• Hayato (8/5): - 安さ優先、「無人チェックイン／アウト」とわかっていたのだから、予想通り。可もなく不可もなく。換気扇の音が大きいし換気口を伝って何か話し声は聞こえたが、寝られた。変な客はいなかったようだ。１度だけ清掃員とエレベーターで一緒になったが無愛想。でも、日本のラブホテルで接客の良さを求めないのと同じことだと思う。連絡先のLINEは結局返事が返って来なくて、極めて不満。チェックイン方法は日本語に切り替えられるが、普段説明書を読めない人・デジタルに弱い人には難しいだろう。入口はすぐに見つかった。市場のほぼ真横にあって、それでも静かで、安いのがメリット。

The pillow is super thin and we asked for more pillow they wanna charge us. The pillow is thin until very hard to sleep so they really should change to a better quality pillow if they dun wanna provide extra pillows. Overall still not that bad and customer services is consider fast and responsive.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Reasonable Stay - It was very good to stay there in a reasonable condition. The room was very clean and cozy enough to sleep well. Just staying there for night and having a solo trip around Taipei city, it was very good choice to be there near Shilin night market. If I have any chance to be there, someday, I’d like to have a reservation again.

• Xu (8/5): For those who want to explore the city - With no windows, an unmanned front desk, and no luggage storage, don’t expect luxury services at this hotel. But if you’re looking for a centrally located place steps from the Shilin Night Market and are a generally low-maintenance person who will spend most of your time outside, this may be the perfect place for you. I recommend that you download Line app beforehand, as that is the easiest way to reach the hotel staff should you need to. Unlike other reviews, we found our room and the property clean and spacious enough if you only have carry-on sized baggage. The only issue we had was that some of the charging ports didn’t work properly, but it wasn’t a huge issue for us.

• Mitsumasa (8/5): - 立地は中心地から外れていて士林と剣潭の間くらいなので駅から１０分弱は歩くことになりますが、士林夜市のすぐそばで便利です。 部屋も清潔ですし、アメニティや水の補給もありいいのですが、窓がないこと、上階の排水音が響くこと、初回入る時に暗証番号が分からないことはマイナスポイントかもしれません。 日本語が上手なスタッフがいるので、コミュニケーションも問題なしです。

• Hank (2/5): - I didn’t get an email after I booked until I got into my room. It took one hour for me to check in and took another hour to get power in my room. There is even no soap for washing hands.
• Verified traveler (4/5): 4/10，不要相信飯店電話，他們不會接的 - 房間不錯，雖然吹風機一下子就壞了，而且到了才發現沒有清潔服務 房間不只沒有按照我在網站上面的需求給兩個床而是一個雙人床，而且還沒有窗戶外，房間整體其實還不錯，算是滿舒適的 以上是優點，最大的缺點就是，聯繫不上服務人員 不開玩笑，光是四天的住宿，遇到的其他房客大概有超過一半都聯繫不到服務人員 電話永遠接不通，門口的座機也打不通，只有LINE能聯繫到人，偏偏又要進到飯店才能用找到官方的LINE，但就是進不去啊！！ 要使用自動式入住不是不行，但機器系統壞掉，櫃檯又沒有人，還聯絡不上人，結果就是除了我們之外至少還有其他兩組房客被困在check in長達幾乎半小時

• Verified traveler (6/5): If you are simply in need of a bed - The accommodation's location is excellent, right in the middle of the famous Shilin Night Market and just a 10-minute walk from Jiantan MRT station. However, it's worth noting that there are no room cleaning services during the two-week stay. Additionally, the reception is not manned, which can make the check-in process challenging. On the bright side, the price is reasonable, making it a convenient and affordable option.

• Kaki (2/5): - 無語 就是無語二字，網上訂的時候叫小西旅，結果到了發現叫士林厝，圖片看起來也很乾淨，但到了完全就不一樣！前台沒有人，加了line整整2天沒有回覆，房間電話是壞的，打酒店電話直接轉留言，找不到服務員。房間有霉味！到處都髒髒的感覺，很多不明污漬，而且房間外面的樓梯很黑，晚上回去的時候真的有夠可怕。樓下是酒吧還有cafe，很多人進進出出，感覺很不安全，說是不能抽煙，結果大堂就有人在抽。避雷！千萬不要訂！

• Julian (6/5): - The latest check-in time is 7PM - which is way too early and had to be looked up by the customers. I arrived at 7:15PM and was stuck at the door for 30 minutes until someone answered the call for service at around 7:45PM. If you are checking in after 7PM, tell them in advance or simply look for another place to stay to keep yourselves out of hassle and panic. Nothing is automatically assisted except for 2 bottles of water every morning. If you want new towels or new toiletries, tell them in advance, there may not be anyone working at that moment, which was frustrating for me. Also, bear in mind that there is no laundry, no breakfast, no luggage storage after check-out, basically near-zero services.

• Jonathan (6/5): - Location was very convenient. However it was very difficult to communicate with the property owners. I tried for days via phone to find out the check in process and was only able to get the access code the night before I flew. Even after arrival I could not figure out the process as the front desk was unmanned. The cleaning person was very helpful but she is not the person in charge. Even after I figured out how LINE works, the responsiveness was lacking. One lady who answered my call was very rude and even hung up on me after keeping me on hold.

However, I don't recommend staying here because the area right in front of the hotel is very sketchy and there were constantly weirdos and homeless people crouched down right in front of the hotel smoking cigarettes. Because Taipei's public transportation is really good, there is no need to stay at this location - stay somewhere nicer and just take the public transportation if you want to visit Shilin Night Market.

The hotel would send you reminders like teaching you how to get to the hotel before your trip. It’s really convenient and safe for eating and shopping when the hotel is situated inside Shilin market. Comfortable living experience. Tasty breakfasts were provided. Staff were helpful. Spacious for me to do exercise. It would be better if soundproofing is improved and body lotion and conditioner are provided as well. All in all I will be staying here again in my future visits.

The rooms are small but comfortable and clean. It is located right next to Shilin Market. Stay here if you are focused on a comfortable place to stay for a Taipei Adventure and you don’t care about amenities like a pool or gym.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Staffs are extremely friendly. The rooms are nice spacecy and clean, super worthwhile
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Is this a hotel? More like a serviced apartment. Hard to find, no sign at front door. Ten minute walk from MTR station. Room newly renovated/built but hotel is poorly laid out. You get what you pay for.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Value for money - The room is clean and bed is comfortable. Special thanks to Sir Luis in the reception area for helpinh us with our need especially on our tour in Taichung. Breakfast is simple yet filling. Don’t be confused as there are two stay hotels in Taichung.
