- Beatrix (9/5): Nice oasis close to all amenities. - Landlady so friendly, kind and helpful. We rented rooms which was good. They have a rwo bedroom apartment as well which would perfectly suit a family. Can recommend the accommodation without a doubt. Would have liked coffee/ tea facilities in every room, but for the good price understandabily not included
- Gina (3/5): Wouldn't recommend - It was clean with a comfortable bed & great shower It said in the advert that it was 10 miles away from Korcula but it is in fact 28! The location was awful as it said it had parking but to get to it, in a medium sized car was nearly impossible due to the narrow & secuetus approach The neighbour opposite was singing v badly & at the top of his lungs & sounded drunk until late into the night. Many of the inside lights didn't work, neither did one of the outside electric blinds. The kettle lid wouldn't stay closed so I had to put something on top of it to keep it closed. The fridge/freezer wasn't cold on arrival as it was set wrongly

The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and everything worked without any issues. Everything was exactly as in the pictures, if not even better. The hosts deserve special praise,they are very kind, approachable, and always ready to help if anything is needed. All in all, a very lovely experience and definitely a place we would happily return to again.

- maarten (9/5): Guesthouse Mara is een prima keuze - Het meest prettige aan deze lokatie is de besloten achtertuin met sinaasappelboom waar je heerlijk kunt zitten, je fiets stallen en je wasje laten drogen (emmer en droogrek beschikbaar). Verder is Mara heel vriendelijk, is het appartement heel ruim met een aparte slaapkamer en ligt het guesthouse op een steenworp afstand van de ‘boulevard’ van Vela Luka. Geen negatieve punten

- David (9/5): Roomy well located apartment - The unit was roomy with a nice front porch and very well located to access everything in Vela Luka. The host greeted us with homemade grappo and was quickly available for any question we had. The room darkening rolling shutters were most welcome as well. A couple of lesser concerns - there were no shower products available at all, the shower itself was tiny, and the wall between us and the unit next door was very thin (it was only occupied one of the nights but we heard everything).

- Magdalena (10/5): A very nice apartment and owner - The owner was very kind and responsive. The apartment was very clean and well equipped
- Bojana (10/5): - The property is central to Vela Luka’s restaurants, cafes and boats that take you to various islands. All for a reasonable price. It’s super clean and modern, house is made of stone but the rooms are newly renovated and very clean. The owner Mara is so warm and friendly, she offered Rakija upon arrival which was really special. Will definitely come back for a visit.

Posebno nam se svidjelo to što je soba u centru mjesta,a opet mir i tišina. Naspavali smo se kao nikad do sada😀Plaža je jako blizu i imaju terasu za večernje druženje. - Erna (8/5): Fijn appartement op ideale locatie - Het appartement zat echt op een toplocatie vanaf het centrum van Vela Luka. Verder is het ruim (behalve de badkamer/douche cabine, mijn man is best groot en voor hem was dit wel wat minder). Sommige dingen zijn wat verouderd, maar je ziet dat er liefde in dit appartement wordt gestopt. Het leuke is dat je buiten op je eigen terrasje kan zitten. Verder lag het bed voor ons echt prima en bij aankomst kregen we een zelfgemaakte grappa. Ook gaf de eigenaresse ons tips wat we vooral moesten gaan ontdekken in de omgeving. Relatief kleine badkamer. Als je een wat groter iemand bent, is dit wat minder.

Mara and her family were incredible hosts so welcoming and friendly, I felt at home straight away , the room was above my expectation very clean air con , added bonus of use of fridge and outside courtyard , with a beautiful big orange tree to shelter from the Croatian sunshine.

Pored svih predviđenih sadržaja, izuzetne lokacije (sa parking mestom), nadomak šetališta (praktično na šetalistu), domaćini, predivna Mara i Dario, učiniće vas boravak posebnim. Osećaćete se kao da ste stigli kući, kod rođaka ili starih prijatelja. Na nekoliko dana postajete meštani, pravi "starosedeoci" Vela Luke, a taj osećaj nema cenu. Već pravim plan za sledeću godinu, za malo duzi boravak 🥰

L’appartement manque un peu d’insonorisation, ce qui fait que l’on entend facilement les voisins s’ils sont bruyants. Le bruit de la chasse d’eau est aussi assez long et peut être dérangeant. Quelques petites attentions supplémentaires, comme du gel douche, auraient été appréciées. Cela dit, ces détails sont largement compensés par l’amabilité de l’hôte et le confort du lit, qui rendent le séjour agréable.

- sarita (7/5): - Nada, solo Mara, muy simpática y agradable, nos costo llegar estaba muy adentro....peeo contesta los mensajes, enseguida, ella se lleva los galardón es, no el lugar, Totalmente diferente a todo lo que alquilamos en croacia, mínimo el cuarto, sin una silla ni estante para apoyar, decía tenía un afuera y no había ni mesa ni sillas ni sombra, para usar la jarra debías sacar agua del tu baño y nada para apoyar y hacerte un café, tampoco donde tender la ropa, la verdad que me desilusionó, eran mis últimas 3 noches en croacia, y le había puesto todo, y me defraudó.totalmente, estuve muy incomoda.

- Katarína (8/5): - Páčila sa mi úzka ulička, v ktorej bolo ubytovanie. Terasu sme mali rovno v tej uličke a bolo to milé. Majitelia boli milí, uvítali nás a pekne sa o nás starali. Lokalita Vela Luka je skvelá na prespatie a pre jachtárov. Pre ľudí, čo majú vyššie nároky na pláž, t.j. chcú navštíviť peknú pláž, toto mestečko je finančne náročné, lebo na pláž sa dochádza lodným taxikom alebo autom 30 minút. Boli sme veľká rodina a boli to pre nás zbytočné výdavky, s ktorými sme nerátali.

- Božanović (10/5): - From the moment we set foot on the property Dario and Mara welcomed us with such enthusiasm and warmth that we already felt like part of a family. The entire experience was amazing - the owners, the location, the concert honouring Oliver.. My friend and I decided to certainly come back another time. The guest house is in the very centre of Vela Luka so you don't have to walk too much if you're arriving by catamaran. If you're arriving by ferry, you can take a bus to the property. It's still in walking distance so the bus isn't necessary (walking will take you 15-20 minutes). Overall impression: a very special and beautiful experience 🥰 Lots of love from Jo and Klara ❤️ Some guests were noisy and it's a shared entrance/terrace. If people have respect, this shouldn't be a problem.

Soba je jako uredna i čista, a domaćini su bi vrlo ljubazni i gospođa nam je objasnila kako da dođemo do određenih destinacija koje nam trebaju, te nam je preporučila super restoran sa domaćom hranom. Rakija kao znak dobrodošlice je bila odlična ☺️ Definitivno se opet vraćamo! Hvala!!

- branko (10/5): Odlican smestaj - Jednostavno fantasticno sve. Domacini pravi,docek i ispracaj na najvisem nivou. Apartmani jako cisti i udobni. Lokacija centar grada 5min,more 1min,ali luka nije plaza u centru nema plaza. Dvoriste pravo u stilu Korcule. Sve u svemu ovo nije za 10 nego za ocenu 11. Nadam se da cemo jos nekada posetiti Vela Luku i odsesti u istoj kuci.

- Joan (10/5): We had a sense of peace and safety in this well-cared for little spot, a great place to come “home” to after a day’s adv - Mara and her husband were absolutely lovely. Every evening they greeted us with big smiles and glasses of their homemade carob rakija. The place was spotless and comfortable and we loved the courtyard with the big lime tree. Close to all the restaurants and shops and swimming area. I will miss this place! I would have liked a bedside lamp.

Vlasnici objekta su nam se najviše dojmili, izuzetno srdačni, ljubazni, simpatični i dragi koji će se pobrinuti da vam boravak bude savršen! Definitivno ćemo se vratiti.
