Walking distance to so many restaurants and store, great pool and beautiful patio overlooking the lake with rockers and outdoor couches. The staff is top notch too! Housekeeping, the breakfast crew and the front desk- all really friendly and helpful! Second stay here and this time had to leave a review- really great experience!

- jeniferb965 (10/5): Great Location with Many Amenities - This hotel is in a great location-- walkable to many shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was excellent-- fresh and a wide variety. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms are very neat and comfortable. Amenities were above and beyond-- the best one being the large deck facing the beautiful lake, complete with couches and rocking chairs to watch the birds frolic. Would definitely visit again!

Staff refused to address a large group who took over the lobby. They were playing drinking games, being loud, and vulgar. You could watch families rushing past to get to the elevators. Breakfast is plentiful and coffee was nice and dark. We slept comfortably. Room was quiet and has a themostat. Housekeeping is readily available each day. Outdoor pool was open in January for the kids to enjoy on a 70+ degree day. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

- X702SergioM (10/5): Perfect Location, Great Rooms, and a Relaxing Lakeside Stay - Hyatt Place Jacksonville / St. Johns Town Center was an excellent stay from start to finish, especially because of the location. Being able to walk to 100+ restaurants, shops, and entertainment options made my work trip incredibly convenient. Since I was working in the area, having everything so close by was a huge plus. My room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The spacious layout and high‑end bedding made it easy to unwind after long days, and everything felt fresh and well‑maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout my stay the kind of team that genuinely goes above and beyond. Breakfast was strong each morning, with a generous variety and even staff pouring coffee for guests. It’s one of the better Hyatt Place breakfast setups I’ve experienced. The on‑site bar was perfect for a post‑work beer, especially with the view facing the water. While the hotel doesn’t offer many dinner options, it’s understandable given how many restaurants are within walking distance. With that much food nearby, it’s easy to step out for a proper meal. One of my favorite parts of the property was the large deck overlooking the lake a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Overall, this is a fantastic Hyatt Place with a prime location, comfortable rooms, and a relaxing atmosphere. I’d absolutely stay here again.

- erleynq (2/5): Liar package - I had a very concerning experience during my stay. I ordered a package to be delivered to the hotel, and the shipping company confirmed it was delivered to the front desk. However, once I asked about it, no one seemed to know where the package was. I spoke with different front desk staff across multiple shifts, and none of them could explain what happened. Each time, they went into a back storage room to “look for it,” took a long time, and closed the door, as if it were a complicated situation. This felt unusual and suspicious. What makes this worse is that no one offered any evidence to support their claim that the package never arrived—no security camera footage, no delivery log, nothing. Despite having proof from the courier that it was delivered to the front desk, I was left without answers or support. Overall, this was a very strange and frustrating experience, and it seriously impacted my trust in the hotel’s package handling and front desk procedures.

- Ashley (7/5): I enjoyed being in a clean and comfortable environment during our short stay. - I liked that the facility was clean, breakfast was hot and ready and customer service was very great from the front desk to the cleaning staff. Our room’s thermostat was a bit difficult to comprehend when adjusting. So when we arrived it was really stuffy in our room and it took awhile to cool off and when it did cool off it was really cold. So it may just be a little maintenance issue there but our room overall was great, clean, stocked and in a great location.
