Sara (4/5): - There wasn't much to like. The property (the surroundings, not the buildings) was nice. That's it. I messaged them around 6 or 7 pm to say that traffic from Manila was very bad and I would be late. They never responded. I ended up getting there at midnight. No one was there, we called and called and waited an hour until someone finally came with the key. When I entered the room was really depressing. There were shed ant wings everywhere, all over the bed and there was an insect crawling through the toilet paper. The rooms and furniture are old and dirty, there are a lot of ants, the sheets and towels were stained. The water had rust in it. You could hear everything that happened outside the room. The last night they played christmas music non-stop throughout the night. This was such a depressing place to stay and was way more expensive than it's worth. It's probably not the worst place you could stay, but it's also not worth the price you pay.

Thomas (3/5): Extrem renovierungsbedürftiger Zustand. - Auf den ersten Blick macht die Anlage einen naturnahen Anblick. Auch das Personal ist freundlich. Es gibt einen kleinen Außenpool zwischen den Kokosnussbäumen, in dem wir abends entspannten. Es gibt einfach zuviel Müll. Vor unserem Balkon lag viel Plastikmüll. Warum muss das sein? Es waren zu diesem Zeitpunkt kaum andere Gäste vor Ort. Also hätten die Mitarbeiter gar keine Mühe gehabt, etwas für Sauberkeit zu sorgen. Sie saßen aber nur tatenlos in ihrem Rezeptionsbüro. Das Personal ist zwar nett aber unfähig. Auch war das Zimmer extrem trocken eingerichtet. Schmucklos wie eine Gefängniszelle, keine Kleiderbügel, Möbel von Termiten angefressen. Muffiger Geruch, alles extrem renovierungsbedürftig. Mir scheint, der Besitzer des Hotels kümmert sich nicht genug um seinen Besitz. Und dafür ist alles deutlich zu teuer. Übrigens: Wir wohnten im Haupthaus. Viele der Gartencottages waren nicht einmal betretbar, weil die Holzbrücken am See morsch und stark einsturzgefährdet waren. Das erfuhren wir unfreiwillig, denn Warnhinweise sieht man vergebens.

The closets smell bad so we didn’t dare put clothes in there Service staff almost invisible. We only saw them when we checked in and checked out

Chel (3/5): Nice view of the lake but staying in the room was a stressful experience - Staff were friendly and courteous. They try to accommodate all our requests (but note that our requests were due to our broken TV or that the bathroom's door was locked or that the toilet is not thoroughly cleaned, etc., hence we needed to call on them often. With a property that big, it is understandable that it will take a lot to maintain it. But it was quite disappointing that even the rooms were not properly kept. Rooms smelled old and musty, ceilings had cobwebs, the faucet is leaking. There were also not enough lights in the hallway or in their staircase. The place gave me an eerie feeling. I did not even bother taking our pictures because I'm scared to see when something appears on the photo lol

We stayed here 1 night bec the aqua room was not avail. (Their aqua room is nice huwag lng tlga sa hotel room) We transferred the next day. 1night stay I’m sorry but it was horrible. The hotel room looked like un maintained. One of the door lock was broken, the ceiling had something that looked like molds? The whole room looked old and kulob. I felt like I can’t breath well inside, I’m allergic to molds. And the tv well better bring your own entertainment like iPad.

Cristina (4/5): Only the place was nice and relaxing - Place was absolutely nice fresh air and quiet, very peacefull Stuff was ok but i guess they are not proffesional of their job, i had 3 room that i have to change first one the room was too hot ac are not working second one the door are broken, the guy who check the room he knows its broken and he still put us there cant even lock the door. 3rd one was ok though but not really cleaned and another issue too hard to lock and open the door. This place needs to refurbish their room. Service of food it takes 4 hours u have to keep calling them and they keep saying it will be there soon. Better to bring your own food.

Ella (8/5): nice natural stay in a farm environment where your eyes can feast on the green lawn, & the lake. - Breakfast was available at the restaurant, relatively cheap but quality. The farm atmosphere is simply perfect, very relaxing, with greenery around. The choices of recreation also provide ample activities for hubby and my son. I loved the walks, and the views on the place is great. Would love to go back. The hotel can benefit from an outside spruce-up. Inside the rooms, however, was great. Our hotel room was newly renovated, and CR is spic and span.

What was assigned when we arrived is Aqua room 1, a floating cottage, with fragile wooden bridge. While taking pictures just beside the room, one wood plank broke and had my left foot twisted. I do not recommend this type of room for family with kids. If upon reservation, it is already mentioned that we are booking for a floating cottage, I will not choose this room as we have a 5month old baby with us.

Glaira (7/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We went there to relax and unwind and that's exactly what we got. - Food was great! There's no food that we didn't like. All the staffs are kind as well. Not crowded and we almost had the whole place for ourselves. Maybe because we booked during off-peak season and during the weekdays. The ambiance is so relaxing as well - very good for mental health. The whole place is massive but only a few activities for kids besides the pool. I hope there will be a kid's park in the future. The hotel room is quite old and it smells old too. They didn't seem to maintain the property quite well. Lights were so dim because the other bulbs are not working. Maybe the other cottages don't look like the hotel but I hope they will maintain or even renovate some parts of the hotel rooms. Some parts of the cabinet were falling off.

They treat us like we are not a guest. Mismanagement, unorganized and they prioritize a bigger group of people than small family group.

Also, the grounds was good for walking especially with our fur babies. The staff was very approachable and they were accommodating and kind. Some parts of the place are a bit neglected. Probably this was due to the pandemic. I hope they will be able to revive some parts of the resort because it is such a beautiful place.

If you like these, perhaps it would be ok for you considering that it's already included on their rate. The location was a bit far and secluded. Once you arrive inside the place, you will no longer think of going out to get some food or other supplies due to the long distance from the downtown. Make sure to bring your food and supplies with you. The roads leading to this place are well paved but very very dark when we get there at around 7pm. The hotel needs serious upgrade. I felt like I time travelled in the 70's. The bed sheets and towels are clean though. The resort made a humble upgrade on the toilet by updating the tiles. It was clean and good enough for its price. The place was very serene and green. They made a constant effort in maintaining the grass and plants. Perhaps, it would compensate for all the not so good impressions that you might have. Although it was not spectacular, our family enjoyed our stay albeit short. We can consider coming back when we go to Caliraya area. The hotel in general needs serious upgrade. It's very old and dated. Although it's not rundown, it would be a lot better if they could do some upgrades.

Carenderia food is better than the restaurant food Villas are not weather proof and dine in is outside so we cant eat if its too windy and raining. Gladys (7/5): its okay - Food. its cold in the room even without the AC. hot shower available love the restaurant. room was spacious. the balcony and scenery love it chinese new year fireworks. towels and toiletries available you can park in front of your balcony AC is silent that my request for clean shower head was not followed. the room is a bit outdated and weary. the staff in the hotel hallway are bit noisy. its raining when we were there, lack of pathwalk and indoor activities. there ahould be security roaming around, one time someone tried to open our room they thought its there friends room it scared me a bit since they are foreigners. they book our room in between of those large group, these large group were noisy, slamming the doors and tried to open our unit. TV not working they put in a couple of movie though lack of souvenir items sink in the bathroom is too low there should be a fan as an option if the guest would like to turn off the AC
Gelays (6/5): Pleasant - the nature the surroundings, i love it. Fresh air and green sceneries the service and food. the machines for activities are worn out, i.e bike and Atv
Monty (3/5): Poor - Except for greenery and isolation and far away from every thing nothing special. So so only. Definitely not going back. Although breakfast was included in the stay (we had 6pax) but they charged extra for coffee refill 50peso per cup and extra rice 60 pesos per serving. For the 3 days we stayed nobody not even 1 staff told us about the extra payment or signed the receipt. Was presented with a bill of 1030peso at end of checkout as I think was a rip off!! Ordered some beers but failed to deliver too. Service was bad and no staff available in the dining area. We have to go to the kitchen to ask for some services. Also wanted to charge us for use of kettle as there was none in room. We told the staff was supposedly part of the service in a hotel room then they decided to waive it. No mention of charge for loan of kettle too!! There is alot of hidden charges!! The hotel are full of cats and came inside the room through the balcony. Definitely not going back. Nothing special or great about the place. Tried fishing too for 2 days without any catch or bites. Either the hook or bait used was bad or simply lack of fishes. Couldn't explain why also. Hidden costs I think the management or staffs was told not to inform until check out as they hold a 1000peso deposits per room. We had 2 rooms.

Erlinda (10/5): Stayed November 8-9 2022 Amazing location - Very picturesque...ideal for nature lovers. There are various team building on offer which helps take one's mind off things. Nothing in particular. A constructive criticism, hotel rooms need updating. We stayed in Rooms 13 and 14.

Ibalio (10/5): Thank you very much ecoville :) - Everything you'll need are provided. We booked for deluxe villa and it was so amazing. Staffs were also very cheerful and helpful. Lots of activities you can try and enjoy. You are to feel nature so expect those bugs and ants and it would help to prepare/bring bug sprays. It would also be perfect if all facilities were available during our stay. But over all the place is really great.

Heinz (9/5): Relaxing, fun, and inexpensive. - Caliraya Ecoville Recreation Farm & Resort is a place to relax and be one with nature. It is reasonably priced and does not lack in recreational activities. I have been visiting this place for more than 20 years. One of the main attractions is the lake wherein there are many different kinds of fishes big and small. However, there is a certain degree of difficulty in catching the fish. One needs to be some sort of an expert fisherman or have extra loads of patience. If only the fishing is much easier then the experience would be excellent.
