- Ted (1/5): - How submit report?
In this hostel stolen my new brand shoes today. I'm shok.
I think this Turkish old guy, who check out already. Because in room was 4 people only. 2 people now in hostel. 1 guy check out

- Maksim (4/5): - Adam one of the staff is a great guy Location is so hard to find .. a small aleys its like laborint. TEREBLE
- Sorng (5/5): -
- Gernot (4/5): nicht empfehlenswert - Das Personal hat Umbuchungswünsche nicht beachtet und mich am 1. Abend in ein enges 6Bett Dorm abeschoben
- Andrea (1/5): Ummm no, don't go - Nothing Room was moldy, and the bed had deep sag/trench in middle. It looked nothing like the picture. The stairs were tiny and winding. Located way down a sketchy alley.
- Orsini (4/5): -
- Brigitte (9/5): - Good location and friendly staff. Difficult access to WiFi on the 2nd floor.
- Joe (10/5): -
- Marc (2/5): Very simple hotel - The location was so centric. Even the price was cheap, the room is super small, we found ants in the room, the shower did not work well, the bed is on the floor, super tiny stairs so it gets complicated with the luggage.

- Elvin (5/5): - Dåligt
- Dominic (3/5): Was cheap so can't complain too much, but no excuse for misleading pictures or such a dirty room - Central location, albeit down some tiny alleys, quite easy to get lost. Staff were ok, but not so friendly. Fine for somewhere to sleep over NYE Room was very dated and nothing like the pictures. Bedding was very old, beside bed and under bed and behind some furniture was incredibly dirty. Not cleaned ages. Bathroom was border line clean, tap was lose and basing drained very slowly and leaked. Very noisy from the street below and from I assume the staff downstairs late at night talking and watching TV/phones

- Aguilar Correa (5/5): Gastate un poco más y elige otro alojamiento en Ho Chi Minh - Sinceramente lo único bueno que tiene es el precio - Camas incómodas
- Poco espacio vital
- Sabanas sucias
- Olor a humedad
- Moho en las paredes
- Baño que da asco usar
Y encima un borracho me despertó en mitad de la madrugada. Demasiados comentarios positivos para un sitio como este.

- Riley (1/5): Go elsewhere its a shocker! - It smelled of urine so I did not stay. The room smelling of urine.
- Hernandez (10/5): Exceptional - How close it was to everything. If you're living the backpacker, lifestyle, this is amazing for you. If you are bougie, then this is not for you
- Ajmal (1/5): Bad - Nothing No response
- Fernando (6/5): Pleasant - The room is good, spacious is ok, the staff good as well. The problem is about the matress not comfortable and if you come with many bags, careful, there are many stairs
- Estelle (2/5): Very poor -
- Judelyn (1/5): Bad -
- James (5/5): Mixed Experience – Could Be Improved - I stayed at this hotel for three nights. The location is convenient for those who want to be near the nightlife, but it is in a small alleyway that can be difficult to find. The staff were polite and professional, and the owner was very helpful at first.
When I tried to extend my stay, I was told my room was booked for one night, so I agreed to return the next day for four more nights. However, when I came back, my original room had been given to another guest, and I was moved to a different building. This new room had some maintenance issues, including a weak mattress, blocked AC filters, peeling wallpaper, and noticeable mold, which made it uncomfortable to stay in.
The surrounding area is quite lively at night, but some may find it a bit overwhelming. While the owner was very friendly in the beginning, she suddenly became distant and unresponsive for reasons unknown, which made the experience disappointing.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but organization, maintenance, and communication could be improved. The staff working there are great, but I would recommend looking at other options for a more reliable stay.

- Ruby (5/5): Okay location but not the best :( - Great location it is so close to bui walking street but not nosy as rooms are tucked away. Very authentic feel as it’s down some of the small winding alleys in between the big buildings I don’t like to write bad things as it could have just been a funny day but there was confusion around the bill I had booked via booking.com but then there where they said additional service fees had to be paid when arrived. However the service wasn’t great so I felt after I shouldn’t have paid the service fee. No toilet roll was given in room. I had to go up and down twice for WiFi as no guidence on how to accesss or passwords. No water not even mini bottles provided…. Even though a service fee was paid….
It would be nice to have the option to pay additional service as I will always pay gladly if good service and care is provided…
- Wendy (5/5): Passable -
- Shaohua (1/5): Need pay Extra fee -
- Thi (1/5): Bad -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - comfy bed, nice staff, central location great value
- Pedro (5/5): Great staff but a little but unconfortable. - All the staff were very nice to us, they even waited until 3 am for our check-in.
They also served us breakfast later than usual on the following day so we don’t wake up too early. The matress is super hard, it’s made ou of some sort of plastic and it’s super uncorfotable. The water pressure was not amazing, which is fine, but the hot water wasn’t always working.
- Donovan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Anirudh (6/5): The owner is incredibly helpful and friendly, Dorm - cramped. - The owner of the property is truly amazing—honest, helpful, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to assist with booking activities, and I had a great experience on the trips to the Mekong Delta and Cu Chi Tunnels, which were the most affordable options available. The laundry service was excellent as well. I wish her the best in all her future endeavors. The dorm was small, cramped, and had an unpleasant odor when I first arrived, possibly due to wet clothes drying. There are no plug points at the bed, so an extension cable is needed. The attached toilet within the dorm lacks privacy and can be noisy when others use it, plus it’s quite small. The price on booking.com might be misleading as the initial displayed amount and the final booking confirmation amounts are different.
- Theodore (10/5): Exceptional - Staff were very friendly and helpful, the location is excellent!
- Altmann (9/5): For this price it's very good - Kim and her staff is so welcoming and friendly ! The room was simple but everything was good ! I had a great time thank you
- Kell (8/5): Very good - Staff and location No toilet paper
- Amirul (7/5): Good -
- Lesley (7/5): Good -
- Miroslava (6/5): Everything is very near but the comfort is very low - We liked it was near Bui Vien Walking street. We liked that the staff gave us the map and explained us everything about attracations. It was very easy to get lost in this tiny streets. It is not very comfortable to move in this little streets its kinda claustrophobic. the accomandation was not clean, the stairs were steep and dangerous. The laundry expensive.
- Blake (10/5): For the price this accommodation is amazing in the city of Ho Chi Minh, the lady running it is lovely would definitely s -
- Samuel (8/5): Calm and small, rooms were okay for a small trip in HCM - Staff gives useful tips on arrival.
A/C is a beast. Bed on wood planks, small.
- Roshan (7/5): Fine accommodation - The property is ideally located near major attractions, offering easy access to must-visit spots. The staff is warm and accommodating—be sure to ask Kim for top recommendations on attractions and the best places to enjoy delicious meals. The room was satisfactory, but the staircase leading to it felt a bit unsafe. The hotel is situated in an alley, blending seamlessly with the surrounding area. Despite this, I enjoyed the unique alleyway atmosphere, which added to the overall experience. It's definitely worth the money!
- Nicolas (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Hậu (8/5): Very good -
- Jimmy (3/5): Poor -
- Stammschroer (4/5): Great people, bad hostel - The location was great, we found the hostel easy to find with the map, even though other people have complained about that.
We did both excursions recommended when you arrive, which were reasonably priced.
The ground floor stayed dry during flooding which was lucky as it’s highly raised. Guests left in room opposite due to mould, spend ages on the phone trying to get a refund for their stay which did not seem to be successful. This worried us a little. My book went mouldy from staying in the room due to the damp.
The bed was very hard.
The shower pressure wasn’t great and was cold on our first night.
- Kim (5/5): Not worth the money you pay! - The Location was great. It's in a small alley way so it's nice and quiet but when you walk out of the Alley it's really busy and you have everything pretty close by. I had to pay double of what was shown on booking. On booking it said it's around 70.000 pee night but then you had to pay double that for 1 night for "service charge" which is ridiculous because the room was so small you couldn't even walk in there properly. The bathroom was really small and always smelled really bad. The fixture for the shower was broken so you had to hold the shower had the whole time when you were showering. The guys working there stayed in the same dorm room and were overall really noisy. Although they were really nice they snored, had alarms going of for ages early in the morning buy sleeping through them so me and other roommates had to get up and wake them up multiple times. They were in the room watching videos on their phone on full Volume or were on calls, even got up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet with the door left OPEN! (The rooms are so small wirh the bathroom inside you can hear everything) they were also talking really loudly early in the morning when they were getting up waking me up. Never had the chance to sleep longer then 7 in the morning because they just didn't care about the people staying there.
There were also cokroaches in the room.
- Hugo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anass (3/5): - The worst treatment, and when you book through the application and go directly to the hostel, they ask for an amount higher than what you booked. Rooms are not suitable for sleeping in, even the bathroom smells bad. There is no air conditioning. - Anh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Muhammad (2/5): This hostel is not for living with family and solo traveler - Charging plugs not near the bed and wash room is very small and big broblum demand service charges Nothing
- Ольга (8/5): Very good - Very clear, good location, perfect conditioner Nothing to be mentioned
- Tahyrov (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isobel (10/5): The receptionist Kim was amazing and helped us with everything and more. we stayed for 3 nights and she made them as com - The property was close to the night life but just far away enough that you can have a decent night sleep. The property was in a good location and all round a good stay and worth the money.
- Mya (8/5): Super satisfied! - Big enough rooms. Felt safe. Staff were super nice and very helpful. They let us check in early! Amazing location. AC worked great. We only got our free breakfast 1 out of our 3 night stay and it did not come with a coffee as suggested on here. Mattresses are hella hard. Showers have super weak water pressure and the water was cold.
- Antony (5/5): Passable - Bed was not comfortable... only bike enter to the way to the room we can go by tuk tuk or car no lift facility
- Daisy (10/5): I would recommend to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh to stay here!! - The location!! Very convenient spot as you’re within walking distance to all the tourist spots! Kim was so friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived and gave us information on distance and prices of different places to visit and helped us to book our visit to the cu chi tunnels!! She also offers laundry service which was excellent!! Room was clean and hostel is tucked off the main road so very minimal noise!! The bed was a little bit hard but that is a minor issue as we slept well!
- Jade (6/5): Good value for money, clean and friendly. - The property was clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The laundr service is handy and the location is great. It was hard to find with google maps, the bed was extremely uncomfortable but you get what you pay for. My door key didn’t work later on in the day, they called a locksmith to fix it within 2 hours.
- Abdul (1/5): Bad - Cleaning Hidden charge and wifi its very poor
- Karin (7/5): Good - Nice staff, really helpful, clean rooms Hostel is located in tiny street, hard to find and difficult access with big suitcase, more suitable for backpackers, no lift
- Sergio (7/5): Good -
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luisa (5/5): Passable - Location They move us in another very bad room outsider the homestay for one night but the price was the same and she told us that the room was same same
- Macdonald (1/5): Horrible experience - Nothing We payed for a place we did not stay at. Arrived at the hostel with my friend. First they tried to out us in a room with a bed to share despite us having booked 2 beds in dorms. Then after 30 minutes speaking with the very rude owner on the phone they agreed to move us to the dorm rooms. My bed had used wet towels on it and sheets on both of ours were not clean. Furthermore, there are no lockers and the door to the hostel room does not lock so anyone in the building could come steal our stuff. The front door does lock but is made of glass. The property is situated in sketchy alleyways that we did not feel safe staying in. The owner refused to give us our money back and went as far as threatening us about leaving bad reviews. Do not trust the lack of negative reviews on this property; they are a result of the owner bullying guests. Stayed in over 20 places on our trip through south east Asia and this was the only bad experience and was truly horrible. Booking.com was no help in assisting for the refund despite me being a repeat returning customer with no complaints on any of the other properties I’ve stayed.
- Rose (8/5): Kim and her staff were friendly and kind - going through places of interest and customs for my first time in Ho Chi Minh -
- Niamh (1/5): Don’t bother - Good location Mouldy room
Charged more than stated
Very uncomfortable bed
- Lorenzo (6/5): Pleasant -
- BERNARDO (2/5): Malísimo - La habitación compartida es una cuadra
- Ismail (8/5): Good - Communication , cleanliness Some Charges increase price
- Sofia (5/5): Passable - Friendly staff. Cheap as hell. The dorm where I stayed is VERY small. There was only one little rubbish bin in the toilet. Shower was half broken.
- Quinn (8/5): Very good -
- Damian (8/5): Close to the walking biu vien street and park -
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Dalius (1/5): Look for another option, like Cozy Hostel - Wifi signal was strong and steady. Nothing else was good. Where to start. We arrived at night and there was nobody to meet us even though they have 24h reception service. We had to call to get in the room. The narrow stairs that are hard to squeeze your luggage are your little problems. We booked breakfast and we got a an egg and a bun with coffee, for that money you can have a meal! So don't bother with breakfast. Staff speak very bad English, always misunderstandings. We also got a smaller room, it was something like 10sqm rather than the 20 sqm that we booked, and when approached they told us it's their largest one. For one day there was no water, and they offered to go to another building for shower. In that building we found the room that we actually booked :) Oh and the window that they advertise goes straight to a wall that is maybe 30cm away, so not much of a view, nor daylight.
- Yue lun (10/5): - thanks for accepting our last minute booking as our booking for other hotel was overbooked. luggage storage available after check-out. guests do take note to let the tap water run for a while before using it.
- Jiri (8/5): Very good -
- Lucyorton (4/5): Disappointing - The man who helped us with the bags was nice. Charged us extra than the price on booking website or wanted to downgrade us. Found this untrustworthy.
Not easy to find.
- James (7/5): Good -
- Camille (4/5): Disappointing -
- Dorine (9/5): Best Stay in district 1. - On my two months travel this hostel was by far my best experience. I had my own room, very lovely and comfortable. The location is great, right around the corner of the party walking street. But the best were the two young men who were running the place. They were so nice, Ba is his name I believe, is the sweetest person on earth, also very handsome by the way. He helped me so much, made my stay very special. Because the WiFi in my room wasn't very strong, I spent a lot of time downstairs with the guys. I felt like I was at home and regretted that I had to leave. One day I'll be back! Wifi in room 8 on the topfloor could have been better.
- Geert (9/5): Superb - Great location, off in the alleys close to Bui Vien walking street. You get a little glimpse in the lives of the locals just by walking out the door! Breakfast was simple (coffee and egg banh mi) but good. Room ticked all the boxes, better than expected for the money we paid!
- Lio (4/5): I would not recomand, to expensive for what it is - Maybe the location more or less quiet dépend the night The room was very smelly from the bathroom, bed so hard, ants, Light flashing, toilet paper as usefull than nothing... really not comfy, you have a window but à à wall in front.
lundry it s just above 3 kg and no airport pick as said.
- Aungkyaw (5/5): Passable -
- Magda (5/5): Overpriced and overrated - It's ok for a short stay but definitely overpriced. Hostel is very hard to find, no sign on the street, you need to follow Google maps.
Bed is not uncomfortable but its basically pillows and a duvet on a palette.
Water dripping in the sink.
Cleaning service almost non existing, I needed to ask for towels, toilet paper and one day, cleaning guy knock on my door at 10 pm!
Can't buy water on the "reception"
Stairs super narrow and steep but thankfully stuff helped with my suitcase
