• Elsie (8/5): - Nelson was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hij heeft ervoor gezorgd dat we de boot in Sierpe op tijd konden halen en een taxi geregeld om ons op te halen. De kamer en badkamer waren basic maar alles was netjes.

• Cristina Ciuffreda (10/5): - Il proprietario Nelson è meraviglioso! Ci ha fatto trovare due boccione d'acqua in frigo il che già è tanta roba. La casa è enorme con un'amaca sul balcone che si affaccia sulla jungla e abbiamo visto un saccio di uccelli e animaletti, super rilassante anche quando piove. Un sacco di posto per stendere i vestiti. Ci ha aiutato a metterci in contatto con il tipo per prenotare l'escursione a corcovado. Se volete vi fanno anche la pulizia della stanza! Ci ha dato due tovaglie per il mare pure. La posizione è ottima, c'è da salire un pochino ma fattibile, ma se volete vi prenota il taxi per pochi dollari. Tutto meraviglioso! Grazie mille!!:)

• Didi (10/5): מושלם לביקור ב Drake Bay - אהבתי הכל במקום הזה - זו ממש בקתה משלכם בתוך הג'ונגל, עם מטבח מאובזר ומרפסות לטבע מכל כיוון, מעוצב בטוב טעם ונקי מאוד! הצוות מקסים, המיקום מצוין, באמת היה נפלא ומומלץ בחום! עניין ממש קטן - חלק מהמכשירים החשמליים במטבח לא פעלו. כמו הטוסטר והשייקר. זה ממש לא נורא, רק מציין כפרט קטן לשיפור.

• Gea (10/5): - Staying in nature is really amazing experience and host was extremely nice. The location was great, very close to the Corcovado tour start on the beach. We came with a car and you definitely need a 4x4 for the roads to the Drake Bay.
• Peter (9/5): Fantastisk läge och bra upplevelse! - Enkelt men bra! Allt funkade och var genomtänkt. Klart att AC hade varit skönt men det visste vi att det inte fanns.
• Arina (9/5): Rust, ruimte en comfort na alle excursies - Fijne, ruime en comfortabele cabin. Nelson en zijn vrouw zijn ontzettend aardig en hulpvaardig. Het verse water uit eigen bron is heerlijk. Wij kwamen hier als gezin echt tot rust na een ochtendje excursies (de meeste excursies halen je bij het hotel op) en hebben dan ook wat dagen bijgeboekt. De cabin ligt ver genoeg buiten het dorp om rust te ervaren en dichtbij genoeg om naar het strand te wandelen of een hapje te eten in het dorpje. Er is een kleine supermarkt aan de overkant.

• Fanny (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the property, very convenient location, super clean in the middle of green garden. We booked last minute but Nelson was super friendly, communication was very easy as well. One of the best cabanas we stayed at in Costa Rica.
• Chark (10/5): Exceptional - Nelson was a superb host. He booked us onto the ferry across from Sierpe and back and arranged for a taxi to take us too and from the ferry. Throughout our stay he kept in touch to ask if there was anything we needed and the property was cleaned for us during our 5 night stay which was a lovely bonus. He recommended local walks and tours which was so helpful. The hammock was lovely to relax in, the balconies lovely and peaceful to sit on and watch the wildlife and listen to the birds. A beautiful location. The property had everything we needed and was really comfortable, although we went at a very hot time, so was very warm.

We saw every day toucans, iguanas, monkeys, many birds and so much more. For is a short walk from the “center” of town. Just across the street a mini market so we can buy what we need and Nelson is so kind and wonderful. We stayed 4-5 nights and it was not enough. :) thank you

The room has all the facilities you need and the lack of air conditioning was not really a problem. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Drake Bay and wished I had spent longer staying there during my time in Costa Rica

The couple is so friendly and helpful! Our bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned whenever we asked. We could make full use of the kitchen. The place was quiet and there was aguti's roaming the garden. 1.5k walk trough town to the beach. Very good!

For example he pick us from the scuba center, drive us to pick our bag and then take us to the beach to take the boat.

The house was independent from the main building, had 2 balconies, everything you need to cook, and was very quiet at night. You are only 10min walking from the beach. The owner was kind and help any time you need. I would definitely recommend this place. Nothing

• Clive (4/5): property has been put together insensitively and on a very tight budget - This property is self catering. Location better than most as a bit off the main road avoiding some of the awful dust generated by vehicles, but did not escape it totally, as everything had a layer of dust. Quiet and fans in bedrooms adequate. This property desperately needs a comfortable sofa and there is adequate room to accommodate this. The miserable and most uncomfortable wooden and plastic seating spoilt any rest time at the property. No electric kettle or kettle for the one burner hob was provided, on asking host one was given, we hope it remains in the property for others. The one saucepan provided was not adequate - this property sleeps 4!! There is no running hot water in the sink or hand basin which is challenging in a very hot and very dusty environment for those wishing, like us, to self cater and spend time enjoying the property. We didn’t feel we could do this with the minimum that was provided. One towel per person for the 5 night duration is totally inadequate. 2 hangers and one peg for 4 persons is not enough!! There is no storage at all whilst there are hooks on the top of doors. No facility to raise your case off the floor and store under it to enable rooms to be utilised to there full. We were 2 persons and cannot image how 4 persons could be in the property. Crockery and cutlery would not be adequate. There is an table top oven but no microwave - one should be provided to enhance the facilities. Sadly on arrival the mould growth of the fridge door seal from top to bottom was alarming and on request the host obliged by bleaching it, improving it marginally, but more thorough effort would improve it further, but would recommend a new fridge for health and safety. It is an exceedingly hot environment but not ice cube trays are provided !!. The property has no safe deposit box, and whilst the front door is secure, the mesh patio doors are certainly not secure. In summary this property has been put together insensitively and on very tight budget and offered to rent at an inflated price.
