- Istichane (7/5): - Accueil chaleureux
Excellent petit déjeuner, varié et copieux
Bon emplacement
- Gina (8/5): The manor is an ideal overnight stop for the ferry crossing to Portsmouth. - The house and grounds are beautiful and kept maintained. The bed was comfortable and we slept well that night. The parking is good and secluded and right next to the house. The house has an interesting history but unfortunately ours was a quick overnight stop so we had little time to read its history. Our dog was made welcome and for a very reasonable additional cost (5 euro) it was the best value we have come across. The room was comfortable but the house is very old and the bathroom quite dusty (ceilings). This didn't bother one of us but the other thought the cleaning could be improved. Also, and this seems common nowadays, there were far too many cushions on the bed, which invariably end up either on chairs or on the floor. A lack of restaurants within walking distance meant we had to drive. The recommended area nearest to us had no parking left at all - it was a lovely Friday evening so perhaps to be expected. We drove on towards Dinard where we found a creperie - not our choice at the seaside but it was all that we could find available.

- Paul (10/5): Beautiful 300 Yr Old Pet Friendly Manor House - Stunning 300 year old manor house, oak floors, wood panels. Well loved by the owners. Yes a bit tired in some places but so would you be at 300 years old. Good shower, bed was very comfortable. We were with our Border Collie and it was perfect. Beautiful grounds to run our dig, owner loves dogs and we all had breakfast in a beautiful dining room with open fire, lots of choice. Free parking in the grounds, breakfast included and dog friendly + great value. Nothing not to like.
- PASCAL (8/5): - Cadre authentique Zone commerciale a proximité
- Nadine (9/5): Beautiful charming manoir on the outskirts of St. Malo - We had a beautiful room in this charming manoir. Very good breakfast and very kind and helpful hosts.

- Gabrielle (10/5): A beautiful house, your are treated like one of the family, our dogs were made to feel welcome too. - Well presented continental breakfast and plenty of choice. There was nothing that we did not like
- GUYON (1/5): Un tue l'amour - Rien.
- Debbie (9/5): Fabulous house very comfy stay - Lovely historic house full of character but still very homely an open fire in the dining room ! If you like characterful non corporate places I would recommend Nothing

- Guillaume (8/5): - L'accueil
La partie relaxation
Le petit déjeuner
- Andy (7/5): A pleasant place to stay for a few nights - Lovely building and view of the garden
A nice fire in the lounge every morning
Helpful host
Great breakfast
Quiet/good bed so good sleep
Access to supermarket
Easy parking
Easy access to roads out of town Some fixtures in room weren’t great - plugs loose, curtain too high to open/close without using a pole, basin slow to drain
Busy roads around hotel
- Manto (10/5): -
- Severine (8/5): -
- Kevin (4/5): Poor. - Nice historic house, though we did not have time to appreciate the gardens. Owner was very welcoming. Breakfast yoghurts were four days out of date and the orange juice jug was grubby. Really took the edge off our short stay. Hard to recommend.

Helemaal niets
- Michael (9/5): Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. - Tolle Unterkunft in einer Art Herrenhaus, schöner Blick vom Schlafzimmerfenster in den schloßparkähnlichen Garten. Antike Ausstattung.
Trotz der Nähe zur Hauptstraße sehr ruhig.
Sehr gutes Frühstück, stilvoll im Salon serviert.
- Victoria (8/5): - Great location, beautiful property and garden, dog friendly, excellent breakfast.
- Catherine (9/5): A really charming overnight stay close to the ferry terminal - A beautiful, characterful B&B within 10 minutes drive of the ferry terminal. Quiet, with good parking and a really splendid breakfast. Like nearly all old houses, there was a bit of dodgy plumbing and not enough plug sockets.
- Sandra (7/5): -
- Sara (7/5): -
- Ignace (10/5): Exceeded my exceptions by a large margin - Luxury room at budget pricing, superb breakfast, soundproof room (exceptional for a Hotel!), relaxed atmosphere, facilities, very friendly staff. Frankly, I hesitated booking this because of the less favourable reviews. But having been there in person, I guess things have improved considerably, because this turned out to be my favourite place during our Normandie / Bretagne vacation. This Hotel was a great experience all around. Outstanding - spacious room, quiet, great breakfast, friendly staff and owner: all at a budget price. I can't think of anything to complain about.
- Ralph (8/5): -
- Daphne (8/5): Enjoyable - Ambiance N/a
- eamonn (9/5): Great property and will visit again. - Really interesting property, clean and comfortable, great grounds, delicious breakfast and welcoming hosts. Also, great location for the ferry port. The family room was perfect for a family of 5.
- Casbard (10/5): Fab stop over before the ferry - We loved the family suite with its spiral staircase and Jules Verne theme. Very comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast. Great shower. Lovely English speaking host. Kids loved it too. Quick drive to the harbour and ferry. Very close to the aquarium. Only there one night but could have stayed longer. NA
- Simon (9/5): A wonderful place to stay! - A beautiful house with lots of character- felt like we were going back in time!

- Lisa (8/5): Great for what we wanted - Perfect place to stay either for a long visit to St Malo or, as we did, used it the night before getting the morning ferry. It's a gorgeous property with lovely gardens and a small swimming pool - perfect for chilling out after a hot day. It was also important to us to have parking so that was useful. Breakfast was very nice It is just off of a main road - the whole area has clearly built up around the house (built many hundreds of years ago). This can also be a positive though as it makes getting there simple. We used bikes to get into St Malo, which is I think about 3k away (or 10 minutes by car).
The house is actually closed from 10am - 4pm, which was fine for us as we parked our vehicle there at 3 and went out on bikes. I don't know what happens if you are staying there longer so worth checking this first - ie if you have access when staying longer.
- David (7/5): Good -
- Philip (8/5): Very good -
- Heather (9/5): Pleasantly surprised to stay in a house like this for such good value Breskfast very good - Beautiful property La Baronnie a late 17th century historic house
Grounds beautiful plus a modern seimming pool Bathroom could do with attention to grouting and shower head fitted to the wall
- Isobel (8/5): Relaxing traditional guesthouse - The grounds were lovely very relaxing and owner very helpful A good few mozzies in the room
- Christina (8/5): - The staff were wonderful - kind and very helpful!
- Martin (10/5): Great place for a short stay in Saint Malo. - Very well located for the ferry terminal, but lovely and peaceful. The grounds are amazing and our room was very spacious. Very comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast.
- John (8/5): Would stay again if we were in the area - Great 17th century Manor House, with many original features. Beautiful gardens and a great breakfast. Very easy with the dog and 10 minutes to the car ferry.
- Frank (9/5): Superb - Very charming, very clean, very old. We liked it very much. It is like sleeping in a museum! Moments which you will not forget. The Host is very friendly and open and helpful. The garden around is like a garden from a fairy tail!
- Carol (10/5): Exceptional - Great atmosphere, lots of character. Good breakfast.
- Roger (8/5): - Interesting
