- Chengetai (1/5): Do not waste your money on this hotel as the service is not up to scratch - The hotel is accessible to public transportation and easy walk to the civic shopping centre. The hotel could benefit from a more thorough to enhance the experience of visitors. Staff do not address customer concerns for example, organising cleaners to undertake a more thorough clean due to health reasons or processing security deposits. The furniture is uncomfortable and mainly stained. Drainage system of this hotel is not efficient making the rooms quite smelly. Lack of ventilation makes the rooms stuffy. Limited toilet paper is provided and basics such as water are not provided by this accommodation.
- Aya (9/5): - I stayed in room 207B. The location was great, and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. However, I noticed a small issue with the bathroom amenities. There were two bottles labeled as body wash and one conditioner. The contents of the two body wash bottles seemed different, so I assume one of them may have been shampoo. It’s a minor detail, but I would appreciate it if this could be checked for future guests.

Poor phone reception and signal. despite being offered premium wifi access, the signal was not good enough. There was no seal beneath the door frame, allowing hallway light to enter the room. When the hallway lights were on, the light shone directly under the door and into the room, making it difficult to sleep.

Once we got into the room it smelt. Smelt like wet dog. Bed was 2 singles moved together so made sleeping uncomfortable for the two of us.

Windows could not be opened. I found the front desk to be unhelpful. I asked for slippers but they said they don't have. For the brand and price point I expected the basics to be available in the room. I frequently travel to Canberra and there are much better options around.
