- Martinez De Zorzi (1/5): Scam, impossible to sleep in, very expensive for what it is - The owner of this property is a scammer. They have an automated system where they make you pay the tax and the “late check out fee” to leave at 11. They charge you everything in order to give you the code to enter, the page wasn’t working and they were not helping me or replying. Check in is 4 pm and they don’t even let you leave the luggage before (even though the place just opens with a code and they were already done with the cleaning). Once we entered at 4 pm, the “house” was missing one bed, the “open-air bath” was only a decorative fountain that you couldn’t even access. The worst of all is that the house is next to a stoplight and there is absolutely zero insulation so you hear a beep next to the bed non stop. We couldn’t stay there, it is impossible to sleep with that noise (you go crazy) so we left the place and the owners were very rude, they were lying saying we used the accommodations even though I have proof that I was at another hotel and they don’t want to give the money back. Of a place where I didn’t stay at all, they didn’t even want to return the tax fee paid before arrival which is illegal. I have been travelling for a month in Japan and this is the only place where I found people like this, it’s a shame for us tourists who come really far away to visit. I hope they are taken out of Booking since they are not up to their standards, Japanese people are the nicest and they usually treat you great and are super grateful and welcoming. What a shame this place.
- Irina (10/5): Extraordinary home to stay! - We stayed at Yadotu Kyoto Hanare for 6 days and it was amazung!! This place is truly extraordinary - you get lots of space, full comfort and luxury in real, authentic Japanese way. It was a real pleasure to come back to this wonderful home after a long day filled with fantastic experiences. We are very thankful for having the opportunity to stay here. It made our adventure in Japan even more unforgettable. I would highly recommend this amazing place.
- Ashley (7/5): Beautiful spacious apartment with exquisite design, but some irritating noise. - Design was beautiful. Great vibe. Lots of space. Loved authentic Japanese feel and having room to relax and ability to do laundry. Unfortunately we could hear the cuckoo noise of the nearby crosswalk for our entire stay - which was relentless and annoying. And during the day there was some loud construction noise as well. It was great to have a coffee machine but only having decaf pods was a bummer.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Simply Amazing! - It’s simply an amazing accommodation. Very comfortable, cosy and convenient for a small family. It’s built very nicely with authentic Japanese architecture and having breakfast there every morning was a joy. The location is also very close to Omiya Station and easily accessible, a quiet neighborhood with nearby Bar and Pizzeria. The Host (Ryosuke) is super nice and responsive, he assisted and supported us with recommendations for very nice locations and restaurants. Very helpful and kind. Will come here again!
- Corey (10/5): Cozy traditional kyoto house experience. - Traditional feel, spacious, comfortable, great onsen in bathroom, enjoyed the coat room, beautiful outdoor fountain. A little far from the city center (about 15 minutes walking). But public transportation very close to the house. Also local dining and shops around.
- Vanessa (9/5): Beautifully designed apartment in great location - Thoughtful facilities, beautifully furnished apartment that makes it a great stay for a family with small children Heating could be improved, it gets too cold for comfort in winter
- Fahad (9/5): Superb -
- Tania (10/5): Escape the noise of the City. - Unique opportunity to experience life in Kyoto in this lovely apartment. Generous space for two, comfortable accommodation with personality.
- Joanna (9/5): Loved it except the noise and pillows - Brilliant traditional Japanese experience, loved the shower and garden The pillows were awful, the noise from the street and traffic lights kept you awake
- Essa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional -
