Salvador (10/5): La mejor casa de Ensenada - Sin duda la vista del depto 4 es la mejor que he tenido en Ensenada. La ubicación inmejorable, cerca del centro, mercados, parques, cafés, restaurantes, etc. Si buscas un lugar cómodo, agradable, cerca de todo, un lugar para descansar con la mejor vista de ensenada... este es el lugar perfecto. Regresaría mil veces sin dudar. Falta una tarja para lavar el trapeador.

The location was great, making walking everywhere very convenient and the view was amazing. Some of the towels had bleach spots, but were clean and soft.

Nice location and view of Ensenada. 4 stars on cleanliness because there were a few really dirty spots (top of glass over stove and top of fridge) where a simple damp sponge would have done wonders. Hot water appliance also failed and was tricky to get hot water. But we were able to contact on-site person and owner and everything resolved to our satisfaction (I was able to take a hot shower). Overall good experience. Owner said he was going to replace hot water appliances.

Felt modern, clean, tidy and well-equipped kitchen. I think it would be even better with more shampoo / bath soap available, whether individual packets or larger packets secured to avoid loss. We ended up having to buy some for a two-day stay which we have to throw away due to hand luggage on a flight.

I felt safe and at peace. This is literally near Downtown. You're walking distance from American restaurants and you can also ubereat. I love everything!

Ashley (10/5): amazing stay yet again - so clean and convenient. safe and comfortable. we have stayed here twice now and will probably continue to stay here every time we go to Ensenada. it’s such a comfortable place and so close to the bars but not too close to where you’re bothered by any noise. there’s always amenities and extra blankets and towels and pillows. even a speaker. we honestly LOVE this place
Srinivas (6/5): Not worth that much money. - location, gated unit, good views of the city and port, furnished place, We did not have water in middle of night, had to wake up maintenance staff early morning. Toilet did not flush, had to get plumber to fix afterwards. No central heating. During December Christmas cold, Room heater provided was tiny and couldn't keep us warm enough. No hot water, lukewarm water initially, then while taking shower, it turned super cold. Then support staff changed our room and gave us a different unit due to these many problems, and the next unit heated water was much better, and we had a pleasant stay afterwards. Had they known about such problems earlier, should not have rented us that unit!!

Verified traveler (10/5): Ensenada Refuge - Very nice apartment within walking distance to the central tourist zone of Enseneda where all the main clubs and bars are at. The apartment is also a 25 minute drive to wine country (Valle de Guadalupe). The area is also safe.
Matthew (10/5): Great Stay in Ensenada - El Refugio made our trip to Ensenada. Upon arrival we were met by Rigo who promptly provided keys and showed us around the unit. The location was great and walking distance to all that downtown has to offer (1st street, fish market, restaurants, marina). Also a short 40min drive to Valle de Guadalupe/wine country. Price was definitely high compared to other options, but you’re also not getting a 2 bedroom apartment, gated/private parking, and full kitchen with those. Great stay.
Aaron (8/5): Great view - Easy to get to. Access kind of tricky. Property really nice with a nice view. There is no front desk or office so paying at the property took forever since the terminal wasn’t working. Had to go to the bank to pay in cash with the risk of having the card blocked because of so many attempts to pay. Advertised with washer and drier but no laundry detergent. Overall it was a nice stay.

My only concern was that since my wife was in a cast it was a bit troublesome to get up the stairs but we managed. We will be staying here for additional Baja Races. Worth every penny
