- Margaret (10/5): - It was a beautiful hotel, large suite, many amenities, great service, I would put this place on the top of my list!
- Janet (7/5): - Breakfast was okay Capitalizing on the fact that you are the only hotel in the area that accepts pets and charge a $100 pet fee.
- Lola (4/5): Never again! - The driveway I am a breakfast person when I go to hotels. Let me tell you, I love some good breakfast… but this hotel, the breakfast was trash, swimming pool too small, the jacuzzi didn’t get hot but bubbles up, the beds were extremely small hard and uncomfortable.
- Jamie (10/5): Beautiful! - We stayed one night as our a/c died and it was far too hot in our home. The place is lovely and well maintained. Service was great, breakfast was tasty and the beds comfy. We enjoyed some pool time and got a good night's sleep.

Room was excellent and staff was great
Thx
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - The Breakfast had a great selection. Lots of options. The biscuits were a little to doughy and the bacon was too crispy. The indoor pool was way to cold. I swim 5 days a week at the YMCA the coldest the pool there was 78° and the heater was broke. I think this pool had to be about 70°. I wouldn't even get in way too cold. Luckily kids don't care and our son still had a blast so that's all that matters. 😁
- Bruce (5/5): Passable -
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was fine just one suggestion they should offer to clean everyday instead of every other day, nice room though
- Bernita (8/5): - Hotel was great! Bed was very uncomfortable. Needs new mattress.
- Lynda (10/5): - Reasonable and comfy
- Shanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeffrey (10/5): - The room and entire propery was very clean. The staff were very nice and polite. I liked that they were located very near the army base that I was visiting.
- Doug (6/5): - They share a firepit set with other hotel, but it is broke, and they advertise it, and they are not in fixing mood. they say the other hotel is responsible, but the other hotel does not care. very small pool... room was tight, but nice, ok.
- Tracie (8/5): - It was very accomodating
- Alice (10/5): - Lovely property well located for access to Kansas City or to ATCHISON for Benedictine visits.
- Chad (10/5): - Great hotel stay. Good Breakfast, clean and friendly staff. Thank You!
- Christine (10/5): - Rooms were as clean and described and location was perfect.
- Jeremy (8/5): Good breakfast, great fitness room, meh shower - We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was great. It was well stocked and delicious.
The fitness room was fantastic! Dumbbells up to 75lbs, a smith machine and a range of fixed barbells, two benches, and a cable machine. Most places just have a couple of treadmills and call it a “gym”. I’m always looking to lift and this place let me do that. Yes, they also had cardio machines for those who care.
The only thing in my “cons” list is the shower. Idk if the problem is the shower head or just water pressure in general, but showering after the workout was a frustrating experience.
Another thing that was odd, but didn’t really bother me… the front desk person was sitting at a table in the lobby and each time we pulled up into the driveway, they would hurriedly get up and walk somewhere out of sight so they were gone before we could get inside the building. The only time this affected us was when we were trying to check in and had to stand there waiting for several minutes before getting helped.
- Leucir (8/5): Very good -
- Shawn (6/5): Not really good for a family though great for one couple or a single person. - The choices for Breakfast was nice. I do appreciate non pork items on the line. The room set up was not conducive to a family. The sleeper sofa opened up directly in line with the main bed. It was an extremely claustrophobic inducing setup. It left very little room and no room to walk between the two beds. I honestly do not know how this set-up passed a fire inspection. If you had to use the bathroom at night you had to crawl over your partner and other family members to get to the bathroom.
- Jason (8/5): - Clean, quiet, good breakfast
- Verified traveler (4/5): Seems like a nice place but lacks customer service - We did not get to stay. They refused our method of payment upon arrival.
- Sean (5/5): Feces on the couch - The lady serving breakfast was super nice! To start the night time desk lady was just not as friendly as other stay with other chains in the past, buzz kill. We got to our room and I sat down on the couch to take my shoes off and was sitting right next to human feces on the couch like peoples of poop. It was late and I knew the front desk lady wasn’t going to do anything about it so moved on to report here. I unfortunately touched it when I was getting up and that was very very bothersome and wasn’t prepared for that. The rooms are small but worked for one night. I travel for work and to know this during my personal time, makes me think other avenues of stay. The breakfast could step its game up as well, I get it’s complimentary but watery eggs is an easy fix and fresher bagels/toast. Also would be a nice touch to add cranberry juice
- Rylina (8/5): - The check-in person was not very friendly but the morning staff was.
- Jessica (10/5): - The property in and around was very clean. Great breakfast.
- Pig (8/5): - Nice property , clean and friendly staff
- Jennifer (8/5): - The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The shower drain was very slow and caused water to remain in the shower, we reported it and hopefully they fix it. Overall a great stay
- Tammy (10/5): - The property is very welcoming.Check-In was amazing. He was very friendly. Answered all my questions. Let me know if there was anything I needed to reach out.
- Lori (10/5): Exceptional will stay there again - Breakfast was very good, anything you could want.
- jennifer (8/5): - For our trip, this hotel/location worked. There aren't any restaurants near by, must have a car. Suite room was convenient & comfy. Pool should be updated and kept much warmer, didn't utilize.
- Tami (10/5): - There is a scooters across the street for a morning coffee treat. The place was clean and well maintained with friendly staff.
- Shawn (8/5): - The property was nice, clean and convenient
- Chris (6/5): Horrible room smell. - Check is was slow, desk worker took a bit to show up. Room smelled very strongly of harsh cleaner or air freshener. So strongly it was nauseating.
- Nicole (10/5): - everything was great
- Amy (10/5): - Really great staff, particularly Glenn at the front desk.
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - room appearance, comfortable bed, good breakfast na
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The description of our room said full kitchen but the queen room suites with kitchens only include a flat top and no oven. The oven is only included with a king bed. It should be the other way around. Also, the bathrooms need more than 1 hook. There were 4 people in a room with 1 hook and only got service for refreshing the room every other day so we had to keep our towels separate.
The curcuit breaker for the lights and TV went out at least 5 times. Ted, the maintance man was great.
Also, the woman that prepares the breakfast was very friendly and accomidating.
Location to Fort Leavenworth is great.
- jason (10/5): - Great room, incredibly comfortable bed, staff was friendly and accommodating, would definitely stay here again
- Ash (10/5): - Very clean, very nice, roomy, and overall pleasing.
- Shelly (10/5): - Everything was fine staff very friendly
- Eleanor (7/5): Good -
- Erik (10/5): - Super clean and decent rooms. Very happy with all of the facilities. Would be nice if they had an atm
- Jean (6/5): Disappointed in Leavenworth - Never mentioned that they don’t clean or make your beds EVERY DAY. We weren’t told of this policy until the 2nd day where I complained about the half fast made beds, no towels, no toilet paper refilled. We were told this was only a
REFRESH (not that that had been explained what it was either) and a full clean done in 3rd day. The night before we checked out we found a letter from the mgr explaining these practices. Should have been given at check in. Then at checkout I asked about speaking with him and I was told by clerk that he wasn’t in, yet after explaining our concerns he miraculously popped out of his office in back. He made some adjustments to our bill which my friend and I split. Another thing is they advertise this beautiful looking patio on their ad, which turns out is actually the patio for the Fairfield Inn by Marriott NEXT DOOR! Ours was a far cry from what they showed. I’ve NEVER heard of a 5 Star hotel that doesn’t clean and make your beds EVERY DAY. As comfortable as the room was, I would not call this a 5 star with those REFRESH practices.
