walk uphill from - Huge space, very clean and beautiful decor Not enough coffee for the amount of time we stayed. Walk up hill from parking spot with luggage in the searing heat was not fun. Hosts could have provided better info about parking options. Ourselves we found free parking closer to the property

Con sorpresa abbiamo scoperto che dopo il tramonto la temperatura scende sensibilmente determinando gradevoli notti fresche Avcettabili comunque i 2 piani di scale per raggoungere l’appartamento.

• Jamie (10/5): A little palace with unbelievable views - We stayed in 5 different towns during our Sicily trip, and this apartment was the nicest by far. It's huge, has unbelievable views, all new appliances and fixtures, and is quiet at night. On our last day, it was pouring rain and the hosts let us stay all day in our little palace - so nice of them!! There's nothing we didn't like.

Beautiful view, clean well stocked room. - Spectacular view from balcony, easy check in, clean facilities, wonderful shower, voucher for coffee and pastry from local restaurant close by. Room was well stocked with coffee, water, and some treats. No complaints! Accessibility may be problematic for some as parking was a 5-10 min walk and there are a few flights of stairs to the apartment. These were not issues for my family and we knew about them in advance. Only highlighting in case someone reading may be impacted by them.

• Laurence (9/5): No better place to experience festival of San Giorgio - Unbeatable location overlooking the Piazza for festival of San Giorgio. In the heart of the action. Surprisingly, parking, though not close by, at least worked out. Staff was very helpful and nice. Be prepared for two flights of steep stairs to carry luggage. Nonfunctional light in stairway for more a day was dangerous, but fixable.

• J (10/5): A very special stay - This apartment is very special, it is well appointed beautifully finished and in an incredible position in the old town very close to the duomo. The bedrooms are large light and airy, the kitchen well equipped and the three bathrooms mean sharing with friends is very easy. We had a couple of issues with the hot water and the downstairs door but our concerns were immediately addressed by the owner. The apartment is 50 stairs up so you need to be in good health!

The location was amazing - overlooking the steps of the Duomo and Piazza Duomo and therefore central in the historic area's restaurants, shops, and sites. The rooms were quite large, spotless, the kitchen well equipped and stocked with a few goodies. Check-in and out was seamless and the people who checked us in were very friendly and informative of what was going on during our stay. The only tip I have is to have them show you (and you practice) how to open the front door with the key as it was a bit tricky for us to figure out on our own, but once we did no problem! Highly recommend this!

Large, beautiful room with original tile floor, kitchenette. Staff was very helpful. this property is a 10, but you must know that you have to climb two long, steep flights of stairs with your luggage. not safe if you have bad joints or cardio-respiratory problems. also, should have directions in English on how to use safe and washer/dryer.

Loved the 3 bathrooms. There is NO LIFT which is ok but can be 3 flights up marble steps! Mattresses were very hard. Would have been nice to have “lounges” to sit on rather than chairs for families.

• Mary (9/5): Wonderful Apartment with Gorgeous Views - This is a gorgeous apartment with lovely views from all the windows. You have the famous duomo and the countryside and charming rooftops below. It is clean, spotless and very modern. Not very "cosy" but we liked the modern look. The hosts checked a couple of times to make sure all was okay. They provided biscuits, long life milk (so welcome because the mini market was closed) and water as well as oil, salt, detergent etc. We would stay here again without hesitation. There was a nice big kitchen table. The showers were wonderful. The heating was excellent and easy to control. The sitting room is a bit bare - a bit like a reception area. The armchairs are modern but not very comfortable. It would be nice to add a sofa. The stairs- it's about three flights of stairs and they are quite deep. The washing machine and dryer are communal- shared with two other flats. This wasn't a problem when we used it but might be awkward when the place is busy.

The living room area felt a bit like Waitingroom and was missing a couch. There were modern Lounge chairs and smal tables but overall the room didnt invite to hangout.

• Caroline (10/5): Ragusa Ibla beautiful apartment - The view of the cathedral from the apartment was exceptional. The hosts were amazing and so helpful during our stay in a severe storm. The apartment was very well stocked and beautifully presented, in a perfect location opposite the cathedral. The apartment is decorated in the style of the original building, matching the 18th century wallpaper and ceiling. Highly recommended! Nothing.

• Boris (8/5): Great location, nicely furnished, minor problem with the hot water - location, views, furnishings, appliances Had a bit of a problem with the hot water. On the first night there was no hot water in any bathroom. We called the host and the problem was partially resolved next day - 2 out of 3 bathrooms got the hot water, but not the master bathroom, I guess, because it was the furthest from the boiler. However, since the other 2 bathrooms had it, this wasn’t a big deal.
• Heather (10/5): Excellent apartment in an historic central palazzo with a view over the cathedral. - What a totally amazing apartment : the photos do not do it justice. It is located on the top floor of a traditional palazzo and combines original features, with modern, clean bathroom and kitchen facilities, topped with an incredible view over the cathedral. Excellent value. Despite its central location the apartment was quiet. Leaving.
