Chris (5/5): Remote rustic in nature. - It was a beautiful view. It it's far to reach and the frogs at night are very loud. Not their fault but something to consider. The staff was friendly but for the price I would expect better service i.e food was alright but for Vietnam it's usually better. Breakfast was very minimal no fresh fruit besides apples.

Mark (5/5): Not worth the price. More of a ‘rustic eco cottage’. - Not worth the price. More ‘rustic eco cottage’ than ‘lodge’. I’d suggest $25 usd per night maximum. We paid $60 usd. Cockroaches in bathroom and bedroom at night. Pool was GREEN from algae and not suitable to swim in. Very out of the way. 1hr off the main road to HaGiang, up winding and at times dangerously tight roads. Beautiful scenery and location. Bungalows perched over a dam full of frogs so if you’re not used to nature sounds, you may not sleep well. Was probably good when new but has not stood up well to ageing. Do not ride here unless you are an experienced rider. Take a driver/car. When you arrive, there is nothing else in the area so you can only get food at the restaurant. Food was very nice. No fridge, no aircon. Staff very nice. Cockroaches in bathroom and bedroom at night. Pool was GREEN from algae and not suitable to swim in. Was probably good when new but has not stood up well to ageing. No fridge
Julien (10/5): - Accueil chaleureux et familial Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis comme des membres de la famille. Notre hôte était aux petits soins, comme à la maison. Nourriture comme dans un très bon restaurant vietnamien, délicieuse et authentique. Nous avons goûté aux plats traditionnaux vietnamiens de la région et nous nous sommes régalés. Visite et trek avec un guide adorable. Il a était un excellent accompagnateur, à l'écoute de nos envies de la plus belle des manières. Nous avons eu l'occasion de découvrir la région et ses habitants, au plus près de leur culture. Nous avons visité des villages traditionnels, rencontré des familles locales et appris beaucoup sur leur mode de vie. Séjour authentique et mémorable au delà de nos espérances. Nous avons séjourné dans un cadre magnifique, loin de l'effervescence de Sapa, et profité du calme et de la nature pour nous ressourcer. Merci pour tout....CẢM ƠN
Mathi (10/5): Mathi n nis in vietnam - Best resort experience, deserves a two night stay but one night was enough for us to cherish the place. The staff were very helpful especially the young lady vien who helped us with the route to reach ha giang even after checking out from their resort. She was constantly in touch through watsapp making sure that we were taking the right roads because the main roads shown in Google maps were under repair.

Nhu (10/5): - Beautiful scenery, all the staffs are very kind and nice. If you need a place to calm and relax your mind then this is definitely a place to go. Will worth every sec of your time. Make sure to contact the hotel first they will help guide your way there.
Nim (6/5): Pleasant - Need to detour about 30km+ to Thôn Nậm Hồng where the lodge located. This distance took and extra hour+ of roller coaster ride. The bungalow is built above a rice terrace, frogs croaking is audile through the night. Waken up by birds chirping is pleasant experience for me. Love the privacy and tranquility overall. Cleanliness can be further improved considering the price paid per night, You have no other option but to dine in the restaurant. Menu is pretty standard
Betsey (10/5): Hoang Su Phi Lodge is a treasure and will always conjure up special memories for our family. - The stay at Hoang Su Phi was magical. Hien took extraordinary care of us. We felt like family. The meals were exceptional and she went above and beyond to make sure our large family was cared for. The placement in the hills was magnificent with panoramic views across a stunning vista. Hien arranged a trek with a local guide, Sai, who brought us through the rice terraces and to an incredible home-stay lunch. This is truly a memory of a lifetime. The only thing that we didn't like was that we had to leave so soon.
Alissa (7/5): Good - The location is amazing and worth the journey there. The rooms were pretty basic for the price, the bathroom is basically in the same room and you can hear other people. It feels like you are camping rather than in a lodge. At the end of our stay we were overcharged for many things such as double the price for dinner. I had to review this several times with the receptionist. It felt as though they were trying their best to add in a few hidden charges.
Jason (1/5): Hoang Su Phi area amazing however reset expectations regarding accommodation - The area Hoang Su Phi is stunning. The Staff (Hien) was amazing and a great help to us. The cost is much to high for what it is. The marketing should say rustic or eco instead of lodge. The bungalows do not have any sound proofing so you can hear everything your next door bungalows says or does. The bungalows themselves are very simple. The staff took our passports and after unsuccessfully asking a few times politely for them to return our passports over the next day, we got them back after demanding for them. The light on the walk back to bungalows was not working and dangerous as we could not see where we were going at night. The food is also overpriced for what you get but you don't have a choice as there is nothing else around. The transport cost to arrive or leave is expensive however there are not many options unless you self ride or drive.
Alison (4/5): It is beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves but there were a lot of problems. - The location was stunning. The atmosphere was relaxing. The bed was comfy. The swimming pool. There were cockroaches in the bedroom bathroom and inside the mosquito net. The service was poor and took no care of the customers at all. The people working were nice but unprofessional and only one person spoke a bit of English. This person wouldn’t listen and couldn’t understand causing us to almost miss the bus. The food is not good, probably normal for the mountains but was three times the price of other local places serving the same. There was an implication that if we don’t do as they say they will keep our passports or not book our driver to take us back down the mountain and this was very uncomfortable.

Line (9/5): Stunning heaven place - Stunning view above the clouds from your byngalow and same from the swimming pool. It is very peaceful and amazing. Dont miss the one day trek with wich we have a lot of fun especially during the lunch with the family! Thanks a lot to Le who run the place and help us a lot for the come back to Hanoi. it is in middle of ricefield and jungle so spiders are living there

Karla (10/5): - We had the best stay at Hoang Su Phi Lodge. The location is exquisite with the most amazing views. The room looks exactly like the pictures, with crisp white bedding, new towels and great facilities. The staff is lovely, they cooked us a delicious dinner and tasty pancakes for breakfast. I will definitely recommend it to anyone.
