SANGHO (4/5): 친절한 직원, 공사 소음 대처 부족 - 4박5일 출장으로 광명역 주변에 호텔 두개 중 저렴한편인 라까사를 고르게 되었는데요 위치가 역에서 멀지 않아서 선택하게 되었습니다. 와이파이도 방마다 되고 객실도 깨끗한 편이었습니다. 그리고 일정 전후로 케리어를 맡기게 되었는데 직원이 친절했습니다. 이후에도 문제가 생겨서 문의 드릴때도 친절하게 응대하는 점은 좋았습니다. 그 이외에 복도에서 만나는 직원분들도 친절해서 직원분들 부분은 꽤 만족했습니다. 아쉬운게 어쩔수 없이 발생한게 몇건. 그리거 조금 이해 안되고 불만족스러운 것도 몇건 있습니다. 1. 와이파이 및 인터넷 오류 : 첫날 저녁부터 다음날까지 인터넷이 안되는 문제가 있었습니다. 티비 셋텁도 작동을 안해서 결국 둘째날 아침에 요청을 하고 나가서 돌아오니 복구가 되있기는 했지만 조금 불만족 스러운 부분이었습니다. 2. 호텔 내외부 소음 : 주변에 건물 철거로 아침부터 소리가 꽤 나더라고요. 물론 이건 어쩔수 없는 부분이니 이해합니다. 윗층 숙소에서 간간히 책상이나 의자를 끄는지 발생하는 소음도 아쉽지만 어쩔 수 없는 영역이니 이해하고 넘어가겠습니다. 3. 화장실 /샤워실 : 우건 부킹닷컴에서 제대로 된 사진이 없어서 가서 확인하게 되었습니다. 그런데 우선 화장실 문이 미닫이로 되어있었는데 닫아도 천천히 열리고 굘국 끝까지 충격을 줘야 고정이 되었습니다. 그리고 샤워실은 물이 잘 안빠져서 불편해ㅛ고요. 샤워시설 수압도 조금 약해서 만족스럽지 못했습니다. 4. 호텔 이용 중 복도 공사로 인한 소음 : 가장 이해가 안되는 부분인데 마지막날 아침에 발생했습니다. 오전 7시 조금넘어서 복도에서 소음이 발생하더라고요. 체크아웃하는 고객인줄 알았는데 계속 시끄러워서 확인해보니 작업하시는 인부분들이더라고요. 전날 일정이 늦게 끝나 아침에 잠을 더 길게 자려던 계획이 완전히 무너졌습니다. 나중에 체크아웃할때 나와보니 복도 전체 페인트 작업중이더군요. 닿지 읺게 조심하라는 주의를 들으면서 퇴실했습니다. 이 작업 일정이 갑자기 잡힌게 아닐텐데 고객이 쉬는 체크아웃 이전 시간에 이렇게 요란하게 하는 점이 이해가 가지 않습니다. 이런 일정이 있으면 사전에 객실을 다른곳에 배정하던가 아니면 전날에 숙소 이동 요청이라도 했으면 분명히 협조 했을텐데 말이죠. 조금 이해가 가지 않는 일처리였습니다. 이 마지막 경험 덕분에 만약에 다시 이런 일정으로 오게 된다면 다른 대안을 더 선호하게 될거 같습니다.

CHIA-LI (10/5): - 郊區了些, 離首爾市區有一段路, 塞車約要1個多小時, 搭火車反而會快些. 飯店整體好, 但因浴室門是霧面玻璃, 會有點不方便. 早餐很豐盛, 可以考慮嘗試. 附近有不少商店餐廳, 生活機能算很方便. 能寄放行李.

Villamayor (9/5): Superb - Loved the rooms and the tidiness of the hotel, as well as the access to food and entertainment. The city is a distance from seoul and the trains are limited in space at times.
Isiah (10/5): - This property REALLY lived up to its name. We were granted an upgraded room for our stay and the suite was beautiful! Simple, Spacious, Inviting and Homely! Felt Like I was in a good condo/apt (minus a kitchenette but that wasnt a necessity). OH AND THE BATHTUB AND BATHROOM was amazing. Definitely recommend this for a nice couples getaway. Unfortunately the bowling downstairs was filled when we decided to go but next time!

Thomas (2/5): Misleading Listing – Avoid This Hotel - strongly advise travelers to reconsider booking La Casa Hotel Gwangmyeong through Hotels.com. As a Platinum member and frequent Hotels.com user, I experienced significant discrepancies between the advertised listing and reality: Misleading "Serene Mountain" Claims: The hotel is described as a "serene retreat nestled in the mountains," but it’s surrounded by roads, an IKEA, and a parking lot. The so-called "mountain view" was a partial glimpse from the bathroom window—hardly the tranquil escape promised. Facilities Require Extra Fees: The gym shown in photos is part of a separate business in the basement charging 30,000 KRW per day. The hotel’s actual gym is tiny and poorly equipped. Access to the better facility is restricted to limited hours around classes, which was not disclosed upfront. No Soundproofing: Despite being advertised as soundproofed, I could clearly hear staff vacuuming in adjacent rooms immediately after check-in. Questionable "Premium" Room: My room (supposedly a premium category) did not match the listing’s photography. The layout and views appeared intentionally misrepresented to suggest a more upscale experience. Additional Issues with Hotels.com: Platinum Status Ignored: I was charged for early check-in despite being a Platinum member entitled to this benefit. Poor Customer Support: Hotels.com repeatedly dismissed my concerns, offering only trivial compensation (e.g., OneKeyCash) instead of addressing the hotel’s false advertising.

Bhavini (9/5): Luxurious but an inconvenience in terms of location - The hotel was super modern and so comfy to stay in. I couldn’t get out of the shower or bed sometimes as they were both so nice! The location is far out of main town Seoul centre. It takes about 10minutes to walk to the station from the hotel. You then have to wait every half hr for the metro. The station is on an off-shoot of the metro line making it quite confusing and also you have to wait longer for that particular tube. KTX train goes straight into Seoul Station but is expensive.

Chanmie (4/5): - We stayed here in early november and it wasn't that cold. however, when we entered our room, it was super warm and stuffy so we tried to turn on the air conditioning and it wasn't working -- turns out in fall/winter, hotel turns off the main air conditioning system so even if we try to turn the AC on in our room, it won't. this was a big no for us since we traveled with our soon-to-be 1 year old boy who is very sensitive to being warm (he would cry and won't sleep if it's a little hot). also, the hotel charged us 33,000won per night for bassinet so we it was a total of 99,000won for total added to our bill. It's unfortunate that they charge for the bassinet whilst most hotels we stayed at did it for free. Even the bassinet was for a small child so my boy was getting out of his bed at night. anyways, this hotel was clean and all but need some work in amenities and hotel facility care.
amala (8/5): - Hotel and staff were absolutely amazing, had no issues with finding food or transportation. Hotel has a restaurant and a little bowling alley above which I found cute. Check in/out was so easy, housekeeping was so respectful. Only thing we didn’t like was the bathroom (tub) but other than that it was great.
jes22 (10/5): Very good, comfortable hotel - Our Delta flight cancelled due to cybersecurity problem. Delta provided us with a bus to the hotel. We arrived very late at night along with many other people from the flight. The front desk was extremely efficient, and we had a room within 30 min or less after arrival. The room/large was large and comfortable, big enough for three, double bed and single. Fairly large counter at sink which was separate from shower and toilet. The hotel had a very good breakfast buffet, and the dinner menu was Italian and very good. The hotel is located near a very nice mall, Ikea and even a Costco. We felt very fortunate to have been put up in such a nice hotel by Delta. We couldn’t get a flight home for two days and Delta paid for everything

I particularly enjoyed spending time in the terrace garden, which offered a serene escape with its lush greenery and comfortable seating – the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The kitchen staff were equally impressive; they went above and beyond by providing me with extra items like a cozy blanket in case I got chilly. jungeun (10/5): - 깔끔하고 깨끗했지만 룸창문의 블라인드가 부서져있었고 직원들의 친절도는 다소 부족했던 호텔이였다. 체크인할때부터 체크아웃 할때까지 미소없는 말투와 쿠폰설명없이 룸서비스를 사용하다 호텔과 레스토랑은 별개라는 사실을 알게되고 당황했던 기분 상한 상황들.. 직원들의 친절한 서비스 마인드가 필요하다.

Ioannis (5/5): Nice room, but disappointing staff - Nice room with all equipment necessary, good working AC , nice design of the room and nice looking hotel overall. On the second night at approximately 4 AM in the morning a very loud noise woke us up. It was a constant banging noise (very loud) so I called the lobby what's happening. Somebody on the phone said they're sorry and it's an issue with AC and they are solving it. So nothing could be done immediately but like in 30 minutes the banging has stopped. The next morning we were checking out and I would really expect at least a verbal apology for all the trouble at night but the employees didn't say nothing. So we were really disappointed by this behaviour. In good hotels they would surely offer you at least a coffee on the house or something like that. This unfortunately ruined our otherwise overall good experience. The place is remote (it's not a part of Seoul even though Booking.com promoted it like that to us when we were booking it!) so before you make a booking better check what can you see in this particular area (that is lot of shops and the cave).

Jueun (4/5): - If you want temporary stay before you take your KTX journey, this hotel offers close location, clean and eco friendliness. Apparently also good hotel to accommodate kids’ vacation .. The other thing about this hotel is … kinda rude? I never been treated in hotel like this in Korea. When i check in hotel service person required my passport(which is reasonable as I booked the room) but he looked at my guests and started to ask their nationality and demanded our passport. This is something I never heard. I started to ask questions and refused it as I don’t think was necessary, they said it was for safety and threatened me that you couldnt stay if all of us don’t share our passport information.. Weird. Also no noise proofing at all, i could hear all the convos via vents. Area around the hotel is restaurant area, especially lot of drinking place with drunk people on the street, it did intimidated my 80 yr old grandma walking during dinner time. Otherwise they do have water fountain to fill your water bottle. Which i think rare in korea

The room was spacious and in good condition, and adequately equipped, but with no cachet. The hotel faces Ikea and Lotte Outlets, and is very close to Costco. One side faces the mountains but my room had zero view. Overall, not that great a deal.
