Marea (2/5): - The bed was very comfortable. The porch and steps are dangerous after dark, there is no lighting at all on the porch or in the nearby area, one had to feel your way along the porch and steps and hope they didn't fall in the process. The shared toilet/shower block needs and urgent upgrade. The basins are about to fall off the wall, and when standing outside the building or passing you look straight into a toilet cubical, not a nice look nor is it very private for the user.

Hermansen (3/5): This room was okay for one night while passing through, however, I would not stay any longer. - lovely location, and has the potential of being a lovely park. The park needs a lot of work to make it up to srcatch. There were no lights on our cabins, making it very dangerous in the dark. The sink in the shared bathroom was rotten, I am surprised that the sink hadn't fallen through.

The heating was insufficient. It was very dark outside at night and I had to use my phone light to go to the toilet block. Quite expensive for what you get. I booked another two nights in Porepunkah. A 2 bedroom self contained cabin for the same price.

Daniel (3/5): Only worth it at less than half what I paid. Then the experience would match expectation - Location was good Charged $276 for one night stay for foam mattresses on built in bed frames. Can’t close the door without bolting it shut. Had people with the verandah lights on till 10.30 pm which the blinds don’t block out, and then some up from 4-4.30 am with verandah lights on again. Expected a lot more for what was paid. My fault I didn’t check to see there were no towels included but for $276 a night I assumed in a cabin they would be supplied. First photo that came up for the accommodation was a lot less than experienced.

Inability to close amenities door which would have been warmer on freezing mornings. A sign needed in each cabin to remind people the walls are paper thin, have respect and be quiet, especially late at night. I was woken and kept awake from 10:15pm the night before my race. No plates, cups, utensils etc in kitchen. Not able to access internal kitchen when can’t use cabins for this, too small.

Melissa (7/5): Busy little spot - How close it was to the Brighter Days festival site. Was walking distance to it. And most of all the coffee van at the entrance. Some improvements look they are starting to be done around the grounds. Shower blocks were clean and water hot. And same for the communal outdoor area. Nice touch with the BBQ, pizza oven, though the table tops are lifting. I think there can be a few easy fixes like flyscreens on the windows, proper door handles that allow you to close the door without having to lock people in or out of the room. And maybe air cons, not just a pedalstal fan, stayed hot and stuffy in the room. Not alot of space with 4 of us in the room plus our suitcases, felt like we were tripping over each other.
Steven (1/5): I couldn’t stay in the room. It was not suitable conditions for anyone to sleep in. I slept on the couch of a friends pl - The cabin I booked was in very poor condition. Upon arrival, there was a bolt lock with a padlock attached with the key inside. Upon opening the door to the cabin, a wave of very hot air rushed out. The cabin was extremely hot and the fan that was installed inside did nothing to cool the room down. I didn’t like that there was a bolt lock on the outside of the door too. I felt very unsafe with that as it’s easy to be locked in the room. Ventilation was terrible. Unable to expel the hot air that was in the room. The window had no fly screen to prevent any flys, mosquitos or midges from entering. Cost for the room was way too high for what you get.

I needed accomodation very last minute on one of the busiest weekends, so there was not much available but very glad we got to check this place out. Would highly recommend, especially anyone wanting to use the Mystic mountain bike park. Park staff were very friendly and the cabin was clean, with great beds and air conditioning. Toilet and shower facilities are a little dated, but work perfectly.

Jalil (1/5): I wish we had a good experience together, we were very disappointed unfortunately. - It was our first tiny family camping with our 55 days old newborn baby girl. When I booked the cabin I was under the impression that the cabins that are shown in the pictures is what I have booked. And we felt happy and lucky to be able to secure a place because we have our new born child. But when we reached to the spot it wasn’t what we expected. We were directed to the cabin 11 which was extremely hot for a new born child. Not sure if it was the room it self or the bedding it was very stinky. We had to come out in the cabana soon we entered the room. We had to contact our family friend and asked them to accommodate us for a night until we booked a room the next day. I contacted the manager there and she was very friendly and nice but couldn’t help us. Everting, except the staff

Close proximity to town and the recreational areas, cooking facilities were great and clean. The access off the street isn’t friendly for lower cars, but I understand this may be out of the companies control/property line. But as the majority of cars will be 4x4s diverts in the ground is probably unavoidable.

Amy (5/5): - It was a good distance to town, and was affordable. The shower blocks weren’t family friendly. Would be good to have a couple of shower cubicles where family’s can go together to shower their babies/ young children, it’s hard to shower a baby and get them dry and dressed on your own then do the same to yourself when there isn’t a stool or seat to pop them on. I couldn’t hand my baby to my husband because there were people changing/dressing in the toilet block. Even if the shower areas had a seat or more space in them it would be helpful.
